and industrial is right. just linking on another site and let other do the reading isnt very nice.

describe what you need. and why the existing addon isnt sufficient. I am not quite sure, but i think it has already been mentioned somewhere, that ACE(2|3) is not synonymous for fantastic/fast/nomemory.

readyspells (it does not show a countdown timer, but it show the icon when ready)
for countdown you can use quartz, parrot, cooldowncount

posted a message on bindings-cache.wtf specific format ?
    nvm
its solved, as far as i could see, the first space after the "bind " is allways after the key so its discernable.

posted a message on bindings-cache.wtf specific format ?
or should i define all 95 known keys and read whatever comes after ?

i rather wanted to read everything from the file instead giving it a "static translation table"

    the key i know are:

    ESC	1
    F1..F12 12
    PRINT 1
    SCROLLLOCK 1
    PAUSE 1

    ^ 1
    0..9 10
    ? 1
    ? 1
    BACKSPACE 1
    INSERT 1
    HOME 1
    PAGEUP 1
    NUMLOCK 1
    KEYPAD/ 1
    KEYPAD* 1
    KEYPAD- 1

    TAB 1
    a..z(ae,oe,ue) 29
    + 1
    # 1
    , 1
    . 1
    - 1
    < 1

    END 1
    DELETE 1
    PAGEDOWN 1
    KEYPAD0..KEYPAD9 10
    KEYPAD+ 1
    KEYPAD, 1
    KEYPADENTER 1
    RETURN 1
    <space> 1
    UP 1
    DOWN 1
    LEFT 1
    RIGHT 1

posted a message on bindings-cache.wtf specific format ?
    Hi,

i assumed the bindings-cache.wtf has the following format:

    <modifierkeys+-><key|mousebutton><SPACE><description>
    e.g.
    CTRL-ALT-L TOGGLERUN
    or
    L TOGGLERUN

meaning: only one Space exists (no space in Keyname or Description)

now I saw a bindings with this:

    F9	Smart	Bandage
    MOUSEWHEELUP	CLICK	SmartBuff_KeyButton:MOUSEWHEELUP
    F	FOCUSTARGET
    CTRL-D	DAMAGEMETERS_TOGGLESHOW
    SHIFT-?	CLICK	FOM_FeedButton:LeftButton
    CTRL-?	CLICK	FOM_FeedButton:RightButton
    CTRL-SHIFT-B	Toggle	Frame

is this WTF bugged or is my assumption wrong ? If the later is the case, who is the correct format ?

i wasnt aiming at dev-noob or dev-dev in particular. I was talking in general. And thats why it is not correct either to only name industrial in that context.

There are alot others that i thought could think about their words.

But as i said EOD for me.

I didnt say nor wanted to say that you are dumb.

But i see that, what i actually intendent, is not understood or not wanted.
Obviously everyone likes the way (some) discussions are lead here, or he would have spoken up by now.

    So just forget it.

I was just trying to tell you that people wont change normally no matter how often you tell em to search as its easier for them to just ask :)
    ...
I try to teach them by not replying anymore or telling them to use my Addon, but they still dont do it :P

I completely understand that. And since i am in computerbusiness and internet for over 20 years and have created and joined a lot of communities, i also know that this is true.

BUT, your reaction makes a difference, as you described. you reacted like an intelligent man. and not by yelling at them or insulting them.

And just because you are more or less anonymous you cant behave like you want. Because when you started it, it gets out of control very fast, because where is the line ?
Is the line when someone tells you to "shut up" or if someone says "you are a complete m*f* idiot" ? where is the end ? Or is it the difference WHO is allowed to swear, JUST BECAUSE HE ALLWAYS does so ?

It is sad that it is obviously asked to much, to respect eachother a little bit, and may it just because you HAVE something in common.

*jeez* i sound like a priest now, what i am not or want not. Just think about it.

i didnt want to point my finger at you or someone in specific.
Of course i ask stuff too, that has been answered somewhere. And I also gave harsh replies to people that are obviously too lazy to search.

I just want everyone to think about what you are writing before you press the send button. And to remember that on the receiving end are humans too.

    I am worried,

about the tone and the type of insults that are dealt out here.
I am also worried about the complete ignorance of so many people. Be it the simple use of the search button or the already available information.

So on one hand i understand when when very busy and highly gifted developers are getting mad, when they get asked the same question 10 times a week, and maybe even in the same thread.
I am also very sad when someone does something, be it a little addon or something new on this website.
And he gets brushed off with words like: "this is poorly done" or something like that. Hey, i thought we all do this, because its fun and our (very limited) freetime. And most of us doing it and still learn. (The one that can honestly say he knows all and be able to do everything in the best way exist, may show up NOW).

So all i want to say is, be nice !

To the so called "noobs": please read every available information, especially here on this board/wiki.

To the pros: please be patient with us noobs. maybe sometimes you really cant find the information, so a simple "search for this or that" is sufficient. And remember: you started too, someday back.

Sorry if this message took your time, but i just felt like saying this, since i just read something like that again.

    Yours
    Barracuda.

For everthing i experimented with, you cant setup several addons for more then one resolution.
One or the other addon will work ... the next might even completely vanish outside the screen bounderies. It completely depends on the Addon.

Pitbull for example. as much as i love it, jumps around on the screen with the slightest change of resolution or scale. And you cant even copy several pitbull configs at once. (or i missed something)
    Same goes for alot otheres.

    So its handwork.

    @adelea
that might happen when you allways use: e.g. 1024x768, windowed mode, maximized.
