Hmmm ARL uses Crayon-3.0 not 2.0. I'll look into ARL here soon.

nQuestlog also uses Crayon-3.0, so I don't think the problem is there.
My guess is that it may have something to do with the sequence the libraries are loaded.

For the record, I'm using the libraries embedded (wowaceupdater with externals).

    Error. How to fix?

    [2008/05/04 02:24:27-25-x1]: XRS-2.2\XRS.lua:10: Cannot find a library instance of Crayon-2.0.
    ClosetGnome-1.0.68289\libs\AceLibrary\AceLibrary.lua:490: in function `AceLibrary'
    XRS-2.2\XRS.lua:10: in main chunk

I have the exact same error as you.
I did a little experimenting on enabling and disabeling addons.
Basically, it turned out that if I disabled the addon: AckisRecipeList the error disappeared.

But since I have only two ace addons that uses LibCrayon and both embeds version 3.0 of these, I tried to download nQuestLog to see what happened.
nQuestLog and XRS ran happily together and AckisRecipeList and nQuestLog ran happily together.
However, enabling all 3 or just AckisRecipeList and XRS, I got the error back from XRS.

Hope this helps to iron out the error. :)

Probably, but that's not as intuitive.
A normal user would press the browse button and then click the ok button.
A normal user wouldn't type manually in the text box, so the hit enter won't come naturally either.

So since the code I got from the old svn link doesn't contain the code that's currently in use, I can't paste you the fix.

And then again, shouldn't enter and the ok button have the exact same effect? :)

Actually, there is a bug in the updater.
If you use the browse button, the path won't save.
    How to reproduce:
Change path with browse and press the ok button.

    How to workaround:
Change path with browse, then click the path textbox and then press the ok button.
