    for german deDE

"Trommeln der Schlacht" = Drums of Battle
"Trommeln des Krieges" = Drums of War
"Trommeln der Wiederherstellung" = Drums of Restoration
"Trommeln des Tempos" = Drums of Speed

Little problem with the Raidtarget images... blizzard seemed to have localized them. {star} or {rt1} is plantext on the german client. {sz1} .. {sz8} are the 'german' symbols.

Thanks, I've already received a few German translations and will be implementing them soon :)

Also noted your comment about the icons in German.

    I wrote it using Ace3 and LibBars-1.0...

I join the addon in case you want use some thing

edit: The bars show the time remaining on the buff _and_ the cooldown for the drum.
edit2: to be more explicit as all words are in french and not localized.

When you are in a group, you can select the guy which have to use its drum after you. So when your drum fade, you got a message like
    [party][foo]: Drum of battle fade
    [party][foo]: bar it's your turn !

Thanks, I'll take a look at it and see what I can use, while maintaining my main goal to keep it as simple and lightweight as possible (as the name implies) :)

    Thanks. :)

Also, they seem to be changing the number to avoid this mod and others like it. I can see in the BadBoy.lua you already blocked <>

Could it be time to simply block <>

Yea it's what I was asking. It messes up your shot rotations?

Wouldn't trying to get used to +80 haste rating shot rotation work out as a benefit though, our hunters use the haste drums afaik.

Anyway, I'll put in an option to enable/disable announces and timeouts for all drums soon :)

Drums of War really need a timeout warning too :)

This is where I'm really unconvinced. Can you give me a reason why it would be useful? :)

In every case Drums of Battle are superior to Drums of War, so you'll be rotating DoB instead of DoW. If you have 5 leatherworkers in party, 1 guy will be doing DoW everytime his cooldown is up, no need for a timeout warning for that?

Could you also reduce the anouncement to one line, and not two please. edited the lua but it will be reverted whenever there is an update.

Well, 2 is more visible to separate it from any other party text.

In any case, as soon as I get more time I'll be adding a config where you can enable/disable everything :)

hi.. it is posible to disable the running out msg?

Sure, I'll see what I can do.

    Quote from Buio »

Last raid melee group had 5 drummers, so 1 used Drums of War instead on his own cycle.

While I don't necessarily see the point in announcing a drum that's not being used in a rotation (basically that person uses whenever they can), I'll be adding it due to several people requesting this (on curse/wowint). There will be announces, but no time out announces for those (unless further requests).

    Quote from Buio »

Also I'd prefer somewhat simpler markers, but I can edit that myself I guess.

    Sort of
+++ Drums of Battle Used! +++
--- Drums of Battle Out in 2s! ---

I've changed the text a bit (since I'm adding more drums), but I'll be keeping the icons since they're good visual queues to what's going on (Skull = something has just run out).

I don't know if its related to BadBoy, but might be. When I report some spammer manually by right-clicking, the name it says I reported (the result text) is not the name I did report. I double checked so I did not click wrong.

I use Chatter as chat mod.

Tired of having to explain to people how to set up their drum macros? Want a "set and forget" solution? I made SimpleDrumAnnounce to assist with drum rotations in my guild.

    Description:

SimpleDrumAnnounce is a lightweight WoW addon that announces in party when you use drums and warns again 2 seconds before the drum buff expires.

The purpose of this is to keep up drum rotations with ease.

    Features:

    Wiki: http://www.wowace.com/wiki/SimpleDrumAnnounce
    Changelog: http://fish.wowace.com/changelog/WowAce/trunk/SimpleDrumAnnounce

    • Works always, regardless of how you activate your drums (from bags, from a shortcut on your UI, from a consumables mod).
    • Warns 2 seconds before the buff expires so the next person in the rotation gets ready.
    • Does not spam if you mash your drums button in contrast to a macro button.
    • Does not waste a macro slot.
    • No config, just install and forget it's there. No need for every leatherworker in your raid to be told how to make a macro.
    • Clear visible markings for when you use drums (battle = orange circle, war = yellow star, restoration = green triangle, speed = pink diamond) and when Drums of Battle are about to expire (skull icon).
    • Very lightweight/small addon.

    Updates:

    • v1.23 French localization.
    • v1.22 Spanish localization.
    • v1.21 Chinese localization.
    • v1.2 German and Korean localization.
    • v1.1 now supports: Drums of Battle, War, Restoration, Speed. Timeout warning only for Drums of Battle for the time being.

    Screenshot:

    Planned:

    • Options panel to enable/disable specific announcements/timeout warnings.
    • Italian localization (PM or post here if you want to help)

    Requests/ideas/questions:

Feel free to add any here ;)

Hi there, I've recently migrated to this from WAU and there's a few features I'm missing:

-Delete to recycle bin when updating option.
-Possibility to save backups zips to a special directory rather than root

Also it seems to add "noext" and "version-#####.#" to every addon folder, why is this necessary compared to WAU?

Otherwise great work, nice going :)
