posted a message on Curse keyword substitution not applied for libraries

Any update on this? LibDogTag and friends (LDT-Unit, mainly) use file date for versioning. If this isn't working, they fall back on using the development version number, which is higher than any date would ever be. This essentially breaks versioning of embedded copies of the library entirely.

posted a message on Undocumented packager behavior change

In my pkgmeta for TellMeWhen, I had /Lib listed as an ignore.

With the old packager, this would cause the /Lib folder to get wiped prior to being re-populated by my externals, ensuring that the packaged libs were always exactly as they come in from the externals, with no extra files hanging around.

In the new packager, this causes my /Lib folder to be excluded entirely from the resulting zip. It (presumably) gets populated with externals, but then never gets included when the zip is created.

Some documentation about the order in which pkgmeta directives are processed would be appreciated.

posted a message on Issue tickets in projects

    1) It would also be very helpful on the issue list to have a sidebar there that allowed for multi-selection of all tags for filtering. By default, all tags would be checked, and as you uncheck tags, issues that have that tag that was unchecked would no longer be in the list. There would also be select all/select none buttons.

Right now, you can view all the issues with a specific tag, but you can't view all the issues without a specific tag.

For example, if I want to view all my issues that don't have a "Waiting" tag, I have no way of doing so.

    2) I also think it would be prudent to separate out "issue type" tags from "issue status" tags just like it was done on the old site. This would work nicely in conjunction with #3:

    3) And while I'm on the subject, I would also very much appreciate if the issue list returned to a normal table-style list instead of having two lines of text for each issue. Not having everything in its own column makes it really difficult to scan the list quickly for what you're looking for.

    4) I may have already suggested this in another thread somewhere, but it would also be really nice to be able to colorize the tags. Again, its an issue with scanning the list for what I'm looking for - if everything is the same color, I have to read every single tag, but if there were colors, I can find exactly what I'm after at a glance almost instantly.

posted a message on Where are my tickets?

I've also noted that parts of tickets are behind where they should be. This ticket, for example, I know for certain I had replied to and closed last week, but it is now open without my response: https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/tellmewhen/issues/1339

posted a message on Ticket templates are gone

I no longer see a way to edit the default template provided when someone creates a new ticket, and there is also no default text there at all.

Having something for users to fill out that included requests for version numbers, error messages, and exports of any relevant configuration was VERY helpful in getting tickets resolved quickly. Now, I'm almost always going to have to come back at the submitter each time and specifically ask for all the relevant information.

posted a message on "Enhancment" issue tag on migrated issues

All of my issues that were migrated that were categorized as "Enhancement"s are now tagged as "Enhancment"s. I have two tags now, one for "Enhancement" and one for "Enhancment". Seeing as there's no way to mass edit issues, and this seems to be affecting every project I've looked at, could we get someone who knows how to spell to merge "Enhancment" with "Enhancement" and then delete the "Enhancment" tag from every project? :)

posted a message on No more project forums?

I would very much like to see the forms returning as soon as possible. TellMeWhen had a tremendous amount of user-created content in its forums, and all that data is now just gone. Is there any way at all to access the old forms, or are there any plans to stand up at least a read-only version of them until they are migrated to the new sites? I have several people already who are really disappointed to see that everything they've contributed to those forums over the years is now gone.

posted a message on IsSpellInRange no longer works for melee?
It doesn't work with specialization/talent abilities that replace base abilities.

I wrote a library to fix it by mapping spell names and spellIDs to spellbook slots, so that it will always work (and, not to mention, you can use it with spellIDs instead of being forced to use spell names).

    The lib: http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/libspellrange-1-0/

(Yes, I am Cybeloras - I have no idea why WowAce is displaying this username since I'm pretty sure I've never used it ever.)
