    Andale: the "ghost bars" problem in the previous version has not reoccured yet. So good work! :D

    One question -- I'd post a ticket if I knew it wasn't me being dense.

    Is it... not possible now to enter custom dog tags? The text area is grey and I can't click in it, and none of the dropdowns appear to be labeled "Custom".


    It's killing me to not be able to reproduce my old setup.

    It's more than a bit counterintuitive about how to make a bar horizontal however, relative to other huds =).


    However, I too really dislike the inability to turn off the border.

    I'm still having the issues I PM'd you about, with transparent but clickable frames that catch the mouse. I guess you're thinking it won't show up in 2.0? :)


    Also:

    Underhood cannot show combo points properly on Malygos. Then again, neither can *any* mod I've found (including stand-alone combo point frames), so you're not alone!

    I'm not sure what's wrong but god would it be awesome if it were fixed. (I don't need to see them, but some may, and I'm filming it next week so I'd like them visible if possible)

    The good news is you don't have to engage Malygos to see the problem: there's a quest you can get at level 80 in Coldarra. You go to the shield area, talk to Librarian Serra, and she sends you to talk to Corastrasza, who offers you "Aces High!" which is identical mechanics to the dragon-controlling on Malygos.

    If you can get combo points to work there, they'll work on Malygos.

    I was playing around with the opacity, and if I dropped the opacity, the minimap in org became blank (although it would show up properly when I went to Durotaur.) Border still there, just the actual map area was black.


    Also, feature request:

    It would be nice to have the option for it to pop to full opacity on mouse-over.

    I would love to set it to almost completely transparent (since group dots still show up properly) until I moused over the area.

    Same problem: it is always visible, regardless of whether I am possessing or not.

    Settings are (for bar 1):

    General Settings:
    Enabled

    Visibility
    Use Custom Condition: bonusbar:5]show;hide


    I tried reloading my UI and relogging both, in case that kicked it into action.

    I'm testing with the "Control the dragon" daily in Colderra, which, with the default UI, replaces bar 1 with a possession bar (and with BT4 also, except I can't get the hiding-when-not-possessing behavior to work.)

    It seems like this should be possible from conditionals, but I'm not sure if I'm running into a bug with the conditionals, a lack of understanding on my part, or that this just isn't possible.

    I would like to hide a bar *unless* I'm possessing something (i.e. using a vehicle in Wrath.) I don't like seeing most of my action bars, and I'm frustrated that Wrath basically requires me to have one visible at all times.

    I tried setting the conditional to the following, but it just left the bar visible at all times:

    (I find the announcement of who is up next in 30 seconds to be needless and confusing spam. It's not useful information to any of us, we just need to know when it's our turn.)

    I'm not sure if this fixes the falloff bug, but the problem is that your last 'tick' to full is like twice as big as your entire bar, and red.

    (edit) and it turns out that is incorrect. The bug appears to have something to do with going into combat.


    I agree with the other comments: I want my UI symmetrical, and I have my own health on one side and my mana on the other. I want to be able to have my losses always fall towards the center of my screen and my gains all come in from the outside (or vice versa.) Having it always fall off right is unpleasant.


    Also I totally agree that having preset bars that can't be mouse-scrolled in smaller increments is frustrating when trying to align. I wish I could point you to how it's done in other addons, but the semi-standard of having the slider move in 5/10 increments and a mousewheel scroll move it in 1 is ideal.

    I since deleted it, but it was a line like (all on one line of course):

    It cut off in the middle of "Greater Blessing of Kings."

    I solved my problem by deciding I didn't care if I have 10 minute versions of Wis and Kings, only Salv, so I check both for Salv and just the 30-minute names for kings and wis.



    Also just another note after raiding with the new mhud last night on a raid:

    The fact that I still cannot get a raid symbol attached to my target's health bar in any way means I still have to keep an agUF target unit frame around and in a prominent place on my UI.

    Dogtags can't do that for me (like they can replace auras) because I need the symbols (my brain wouldn't make the translation fast enough to have "Y" in yellow for star, for example.)


    Aside from that absolutely no issues. It took me a while to wrap my head around how the configuration worked, and I still have no clue how to replicate the old "falloff" that I liked so much (and the current method, in default, confused me because it made me see a red dot where my HP *used* to be so I thought I was still low due to low alpha settings on my bars, so I'm turning it off for tonight.)

    Attached is a SS from mid-archimonde with what I ran with last night. I really really love mHUD =).

    Err, I was editing it in emacs. The problem was that I you literally could not paste in that much text, it hit a length limit.

    Unless you were talking about the editing, in which case I was clear: it was fixing minor typos/changes, not "figuring out the dogtag". Specifically I was editing what shorthands I wanted to use for various text strings since I changed my mind after first inputting them (via copy paste yes). But if it's impossible, it's impossible and that's fine. I was just also bugreporting on usage issues as well, not just actual code bugs.

    Apologies if this bug hasn't been reported (or if this isn't finished) but I didn't see it in the pages prior:

    Attempting to remove your target's power bar doesn't work. It prompts for removal, but then never removes it. Reloading UI doesn't make a difference. (edit) apparently this is still the bug for all versions where you can't remove bars. So never mind, I just moved it offscreen for now.



    (edit) I'd also kill for larger dogtag editing boxes just to reduce the scrolling while fixing typos. Ideally move the font color to the next line and let the dogtag span the two columns if possible.


    (edit) Also could you increase the maximum length for the DogTag for text boxes?


    This is a fabulous addon.

    This is very very nicely put together, I was quite surprised. I'd given up on HUD's because I couldn't find one configurable enough with a texture I liked that also included threat information.

    The "fallaway" effect was surprisingly useful, and I think will really help me notice mana/life loss (and heals!) on raids (I'm a warlock, this is important information to me.)


    Suggestion though:

    Could you make it so people could add textures without having to copy them into the folder? Have a text box where you can type in the path to a texture, that way my new texture and the configuration for it survive an update of your mod.
