    OK, i tried to keep out of that discussion, but i need to ask all, that want the old side back, why dont you just use http://files.wowace.com/latest.xml ? u have kinda the same information as in the old site ? and if you argument is, i just want to search ... well you can do that, eve, without an rss reader.

    Please respect the work and efford to make a nice, good looking and up to date site, Kaelten is doing, probably in his spare time. And dont think its there only to please you. there are THOUSANDS of people using those sites ever day.

    or when in doubt or uncertain, stick to the "old" Cartogrpaher, the Ace2 Version. There is nothing wrong with it. At least for a couple of days until the updaters get a grip on rock.

    I reccomend, at least to try to form your request in english. or specially mark your request as german in Subject so, someone could helpout in translating, even if he has no solution (just a thought)

    ~~~
    oder, wenn Du unsicher bist, bleib zunaechst bei dem alten Cartographer. Zumindest fuer ein paar Tage, bis die Updater (wau, wuu) die rock libs korrekt updaten
    Ich wuerde empfehlen zumindest zu versuch in englisch zu posten, oder deine Frage im Subjekt als "Deutsch", ... zu markieren, damit es jemand uebersetzen kann, auch wenn er keine Antwort hat, nur so als Tipp.
    It is "Norganna's Side Bar".
    It's also a very simple utility which we wished to let loose on the world. In order to allow other AddOn developers to collaborate in and contribute to it's development / widespread use, we decided a more generally accessible avenue than our SVN repository was called for.
    Quite a lot of developers (even non-WowAce ones) have accounts on the WowAce SVN server, and it's usage policy was suitable, so we felt this was the best place for this particular project to live.
    Whether more projects of the ilk may in future migrate is yet unknown. I guess we'll see.
    Auctioneer and the major AddOns developed here will continue to live on our servers however (at least for the forseeable future anyhow).
    Ah sorry, I understand you now.
    Well I can assure you, you will get a longer loading time, by switching to embedded (I dont know for instance-enter though). But you shouldnt get any recognizeable change in fps. I wont go embedded though, since i dont like the idea of having multiple different versions of one and the same lib in my folders (yes i know it doesnt matter, since WoW SHOULD allways run with the latest version)
    Thats why i experience no problems. Since i take care myself to have all the libs available, but you are right, it would be easier whe WUU would do it.
    i am confused.
    1.5.399: i use no-ext: on; delete before extract: off.
    I do have this !!!StandaloneLibraries, but successfully ignore it. (not Wuu [ignore] though)
    What I am trying to say. i have no problem at all. everything runs fine. (O.K. i installed ROCK, by choosing it from the wowace-install options) but besides that, ...
    i experienced a complete screwed addon folder one day. I rolled back into my backup and did it again and it worked fine.
    I tried to find out what caused it, and the only thing that i saw that it was at the same time as the wowace.com did some updates, page wasnt available for a few seconds, and a lot of addons have been repacked. So my conclusion was that it must have been BIG bad luck.
