If your on the EU servers, can you use the EN-US database?

if not does anyone have a link to some English EU database?

en-us is fine for eu servers, when they are english, e.g. "enGB"

(the only thing missing currently is the addon identification when you right-click [Unknown]s)

does this also explain the effect i get: when i change an UNKKNOWN Addon to "curse" it stays unknown ?
But when i click on edit again the curse entry is there, but doesnt show in the list ! ?

    * Updated [Unknown] addon identification (uses WoWAce before anything else)

for me it even puts WoWAce in, in case it is unknown to the masterdb.
e.g: "Armory" seems to be not known, but it switches to WoWAce instead of stick to unknown.

Oh I am very sorry for you.

And maybe WUU is one of the lesser important stuff you lost (thinking of all the data on mine), so I hope it turns out fine for you and take your time. Feeling with you.

Why is Directoryname and Friendlyname the same on every Addon ?

    E.g.:
    ItemBonusLib ItemBonusLib

    Instead:
    ItemBonusLib Lib:ItemBonusLib

    ?

    Hello,

first off, i am sorry, i would have had to thank you for your work at first, since i am looking for an "Addon-Manager" for a long time. I dont mean Addon updater, but a thing to handle the Addons and depenedencies for different characters.

So i just dump my ideas and thoughts for your tool here, just deny it, if it doesnt fit your ideas.

    * chance to switch from "Fancy-Design-Mode" to "Performance-Mode" where no grafix are shown, but only the content and e.g. not 8 Addons, but like 60 (as in WUU) on a screen.

    * Are you planning to read/handle SV in any way, apart from uploading CP ?

    Hi,

as much as I hate this "are you sure you want to do this or that" you programm could be a little more informative about when its deleting stuff. It screw up my Addons Folder and changed embedded, without even telling me. (No problem for me, since i have regular backups and can easily recover with WUU too.)

So a "Beginners" Button where you get told "Attention, dont press this button again, else ..." would be nice.

I like the way you picture the dependencies, but all the other grafick (as pretty as it may be) takes too much room and i end up in an addon list, where i can see 9 addons at a time ... this ist too less.

But this is purely taste, and cannot be discussed, its _your_ programm and your design.

    Lejordet,

are you accepting wishes still ?

    * After One-Button now worksreliable for me, i would like to have the chance to start WUU with a commandline of one-button-update and then quit itself again, preferably running minimized.

    * Is there a chance to be able to hide the Libraries or "secondary"-Addons, the same way as Outdated and ignored ones can be hidden ? (even if this means, i would have to mark them by hand )
maybe its a first step to be able to Show/Hide any "site" not only [outdated], [related], ... since you are going to implement the ext/onext stuff anyways.

    * Are you thinking about an option to show which addon is ENABLED for what Accoutn/Char ?

    * Another Idea is to parse reverse dependencies and make an advice, if one Addon is NOT used by another, so it can be deleted (if it has been marked as Lib or Secondary) - and to see if this addon is used by any other addon ?

I can imagine, you have lots to do, but since its soon Christmas, I felt like placing a wish ;-)

    Ciao,
    Barracuda

    No.

Im having a problem. Every time I try to add the new databaese, it deletes the old one, but when I log into wow, it deletes the new database and replaces it with a fresh one.

aha ... well i think you lost me here, sorry, I cant help you, maybe someone understood you. What would really help is an exact description, which files (path/filename/content) you copy where and what it becomes after you do what ... anyways, I'm sorry, good luck.

I could decompile the code and upload it but I don't want to step on cfish's toes or anything. I do have all the code to host it on another server tho.

not sure, i dont think this is correct.
Anyways the site is gone, you would need a copy of the files.

    @Tatia
this has nothing to do with the data. If you want the stuff removed you could get the database files and remove them with a texteditor.
