Picked up Ellipsis, pMinimap, LynStats, and a modified oUF_Lyn. Ditched StatBlocks for StatBlockCore and various LDB plugins. Ditched kgPanels for a quick custom jobby.
Moved the Ellipsis timer bar to be just above its cool down bar, got rid of CoolDownButtons, have to find a new place for BigWigs timers.
UI memory usage is down from ~25MBs to ~16MBs. I'm currently torn/stuck regarding debuffs on my target frame. I grow debuffs upwards, but I reserve one row for buffs. The problem is it looks silly when the target has no buffs, but with the frames at the bottom edge of my screen I can't put buffs on the underside of the frame or anything like that.
I tried checking for buffs and then changing the anchoring of the debuff frame based on that, but it doesn't check when buffs/debuffs change. If anyone has any elegant solutions or thinks I'm missing something or thinks I should just ditch showing buffs on the target frame altogether, feel free to share your thoughts/opinions.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that the 1680x1050 screenshot is probably of a 1680x1050 game environment.Quote from Valtharis »
Very nice UI. Looks very good. But for me its a lil bit to minimalistic. for what resolution is it? cant see it.

I show it because it isn't static. Stacks of Darkmoon Card: Crusade, Wrath of Air Totem, Divine Spirit, Band of the Eternal Sage, Eye of Magtheridon/Icon of the Silver Crescent/Hex Shrunken Head/Skull of Gul'dan... need I go on? Seeing my spell dmg at a glance also provides a nice "comfort check" for making sure I have the right gear on. I don't need to see my spell dmg. I know what it is. However, seeing the number lets me know that it's correct.Quote from Elarenda »
It's called, Laziness ;)
Well, it's easier to just see it without opening the Character Info window. Since it also shows stuff you don't want to see (ie. you're looking for your melee attack speed and see all your melee related stuff which you really don't want to see) and takes up screen space :O
To each their own.
May 24, 2008Possible Bug?Posted in: General AddOns
I've set my Hearthstone and Frostwolf Battle Standard to be hidden. The buttons aren't created and everything is fine in that regard. However, when the cooldown for either of those items finishes they spam their notification infinitely.
I haven't done a lot of testing yet, but so far it seems to only be affecting the items I set to be hidden and through the Parrot notification option (with Parrot's cooldown event disabled).
Edit: Loops for every notification method, not just Parrot.

FD resists don't generate a combat log entry, just a message in the UI error frame. Unless I'm missing something about how MSBT/Parrot/SCT works, FD resists aren't going to show up in these mods.Quote from Kerecha »
Since its MSBT it should say in default if FD is resisted...
Maybe I'm wrong.

No offense, it doesn't matter, I'm just saying, etc. etc. disclaimers omg, but...Quote from Seerah »
No, I don't have a small screen. I have a 19" LCD running 12x10. The same resolution as that poster uses. But with the frames from the forums, the task bar, the menu and bookmarks toolbars in FF.... I have to scroll down and across and then back up to view the whole image.
1280x1024 is the same resolution that most 17" CRT monitors from the days of yore ran. That really is kind of small.
Still, no reason to embed the whole image when one could just post a thumbnail with a link as is requested on nearly every one of the 318 pages of this thread.
Apr 12, 2008Just a few questions...Posted in: General AddOns
- Could a target of target module be made?
- I saw on the first page that the sliders could be adjusted via the mouse wheel in one pixel increments, but my mouse wheel just scrolls the config window... how am I doing this wrong?

He might mean it in the way that I say SnapToGrid doesn't work at all anymore. No errors, no crashing, no response from the /commands. It's as if it isn't there...Quote from Xinhuan »
"doesn't work at all" means what? Errors on startup? Crashes wow? Makes oink pig sounds? Some settings not loaded/saved?
Be more descriptive.
But who knows, maybe it is oinking. :\
Apr 3, 2008_ForgeUser972915 posted a message on For you Warlocks, what addons do you use specific to you?Forte Warlock really is a robust addon with enough options and modules that you can get "just what you want" out of it pretty easily. I don't use it, but would be much more willing to if the other Warlocks in my guild did/I was a raid assistant so I could take advantage of more of the features.Posted in: General Chat
I've been a fan of ShardAce for a long time, but I'm thinking about moving away from it as well.
DoTimer is a very nice timer addon, but not being Affliction anymore I've found ClassTimer to be a more than adequate replacement.
Maybe I'm just getting really lazy about updating addons without the handy WAU, but I've been moving away from my more Warlock specific addons slowly but surely for the past few months.
Note: I am very much a fan of how the Forte debuff timer looks and have considered using it again just for that.

Mostly just being happy with Skinner in this screenshot. Finally got things looking how I want them.
Not much else visible.
