I don't suppose this will do anything to fix the fact that emphasized bars are now forced on and the setting to enable/disable them does nothing. Been this way since you bugfixed the emphasized bars a while ago.

    Correct.

The latest BigWigs Alpha now has basic bitflag options so you can toggle bars / messages etc per boss ability. Just a warning, this might break horribly, if it does, let me know on IRC.

BTW, BG seems sometimes to have issues with battleground starting time, e.g. announcing battle start in XXX seconds when joining a battleground that already started.

Edit: dumb me, should have read the TODO list. Anyway, BG could parse CHAT_MSG_BG_SYSTEM_NEUTRAL messages to correct the timer.

It's weird, I use the official instanceruntime from blizzard for the starting timer. But yeah I can correct it upon the neutral messages.

Will add some logging for that so I can catch em all.

if you check for the 3 yells [started] [halfway] [broken] it will work most of the time.
You might be out of yellrange though, so capping introduced syncs here.
mousing over the siege engine has been another way to get the time remaining, but i have the feeling that the buff currently is bugged, it seems to vanish from time to time and isnt visible on the engine.
I think, each method for itself isnt reliable, but if you combine them it will work better.

I know, I didn't add the buff checking because I haven't seen the buff on the engine yet. (which would confirm your guess that it is bugged) I don't want to go copying that behaviour blindly.

Btw, I think the same apply to this one : L["%s has breached the %s Keep!"]. It should be L["%s has breached %s Keep!"] (unless if it is used to parse some chat).

That was already fixed, see enUS.lua

    Added frFR, still incomplete.

There will be an issue about some phrases in French because "the Horde" translates to "la Horde" but "the Alliance" translates to "l'Alliance". So any formatting string like "The %s has defeated %s." will be incorrect for the Alliance.

damn the french! I'll have to ponder on that one.

Edit: I added "The Alliance" and "The Horde" as strings to the localization, and use those, that should do the trick..

Ok, the error I posted two posts up is not only occuring on group changes. I get it multiple times during combat in raids. I don't know what really triggers it.

And I have found another bug:
Soulstones are not detected from the combatlog. Maybe another rank problem? ;)

Provide logs on the soulstone issue

I have reduced the chance for that error on group change occuring, I will apply a proper fix at a later date. tjhe adjustpanelinset was called too often.

I have a feature request. Could you catch from the chat message the name of the player who assaulted each landmark (when applicable) and display that in its timer tooltip?

That way I can more easily chastise people who assault a POI and then run off leaving it unguarded. :)

I can probably do that for Arathi for instance, but in AV there is no such thing.

Nice :) When are you planning on making options? I have a DockingStation bar at the top of my screen and I want to move the entire panel.

The panel is currently attached to the blizzard WorldStateAlwaysUpFrame thing. So moving that will automatically move Battleground, I might make an option for moving it, but I don't like to touch the whole thing too much, people will start demanding growup, growleft, freedrag and other crap. The GUI is tailored around the BG status and won't change.

I agree, if someone asks how much time is left to capture a GY, it is responsible to give the information as it can help win the battle.

You can now shift-click contested timers (the icon that is, not the text).
