Could it be possible that the Anti-Spam feature also blocks expiring messages?
Because today I noticed the first time that a fish feast expiring message wasn't sent (the notice on cast was sent). It could be that it would have been sent just after a soulwell cast notice.

Expiring messages will not show when people are all well fed also have soul stone. Or if you are in combat (even someone killing a rat). Each message is separate and should not affect the other.

Was everyone well fed or were you in combat?

But now that you are suggesting things, this is something I wish it had:
    -Shared media compatibility

    What does that mean?

    Quote from enkil80

-"Semi hide on combat" option, leave a small window (like XRS) with the bars. I know I could leave the whole dashboard on but I find it kinda big and cant do much at 1/2 boss fight if someone its missing wisdom.

    http://www.wowace.com/addons/raidbuffstatus/tickets/161-hide-boss-r-trash-buttons-in-combat/

Also you can hide all the buttons in combat just leaving the bars already. Click top right in the dash and choose option to hide in combat.

-Rogue's ToT or hunter's MD warning.

I second the whispering food buff option. I'm not sure why something so spammy would be turned on by default though.

The reason is I made the choice based on the raids I attend. It has really helped speed up slackers with food buffs. This won't be useful for everyone. Also it's good to get feedback about what people like and dislike. I can make changes in alpha/beta versions and when the feedback settles down I can make stable releases with the best defaults.

    1) RBS dashboard is ugly. Skinner helps with that a little, but its still unwieldy, even when you remove all the buttons you don't care about. I'd almost like to see it resize when it detects that buffs aren't available to your group, but that would probably be too much bloat.

    2) No scaling options. Yes, I'm glad I can choose how many columns, but that doesn't help me when I really need to say "I want this to be 250px wide."

    3) The bars aren't very useful to me. Granted, I'll admit, I haven't played with them much since the first week they were out, but I like that my XRS is right there, showing me AFK, dead, near people, etc. I wish that I could make my own queries for the bars (RABuffs doesn't work for me anymore I'm afraid), but I can live with them being buttons instead. Basically, I want more information if you're going to show me bars, and that may simply be because I'm used to XRS and RABuffs for this sort of thing (like AFK status). Basically, I want the option to turn some things into bars I guess. Hehe, silly I know.

    4) Customization. I need to have a "Detect Invisibility" button on RBS for my warlock to make sure that I buff that in Naxx. I can't do this in RBS as easily as I can in XRS.

EDIT: One question, how exactly do I set up the RBS tank list?

    http://www.wowace.com/addons/raidbuffstatus/
    Tank List

RBS tries to automatically spot who the tanks are. It does this in two steps. First it looks at the tank list. (Every raid uses a tank list right?) It can use many tank list systems in common use including anything compatible with the Blizzard tank list, oRA2, ctra, or xperl. Then it looks at the talents and class of the players on the list to check they could tank. It will ignore players who are not tanks (eg Priests) that are only being used for following DPS or other scenarios.

Ok, thanks for looking at it.
I already deleted that Addon again, so my next raid will show if it changed anything for RBS poison detection.

You can try editing the translation. It's possible lua does not like the format of the reg exp. Try the other options I suggested.

While fishing in terrokkar to finally get my salty.title, mr pinchy granted me his blessing.

Although it's extremely rare and difficult to get (low droprates and multiple wishes)
i wondered if we should add it to rbs .
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=33053 , is the same as a flask of stoneblood and persists for 2 h and even over death.

Stoneblood is 1.3k. Pinchy is 0.5k. Pinchy already was added to RBS a long time ago. It is counted as a TBC flask.

Back from my holiday now. I will try and reply tomorrow night.

With regards whispering when non-assist. This should not happen as only an assistant can do a raid warning and it is the act of doing a raid warning sets a call back. Are you sure you are not an assistant? Was it a pug?

I noticed that you use "mele" in many localizations. Shouldn't that be "melee"? ;)

You are right! I did not know that. I will correct it. Probably after I get back from holiday.

In total RBS has given us the feeling of baby sitters watching after children. A durability, ammo, reagent check would really enforce this even more. I think people should look after themselves, maybe get a reminder once or twice after that it should crack a whip.

RBS is no replacement for good leadership. It is a tool to be used by the raid leader (but can be used for checking oneself if buffed).

Yep. The DPS-death-warnings, automatic-whispering-of-people-without-food in parties even when you are not the party leader and so on are enabled by default. Which means time needed for the user to disable them. May want to review what features are good/not so useful to have enabled by default.

Useful feedback. Yes I think the dps warnings should be disabled by default.

I had not thought about the whispering - that would be terrible in a battleground. However in a party usually the leader is the tank for marking so there should be no need to be leader.

The defaults I choose are not accidental. They are chosen on purpose. I do sometime change my mind though. If you have some others which should be on or off then let me know and I will consider it.

Are you sure this matches "Wundgift" (because of "g" instead of "G")? Also, wouldn't that need a space before "Wund"?

Maybe that way: "((Wundgift )?( Gift )?[IVX]*)"?

Would not work due to the space. Neither would the other one posted due to the G.

    Simple answer is:
    "(ift ?[IVX]*)"

    Also would work:

    "(((Wundgift)|(Gift)) ?[IVX]*)"
    "((g|G)ift ?[IVX]*)"
    "((Wundgift)?(Gift)? ?[IVX]*)"

Please stop sending CTRA/PLPWR messages to RAID/PARTY when we're in battlegrounds.

    Good idea.

I don't PVP so I don't get to see such problems.

Also there is a ticket system for feature requests here:
    http://www.wowace.com/addons/raidbuffstatus/tickets/

    Thanks.

Edit: question. What do you use RBS for in pvp? How about just disabling in pvp?

Ok, this explains why the counter changed to 0 when I inspected someone.

So it seems like it is a bug. It happend again in the raid last night, we had 2 Rogues and one was always shown as missing poisons.
Maybe it's a localization problem? How are you checking if the weapons have temporary enchants?
I'll also check what poisons all of our Rogues use the next time I see the problem, maybe some specific poison causes it.

Yes it uses localisations. Yes check what the Rogues are using as poison and check the translations.

Heading into excessive-feature-overload with the latest revisions.

"Added a new Death Warnings feature where it tells you when a tank, DPS or healer die." Why? It has nothing to do with buffs, its more appropriate for a raid mod like oRA2 (which already provides tank death alerts). And I don't really need to know when a DPS has died ;).

    1. Don't artificially limit an addon's features by its name. Originally it was for raid buffs. Now it does anything useful in raids within its own remit of knowing what roles people have and what buffs and what status. Perhaps it should be renamed Raids Status and Buffs. RSB. ;)

    2. RBS is one of the few (only?) addons which knows roles and hence can tell when a dps or healer die. oRA2 does not know roles and so can not tell you when healers die - only when someone on its tank list dies.

    3. If you don't like a feature then disable (or don't enable) it. RBS is written in such a way that disabled stuff does not take more RAM or CPU or screen space.

    [QUOTE=Zidomo;286829
Speaking of which: "- Added Healthstone item check. Requires oRA2 r665 or later. Experimental.
    - Added Soul Shard item check. Requires oRA2 r665 or later. Experimental.
    - Added Mammoth Cutters + Saronite Razorheads hunter item check. Requires oRA2 r665 or later. Experimental.
" and so on. Again, nothing to do with buffs. And oRA3 doesn't look like it will be handling item checks.
Split all this extra fluff/stuff into a separate "raid" mod?[/QUOTE]

Take the hunter ammo for example. That can actually give a much bigger increase in DPS than any flask or buff and is definitely in the remit of checking the raid's ready and prepared status.

Currently I can do an item or durability check in oRA2 but I don't want the hassle when RBS can tell me at a glance this info and more without doing any work or clicking.
