    I'm using this UI for quite some time now. Of course there are times when I feel the need to change it, but I always end up whit this layout. I fiddle a bit with the look of the unit frames, try out some new addons, might even replace some, but the basic layout somehow never changes. I use it on both of my chars (Disc Priest and Feral Druid) for healing, dps and tanking.

    Anyway, here goes:

    (Grid2 on my priest, Grid on my alts, since Grid2 doesn't support different profiles in any way yet) Oddly enough, Grid2 shows a blue border for the Weakened Soul debuff after every relog or /reload ui, though it's set to a light red in the options <shrug>

    So far the only thing that bothers me (a bit) is the buff / debuff layout. It's the standard Blizzard Frames, modified with rBuff (shamelessly copied from Roth, I hope he doesn't mind).

    But as you can see on the raid screenshot already (click here for a closer and more bothering view) the debuff(s) are a flaw. So far I didn't find a way to maybe remove the debuffs from showing at all (showing them beneath my player frame will do for me), or change the layout, so that no more than 2 rows are used for buffs (yes, I could increase the size of my minimap, but it's called MINImap for a reason, aye?). And I don't want to use SBF or Buffalo plus ButtoFacade because I want to keep the memory usage of my UI even in raids at about 20MB.

    I know I could probably save a lot of memory usage if I only knew better how to use and modify lua code, but I can't (finally managed to adjust the position of the rbuff frames and changed the DBM look thanks to this forum). And I don't want to spend my little time studying that :rolleyes:

    Layout Editor, choose your layout - select aura - buff (or debuff) layout, scroll down and play with the width and row values.

    Right, I installed my UI from the scratch. oRa3 works on my priest (main) with Pitbull4 and everything else I have enabled... but as soon as I switch to one of my 2 alts, it screws up Pitbull4, Sexymap and StatBlock. No idea why, but as soon as I disable it on my alts, everything works fine.

    Running smoothly on my main though <shrug>

    I tested it a bit. Even if I have only oRa3 and e.g. Pitbull4 enabled on my Druid, none of them is working. oRa3 is not showing up in the Raid options, and /pitbull gives me "Type /help for a listing of a few commands" though the Pitbull Unitframes are showing as they should, and working correctly even in combat.

    On my hunter I can access oRa3 in the raid options, but again... no /pitbull config showing up, but pitbull itself works. Rest is screwed as it is on my druid (especially SexyMap and StatBlock). Same goes for my little troll banker as soon as I enable oRa3. Be it only with Pitbull, only with SexyMap (looking like a mixture between my usual layout and the standard minimap from Blizzard), or only with StatBlock enabled as well. This is frustrating.

    Any ideas? I'm really clueless, since it still appears to be a problem after installing my from the scratch, and only on every char bar my main... doesn't oRa3 like alts? ;)

    Here's a screenshot of the addons used. Grid /Grid2 changes (Grid2 only gets used on my priest, Pitbull 4 varies with ComboPoints and HappinessIcon, depending if I play my druid or the hunter). Everything else is enabled on all 3 chars.

    Is anyone else having problems, using pitbull4 and ora3? As soon as I install ora3 I can't access the Pitbull4 config anymore, and some other addons screw up as well. Works all well when I remove ora3 again...

    Oh, one more thing: On the older version of grid I used "GridStatusLifebloom". It had an option to sorta show the health bar as a cooldown bar to see the duration of the actual Lifebloom on the target. How high (or low) are the chances this will be added again? ;)

    Excellent work!

    I tried Grid2 and Grid simultaneously during a heroic to set Grid2 up the way I'm used to. Everything is working as intended. There is only one thing that is bugging: I set the name color to change to red on aggro. This works, but when I log on again or do a /reloadui, it always shows it white. I have to get to the status - threat - and click on the color icon once to make the name color go red on aggro again. But that's just a minor issue really.

    Anyway, thanks for this really great upgrade!

    Using this for a long time now. I am still pleased with it and don't feel the need to fiddle around. Though... I changed the SexyMap layout to a simple square with the Roth Border.

    That would be very handy indeed. Especially for Death Knights and their rune based abilities. Lots of stuff showing that isn't of any interest for me, and I can't prevent them from showing up ;) Some sort of "Ignore this spell / ability / cooldown" would help a lot here.

    Well yes I'm stupid. Heatsink looks like going crazy on Death Knights because of the 3 different sorts of runes that are used single or in different combinations for certain abilities and spells. And every rune has a 10 second cooldown. But some Death Knight abilities and spells don't have a cooldown at all since they only rely on runes being off their cooldown. So it's kinda working as intended (apart from Presences remaining with 0.0 seconds) and makes perfectly sense.

    But - would there be a chance to get an option that would prevent every Death Knight ability from showing up on Heatsink that just uses a Rune but doesn't have a cooldown at all? Most of us use a rune display which helps to see what spells or abilities can be used. That would help a lot really :)

    I don't have the emphasis bars showing. Just using the standard cooldown bars that Heatsink provides (I love this mod btw) :)

    How can I find that out? I'd like to help as much as I can here.

    Edit: just used Blood Strike in combat. It randomly added coldowns for different spells that even had different lengths each time. At other times it didn't trigger anything (which should be correct).

    Edit2: Ok... this randomly seeming behavior is also noticable when I have the spellbook open. Might have something to do with the different runes that are used in different combinations for some spells. Still, Blood or Frost Presence shouldn't stay on the cooldown bars with 0.0 seconds ;)

    This is not exactly what I meant, but when I use abilities like Death Strike, Obliterate and sometimes even Plague Strike or Blood Strike, it triggers cooldowns that are in no way related to these spells. Sometimes even Pestilence or Strangulate (which - sadly - don't show on the screenshots, but it really happens) or even Frost Presence which I didn't even use for hours and which actually has a 1 second cooldown... but see for yourself what happend after using Death Strike or Obliterate.

    The cooldown time differs each trime. Usually something between 2-5 seconds <shrug>


    I haven't used Bone Shield or Death & Decay or Death Gate...



    ...nor Pestilence or Frost Presence here


    Edit: just happened after I used Death & Decay as well <shrug>
