    posted a message on ScrollFrame/MessageFrame
    Hey. I'm trying to find the best tool to just display several sentences of text. So instead of a long fontstring, a grouped together message box. Which widget is best for this reason?

    I'm trying the following code right now, but getting no results.

    local msgframe = CreateFrame("MessageFrame", "msgs", frame);
    msgframe:SetHeight(60); msgframe:SetWidth(100);
    msgframe:SetPoint("RIGHT", msgfont, "LEFT", 20, -20)
    msgframe:Show();

    Thanks for your help!

    posted a message on Revive WTS Addon
    There is an addon located here: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7266-WTS.html#info

    I would like to see this addon become compatible with the latest version of WoW. I'm lacking the time to heavily work with it and am looking for a good amount of help :) Even if there is anyone willing to do it themselves, feel free.

    I will compile a list of bugs and errors. To save space, I will do this here:
    http://docs.google.com/View?id=dv4mv7q_5szqwhwfd

    Hopefully this can get updated and re-organized to work with 3.2.

    Thanks,
    cralor

    Ok I will try that. But then I would have to sacrifice Blizzard's Cooldown module and maybe any other things I have not actually "re-done" or "re-created"? It's probably the only thing I can do because I'm probably messing up some Blizzard stuff.

    I'll take a look. Thanks.

    Hey. I'm having some trouble figuring out why this is occurring.

    When I use spells like Obliterate or Death Strike, the rune bar becomes this:

    It should only be creating one Death Rune.

    Here is the entirety of my code: http://pastey.net/122072

    You should probably take a look at lines 57-59 and 271-282. That is where the Death Rune creation is handled.

    Thanks for any and all help!

    One more small problem.

    Any reason why the Frost and Unholy runes might be flipped when using the "Default" Blizz rune layout? I read up on GetRuneCooldown and GetRuneType. They seem to have the numbers for Unholy and Frost runes switched. Now, I only use GetRuneType. I've tried changing the values there but that has not worked. At the same time, I only run GetRuneType when RUNE_TYPE_UPDATE fires. I'm pretty sure that would not deal with the cooldown of runes. Instead, RUNE_POWER_UPDATE covers that.

    Don't know if this code might help, but here it is: http://pastey.net/117968

    Thanks for the help guys.

    It was actually the OnUpdate script that was doing it. After taking that out and condensing it, all works fine.

    Thanks for that, arnath2.

    Why do you need the OnUpdate script? As far as I know, RUNE_POWER_UPDATE fires when they go on cooldown AND when they go off cooldown. You can just deal with both cases in that function.

    Thanks. I actually just noticed that. I'll work on fixing that.

    Also, the fact that they come back instantly could possibly be explained by death rune-related talents.

    That could be a possibility, but I've been testing on a DK that is 55 and one that is 60. They occur on both. (And the 60 has the Death Rune talent.)

    BTW, print is rather versitile by itself:

    print("R_P_U:", rune, "Useable:", usable)

    It will automatically tostring() all it's passed args, including tables and userdata.

    Thanks. Makes it a little easier.

    The second print sometimes occurs RIGHT when I use an Unholy or Frost rune. This is not suppose to occur as I JUST used that specific rune so it should not already be "ready" for use again. Oddly, this does not occur at all with the Blood runes.

    The functionality of this is to make the runes look "darker" when they are unusable. Both Unholy and Frost runes much of the time show as "usable" when they are actually not.

    I hope my explaining is understandable.

    Thanks.
