It would seem to me that if 'Disable while hidden' is checked and the window is hidden and no data is recorded, then...it's doing what it's supposed to?
Heya, I love Skada as assessment was my favorite damage meter mod of all time.
I was wondering, is there a way to see what each ability hit/crit(s) for?
If you click on your bar for either damage or DPS, it'll show you your abilities. You can click on the ability to drill down further to show your totals for hits and crits.
Is there a way to pause skada while in a raid environment? I couldn't find anything. I am hoping there is as I like this much more than recount, but I hate logging out to disable a mod during 25 man raids (dmg meters tend to beat the crap out of my system during them)
Maybe check 'Disable while hidden' in the option and then hide the window? That seems to stop it from collecting data for me. (Although it's also possible that I don't pay close enough attention.)
Using r20090314053213, I'm getting the following error when I see a rare. (I think it's the same error that I have been getting, but this is the first time I've had time to copy it.) I use HandyNotes (which I guess is obvious from the location of the error).

r147 - When I right-click on the LDB icon and choose Skada > Switch to Segment > Total, I get the following error:

Actually, after playing with it more, it seems to happen when I choose anything out of the Skada part of the right-click menu.
It's a little iffy with Fortress for sure. It seems to come and go. I wanted to fiddle a bit more before reporting it, to see if I could notice a pattern.
You are totally right. Trying to click on a moving button would be kinda new game in the game. :)
...and I'm sure it would become a daily for some obscure faction somewhere. Upon reaching exalted, you would get a vanity pet mole that randomly popped up out of the ground around you and some sort of title.
Hrm, I tend to almost always check an addon out, if it has an interesting name. xD Kind of like a "wth is this" factor.
Maybe I'm just the odd man out by actually searching for things by category. >.>
This is actually my way of finding addons too. I check out what's in the category by last update (usually start on WoWI nowadays), and anything with an interesting name at least gets a screenie check. I browse threads on here to see if anything new and interesting is out, and the catchy names get looked at first.
I'm also one of those people that if there is not a screenie, I'm probably not going to check it out. This doesn't apply to addons where a screenie would be pointless (most of Tek's mods come to mind).
It doesn't seem to scale well for me, or the fonts aren't being reskinned by Tektickles. I'm not sure which, just that it wasn't an issue before the last update. ;) I'm running at 1280x1024 with the UI Scale set all the way to low. This is from v46-beta.
I just noticed the 'use dog tags' option today. I unticked it since I don't use any dog tags options. The result, after reloading my UI, is that the upper text alpha is displaying as 100% on player health and mana. I checked the options, and the option to lock upper text alpha is not selected for player health or player mana.
I also noticed that the lower player health text and lower target mana/energy/rage/etc text are using 'Text' for colors rather than PlayerHealth or TargetRage/TargetMana/TargetEnergy. The lower text for Player mana/health/energy and target health are fine.
Cellular's last update was 11-10-2008. I'm never sure why people think frequent updates = good mod. If a mod has the author's intended feature set and works, there's no need for updates unless it breaks.
At any rate, just use what works best for you or suits your level of update neediness. :)
