    solution for this problem:

    if bagslot == BANK_CONTAINER then
     MyTooltip:SetInventoryItem("player", BankButtonIDToInvSlotID(slotnumber, nil));
    elseif bagslot == KEYRING_CONTAINER then
     MyTooltip:SetInventoryItem("player", KeyRingButtonIDToInvSlotID(slotnumber));
    else
     MyTooltip:SetBagItem(self.Bag, self.Slot)		
    end

    hi there.

    since patch 3.3 my scanning tooltip doesn't work when i use it to get infos about items within the default bank slots or the keybag (bagslots -1 and -2) but works with every other bag.

    i create my tooltip (with lua only)
    	
    CreateFrame('GameTooltip', 'MyTooltip')
    MyTooltip:SetOwner(WorldFrame, "ANCHOR_NONE")
    MyTooltip:AddFontStrings(
     MyTooltip:CreateFontString( "$parentTextLeft1", nil, "GameTooltipText" ),
     MyTooltip:CreateFontString( "$parentTextRight1", nil, "GameTooltipText" )
    )

    then i reset/set the tooltip when i need the info with
    MyTooltip:ClearLines()
    MyTooltip:SetBagItem(bagslot, slotnumber)

    and loop through it.

    something must obviously have changed with the last patch but i can't figure out what.
