    I've tried dragging the frames around and setting their position in the config tool, but my Player, Player's Pet, Target and Target's Target frames keep moving a few dozen pixels upwards and inwards everytime I reload the game. If I change the values of the position in the config tool by a single pixel, they reset to the correct positions (or rather, off by one pixel until I change it back).

    I really can't make heads or tails of the issue. I've also made sure to enable the Lock after getting the frames where I want them, but they still move around on me. Any ideas?

    Melee frame isn't in my fubar where I have space to spare.
    Yeah... I guess I could look into adding Weapon Speed, but I'm not going to try to convert either of those to their equivalent Haste ratings.

    SnD/Mongoose both affect Attack Speed, not Haste rating. That's why the changes aren't reflected. I could change it to show the equivalent Haste bonuses, but I feel this is beyond the scope of the addon. I suppose I could add an option to track Attack Speed, but that seems somewhat silly.

    Melee Frame already handles that kind of stuff.

    Thanks for the quick fix.

    How about to add abbreviate names, like AP=Attack Power CC=Crit Change or something like that?
    Maybe an option to turn the names off, to not show in FuBar?

    Because if i have it to show 2 or 3 stats (some people maybe more), it pretty much would need a whole bar to show them.

    Just a suggestion, you decide. :P

    Thanks again in advance.

    Edit: Further testing showed me that in Haste it doesn't count Rogue abilities like Slice and Dice and/or Blade Flurry neither Mongoose (enchant) haste proc on weapons, although it does count trinket procs like that from Dragonspine Trophy.

    I thought about the abbreviations and have already added an option to hide the labels via the SVN. I'll work on actual abbreviations instead of just omitting the name. I'm not sure what to do about Slice and Dice/Mongoose. I would assume they would apply some sort of aura or buff or something that I would catch and update the stats. I'll look into it.

    Nice addon, was looking for someting as simple as that. :D

    I noticed though that it doesn't count the gain from defense rating i have on gear. It shows only base defense.

    Thanks, and keep it up.
    Had the same problem with Melee and Ranged Attack Power, I forgot Defense did the same thing (returned 3 values and I'm only grabbing one.)

    Updated files are up at: http://code.google.com/p/gandochmods/

    Or you can download the .zip //gandochmods.googlecode.com/files/FuBar_StatsFu.zip"" target="" data-ensure-absolute>directly.

    Thanks for the bug reports, everyone. It's really helping out.

    Attack Power fixed (for ranged and melee), I forgot it returned three values and I was no longer summing them. Whoops.

    some small issues in playing with it:

    IN the melee stats, Attack power is only showing AP derived from raw stats, not AP that comes from items with a flat +AP or buffs like Blessing of Might.

    Also, according to Statsfu I have 263% chance to hit when I have 263 hit rating. I suspect this is inaccurate :P.

    I've been looking for an addon like this for a long time so hope you get it all purdied up!
    Hit chance/hit rating have been fixed. Forgot to change the call after changing the format when I decided to display the percentage instead of the rating.

    I'll see what I can do with AP. Besides my Warlock I have no character over level 18, so I was a little ill equipped to test melee gear and buffs.

    I thought it was displaying the same information that was on the character sheet, which is what I intended. I guess I'll have to snag my brother's character for a bit and find a Pally.

    Gandoch take a look at stat logic lib.
    I guess I will.

    Everything seems to be working now, the forum proved invaluable.

    My first AddOn.
    My first Lua project.

    I have a feeling there's room for a lot of improvement, but so far I haven't run into any issues. (Note: Being a C programmer and being amazingly unfamiliar with C++ I have no clue what I'm doing with scopes, this is my primary concern as far as silly mistakes goes.)

    StatsFu is the only thing up there at the moment. If anybody would like to give me some feedback, I wouldn't mind.

    Basically had to change the fundamentals of my entire approach, but your suggestion worked perfectly. I got a ton of stuff done tonight. I'll have to learn how to use AceDB for profiling (or the Rock equivalent?) and I'm sure that'll change how I'm tracking a lot of things, but... I went from having an something that threw Dewdrop errors to having an Addon that displays whatever I tell it to display.

    As far as I'm concerned, I'm moving in the right direction.

    So I'm writing my first Addon...

    I know a lot of people have said not to make your first Addon using a framework, but since what I want needs to be displayed on FuBar, I'm at a bit of an impasse. For all intents and purposes I got it working how I'd like (see: doing just one thing for me and very inflexibly), but I figured I'd like to take a stab at making it useful for others and blah blah I'll get to the point.

    The purpose of the Addon is to display a selected character sheet stat (or stats) on FuBar. Think an ItemBonusesFu that counts the player's buffs instead of just gear.

    In one of my options menus I have the following
    strength = {
     type = 'toggle',
     name = "Strength",
     desc = "Beefiness",
     get = "GetStat",
     set = "SetStat",
    }

    I would like to use an array to determine which stats are tracked (1 for true, 0 for false, index 0 for strength, index 1 for agi, and so on). I wrote the functions
    function StatsFu:GetStat(n)
     return self.stats[n]
    end

    function StatsFu:SetStat(n)
     self.stats[n] = not self.stats[n]
     if(self.stats[n]) then self.tracked = self.tracked + 1
     else self.tracked = self.tracked - 1 end
    end

    Obviously I need (and designed with the intent) to pass a parameter from
    get = "GetStat",
    set = "SetStat",

    The problem is that I haven't found a way to do so. I tried the obvious
    get = GetStat(0)
    but this doesn't work. Perhaps it can't be done at all, I haven't found what I'm looking for in any documentation to tell me one way or the other (which is quite possibly my own shortcoming), but looking at a lot of other FuBar plugins I haven't seen it done, so I'm beginning to think I should just write a bunch of short functions for each stat, but this seems tedious and messy.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Edit: Initial problems solved thanks to OrionShock, hopefully there aren't too many more issues.
