Hello!
- Would it be possible to add a clickable icon for debuffs (like from Decursive) to dispel Debuffs?
Currently I have every player twice on the UI, once from SUF, once from Decursive.
Not exactly what you are looking for but you can use a click-casting app like Clique
Then make macros for your rings and put the macros on your bars. (In the keybindings section of OPie, there is a little button with an arrow next to each ring. Click it. ;) )
Oooooh! Thanks Seerah! I Did Not Know That. (Also using Opie as my Autobar equivalent).
Pretty simple, I think LDB has come to the point that we don't need to advertise display addons on the addon pages anymore. I think it's placing unnecessary bias on displays making it harder for new displays to come through, also keeping a list of updated displays on every addon page is somewhat taedious.
Yes. I suspect that's where most people get the LDB display. They install. Wonder why it doesn't "show up". Go complain on the comments. Random person answers: "You need an LDB Display. I use Foo." User downloads Foo.
I'm not sure I would just leave it at "Use a display addon." Maybe a page on the wowace wiki or wowwiki that has the master list of LDB providers and the corresponding link to the author's preferred release site?
That way the author/helpful poster can just paste the URL to the wiki page url into their description/comment and hey-presto no unintentional display advertising.
...because you started your post with "A long time ago".
Titan has been completely overhauled and is now quite small memory-wise and vastly more efficient CPU-wise. It actually gives FuBar a run for its money in those areas now because Tristanian has put much effort into trying to get rid of the bad reputation Titan garnered with its old code.
Also, Titan is now an LDB display whereas FuBar is not.
I Did Not Know That (the overhaul part, I did know about the LDB part). I'm going to go give it a whirl.
hehe, <3 CurseClient.. My roomate is so dumb when it comes to addons and keeping them updated. I installed this for him and then set it all to automagic and he has stoped btching about his addons going all fubar on him
So I ended up using QuestGlance (for LDB). DoubleWide for the actual quest log viewing (and has the advantage of working rather well with Lightheaded which is something I had mixed results with in QuestFu and nQuestLog).
I did use nQuestLog but dumped it because of a brief flirtation with QuestHelper.
I am actually fairly fat and happy at this point. If I could find a module to do the quest announcing I would be really happy. (The first time I completed a quest and didn't get the Warcraft III "Job's Done!" I felt unaccountably cheated.)
This is what should happen: you click bear and turn into a bear. If you are already a bear nothing happens. This IS different from the Blizzard button. It is so that you can spam the key and not bear & immediately unbear which totally sucks bear fur. If you want the Blizzard behaviour, go into key binding mode, open your spell book, bind the bear key to your bear spell. Or whatever people normally do to bind the bear key. I have used AutoBar for this for years now and no longer remember.
So how do you cancel out of bear form or _____ form in the pure Autobar world?
(I am a very newb druid so I have no hard-wired expectations so it might as well be the Autobar-Zen way.)
Let me know if something is totally unclear and should be clarified
Not to resurrect an old topic here but I just got a chance to play with this functionality on a few of my characters. Absolutely frag-freaking-tastic. :-)

(Ok...just had to get that off my chest. Now I feel better.)
So SocialState looks like almost exactly like what I want (AuldLangSyne, but LDB).
One niggling thing, though, when I played with it last night I would mouse over it and get a friggin huge tool tip because it showed everyone in my guild rather than just the guild members online.

to simulate that behavior directly on SUF. That would save you some space on your UI.

Yep. Happened to me as well. I didn't see any other immediate pieces of weirdness (sorting by date).

Look at Broker Social State (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/broker_socialstate.aspx) looks more or less identical to AuldLangSyne.
There are also a number of addons that provide a non-combined view:
Samples:
Ara's Broker Guild Friends

Tekkub's Pico Addons
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9219-picoGuild.html
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9220-picoFriends.html
None of them have the friend list synching that AuldLangSyne did. I've been using FriendSync:

That would be super double-plus awesome. It needs an owner.

<3 Seerah!
Thank you!
I also played with QuestGuru based on this thread and I have to say: Very Cool.

Woot! Works! Now my fondest ambition in life has been realized. I can curse piggies with my 7 key! Warlock happiness.
Thanks much!
About to go punt my totem bar addon for my shammy. :-)

Am I missing something obvious?
