I'm not bothered by the false positive so much (last one was a level 70 warlock, posting an item link with the word "cheaper" in it), but I'm curious why the item links are in their code and not showing up as simply links.
A message from a level 70 unguilded character, including an itemlink, would have to contain at least 3 blacklisted terms to be marked as spam. =)
As for messed-up itemlinks in reports: this is a result of stripping all non-alfanumeric characters from the message. I'll fix this in the next release.
I have a problem with SpamSentry as it filters out regular sale spam from the Trade channel seemingly at random
We meet once more Cordelia =) This particular message got caught because it contained 2 blacklisted words: "cheap" and "buy". By itself this would mark the message suspicious, but there are other factors taken into account: e.g. the message contains itemlinks, which gives it some bonuspoints. Keyfactor must have been the level of the character, which was very likely very low.
I'm sorry for the false positive, but this particular one is very hard to fight. Lowlevel (bank)characters selling items are almost impossible to distinguish from goldsellers.
A nice mod, a lightweight mod similar to WIM if I'm correct =) I will add Cellular to my todo list.
Other mods on my todo list are:
- Eloquence
- WIM (waiting for an update of it from the author)
Features currently being tested:
- Automated ignore functionality to block text-balloons from showing. This existed before but was disfunctional since the Ace2 port.
I'd love for these two mods to be interoperable :)
I'd love that as well Alcaras. Unfortunately the WIM author currently doesn't have time to update his mod, while the mod does have some tainting issues. As soon as they are fixed I'll add a module to make these 2 mods compatible once more.
Ok, the mod had some startup-issues. Things I hadn't foreseen (learn-2-read documentation). And some issues that didn't show during the past 2 weeks of testing. I just updated the SVN with a new hotfix, hopefully the last for a while now.
Thank you all for the kind feedback!
If you'd like to keep posted: I'll be logging major updates/changes in the first post of this topic.
Proudly announcing a full rewrite of my mod SpamSentry. To summarise: this mod blocks goldspam messages from showing, and gives 1 click access to auto-generated GM-reports.
Over the past few weeks I did a full rewrite of this mod to let it make full use of the possibilities of Ace2. It's available now from SVN. Feel free to post remarks, suggestions, etc.
Updates:
20070501 - Updated filters, added no-reply text to tickets. Customisable counters for Titan / FuBar.
20070417 - Fixed multimessage detection to work as intended. Updated filters and localisations.
20070410 - Added zhTW translations. Added RP-name reporting. Added option to autoclear the reportlist. Tweaked filters.
20070328 - Added support for WIM, Cellular and ForgottenChat. Using server date/time for reports.

I think I got the externals configured correctly, but I can be wrong. I'm not exactly an SVN guru. Maybe someone who is can shine a light on this?
