I think it would be very useful to have a mod that allows a player to plan a list of dailies and track completion of them. It would be nice if the planner had a list of the possible dailies. This would help people who have not yet found them to at least get a start on their search.

I'm tired and not expressing this very well, but I think you will get the gist... =P

    3) The Thing you "PAY" for in the curse client is the ability to have a 1 click cures all button for updating your mods.

Lastly with regards to WoWMatrix, i hope you like dealing with dishonest, arrogant theives, because that's what's on your computer.

Generally speaking, if one pays for something, one expects it to work. At the moment it doesn't. And hasn't, since I started using it. I'm not being argumentative. You are trying to support your argument, and you are definitely on the "this is GOOD stuff" side of it.

I'm purely pragmatic. All the assurances aside, it doesn't work. It doesn't work differently than WAU, it simply doesn't work. And hasn't for over two months.

I work in software. It's what I do, and I support a 24x365 operation where a single minute of downtime gets people's heads chopped off. The curse staff not only "know" how their site and svn are laid out, they built it. If they aren't "wise" or adept enough to figure out a scheme under which to build an updater, perhaps they shouldn't try.

The gyrations they are going through are specifically to prevent other updaters from working on their site. Fair enough. They are "paying" for the bandwidth via advertising. If they are going to prevent anyone else from using their site, the least they could do is make sure that their own customers can.

As for the "dishonest" stuff, I think you are probably right. But, as far as I can tell, the only differences between them and Curse at the moment is that Curse is not yet making me pay for software that doesn't work, and WoWMatrix actually does work.

Really wouldn't much matter, anyway. It doesn't update addons based on version reliably on Windows. I've about given up on it.
