    Hmmm.. That's weird. I can confirm this, and moreso - I can't even move the icon on my FuBar. And I have no idea why! I'll research this tomorrow - working on RaidIcon and Cast Notification support at the moment.

    Well, there are other reasons for my wanting to develop another bar library - not least of which is the learning experience and fun of doing so, but also I have other addons in mind which would require more control than I currently have.

    That said, you make your suggestion sound remarkably simple, and it would definitely help merge Sent_'s modifications into trunk quickly. Care to elucidate on exactly how I'd go about "embed[ding] a texture in the fontstring [I] send to the candybar"? :-)

    - Fixed double notification of vulnerability running out.
    - Add configuration and support code to customise target bar colours.
    - Removed all the casting notification code. It doesn't work with the current COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED way of doing things and until I can find another way of handling it, I feel that less code is better!
    - Changed duplicate event window to 0.8 seconds (down from 1.2) to hopefully cover hastened scorches.
    - Updated to LibSharedMedia-3.0

    ** In removing so much code, it's possible that things have been broken that I haven't had a chance to notice. Please let me know asap if something is working as you'd expect. Thanks!

    @Sent_ - RaidTargetIcons are something that I want to do, but there's no particularly easy way of displaying them using CandyBar-2.0, so I'm thinking they'll arrive when I write my own bar library - which I want to do to implement some other functions, such as click-to-target.

    Guys,

    Wow. You know, when I first wrote Scorchio!, I didn't think anyone would use it! About six months ago, I had a crisis and I quit Warcraft pretty much overnight, and left the mod hanging... It worked fine and I was pretty happy with it. And then along came 2.4, and I was still away from the game, and everything fell apart. I want to thank Sent, cronan and the person who mailed me a working version of the code through ingame mail, for keeping Scorchio! alive. Thanks you all.

    I'm back playing a little now, casually rather than hardcore raiding, but it means I can continue to keep an eye on Scorchio! again. I've already updated the libraries to LibSharedMedia-3.0 as -2.0 wasn't returning any available sounds any more, and, as one of the first things I saw when I looked at Sent's addition for changing target colour was "Ooh - that should be configurable!", so per the message above, I'll look at implementing that asap, and also at tidying up a couple of (cosmetic bugs) I've noticed in the last few days.

    So, I hope the community accepts my apologies for abandoning it, and Scorchio! for a while, and once again, I reiterate my thanks once to those who kept it afloat. If you can let me know exactly who added what to the version now on the SVN, I'd love to add credits to the .lua file, and if you have further additions you'd like to make, please let me know - my GMail is in the .lua too...

    The problem is that I need to localise my RegExps for tracking the spells, which I haven't yet done. (This is also the problem with the Scorchio! on the German client too, Cerelyn.) I need to look into how it works in languages that us a different character set, but I hope to be on top of this soon...

    It is on the cards - more as a sanity check than anything else. But I'm kind of dithering about doing it as 2.4 will (supposedly) bring unique mob ids, which will make all of these sorts of things much more straight forward...

    Hmmm... A quick test this morning and I couldn't reproduce this... Is anyone else experiencing it?

    Is it a consistent bug you've noticed? Does it happen when you're in raids, parties or solo, or all three? Do other people in the group have Scorchio!

    This is definitely a bug! Or, at least, it's an oversight - Scorchio! knows nothing about crossrealms at the moment.

    In the short term, you can turn off the Automatic Blacklisting, which should alleviate the spam. In the medium term, I intend to rationalise the Automatic Blacklisting process (which is currently hooked to anything changing in the raid, including the groups in which people are in, and then brutally spams all the mages, even if we already know their talent build). And in the long term, I'll try and sort the crossrealm bg handling - I don't PvP very much myself, so I'll need to investigate quite what needs to be considered first before I can tackle it.

    - Added options to independently turn off data sync for local events and AddOn messages.
    - Added option to reset anchor to center of screen
    - Tidied and fixed anchor handling code


    I think Shleepy might have been on to something, so I've firmed up the anchor handling code and added an option to reset the anchor position as suggested.

    This commit also brings the option to ignore event data received from the combat log, so, for instance, you're not spammed with scorch information picked up from CHAT_MSG_SPELL_FRIENDLYPLAYER_DAMAGE while watching people duel outside of Ironforge. I thought of a number of solutions to this issue before coming up with this one, mainly because I could see situations where you might not be in combat, but want to know the scorch stack on a mob (before you joined in, for instance)... I realise that this makes the addon slightly less intuitive, but I think it's the best solution to give users more, rather than less control.

    There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with Scorchio! after the patch - it's working fine for me as best as I can test since this morning's patch, following an update of everything using WAU2...

    Can you do the following for me:
    1. Make sure you have the Load Out Of Data Adds option selected in the addons page at the character screen. Scorchio! has had it's .toc updated to match the new patch, but it's just possible a library it relies up hasn't yet.
    2. Log in and type /scorchio - let me know if you see scorchio respond, or is the addon not loading at all?
    3. Type /scorchio output ChatFrame, go and scorch some thing, sheep it and count to 30 - does the addon output anything at all?

    These things will help me debug whether it's an issue with Scorchio! that I'm not seeing myself, or whether it's another library or similar.
