    posted a message on Call for Help - FPS Issues in Raid as of 2.1 - Mod or Blizzard?
    As of 2.1 I notice on both my machines massive / FPS issues in 25man raids specifically. There's many posts on Blizards own tech support forums about this as well -- including several blue stickies with GM's making comments to the like "we cant reproduce this inhouse yet".

    I am going to turn seveal key mods I use tonight off for Magtheridon but untill I try this has anyone else experienced this and tried to turn mods/etc off to see what is the cause.

    I use about 20+ ACE2 mods atm on a machine with a 7900gtx - 2gb ram and Core2Duo on XP pre 2.1 everything was fine.

    I am going to turn off PitBull/Cartographer/ORA2 one by one tonight time permitting in Magtheridon's lair and will post any info I find out...

    #2 - I'm a long time user of Discord Frame Modifier to align my UI what I cant quite figure out is what is the name for the Party Frame -- I dont seem to have any issues with the player frames (PitBullUnitFrame1) and target/targettarget (PitBullUnitFrame3,4) however the full player frame at one time was somthing along the lines of PitBullFrame4 and then it looks like to changed to somthing with "Cluster" in it -- sorry I dont have specifics for this as I am @ work.

    Any info would be greatly appreciated on this -- If there are frame names for full party do they also exist for raid?

    No idea, never used Discord. I've read something about the names not being very predictable because the frames might be dynamically generated.

    #3 Perhaps this is a side effect of using somthing like Discord Frame Modifier/Visor/etc -- when I enter raid sometimes my party frames will go nutty and appear to be stretched -- doing a UL reload seems to fix this.

    Since Pitbull allows you to position and scale its frames, there might be conflicts if you're trying to have another addon fight with it over those settings.

    Yes you can position your unitframes without using a DFM/Visor type mod I am just a bit picky I suppose (I know im not the only one here anal about things looking aligned).

    Perhaps it would be a good suggestion that and I hope not too much work to add an option to Pitbull to position your frames by specified coordinates aka. Nurfed does this.

    Thanks for the info!

    #2- I think it was said somewhere here recently that frames get recycled or something... Did you try /print GetMouseFocus():GetName() for raid frames? The other day, my Player frame was PitBullUnitFrame1, and the party was a cluster.

    Well I am rather confident what he means by recycled is when you install the mod and for example turn off Player Pet which by default is PitBullUnitFrame2 (Player Pet) -- everything else gets shifted up IE: By default Target is PitBullUnitFrame3 but if you turn off Player Pet Target now becomes PitBullUnitFrame2.

    Mabey I am wrong but this is the behaviour I see with the mod -- now with that said I was just curious if anyone know the party frame default name with nothing disabled/turned off...

    Thanks for the assistance btw!

    Hopefully someone can answer some of these questions...

    #1 - Portrait -- can anyone tell me on target of target why sometimes the port is the full scale (standing model) vs just the face -- this seems to be almost random unless there is a method to this im not picking up on.

    #4 *** I love the addon so much more than AG but it really troubles me to see daily builds change so much -- is there any plan in the near future to lock the changes down and bugfix the unitframes so they are rock solid?

    Many thanks to the authors for all the hard work!!!

    Anyone know of any way to skin or even manipulate KTM? Its such an eye sore IMO and i'm a bit suprised nobody has done anything with it -- Visor, DFM, etc wont work on the newer KTM builds as they come up as "Unknown Frame".

    Thanks if anyone has any info!

    The problem i've seen doing this per my request a few posts up for a coordinate system to be added (similar to how EEPanels works) is if you hide certain frames after doing these changes with Vizor or DFM, etc the frame names shift (or alteast it was doing this as of 1 week ago).

    Not sure if this is considered a feature or not but basically if you were to lock down your target/tot (PitBullUnitFrame3,4 if memory serves me right) and then hide your players pet target frame (Which is 2) it would shift 3,4 to 2,3 -- this is a crude example but I have personally seen it do this.

    Would it be at all possible (and to be honest I wish i saw this on other ACE2 mods such as BT3, etc) to add options to specifiy coordinates on your Unitframes (Player, Target, Party) along with ability to specifiy where the anchor is (upper left, center, bottom, etc).

    I know mods such as MoveAnything and Vizor do this however I have had issues using them with PitBull specifically and it would be nice not to even have to use such mods for making everything line up and look nice.

    Also if possibe can we get a global scale option vs having to do it for each frame type.

    Thanks for the hard work and I hope somthing like this isnt too much to ask to have done!

    posted a message on Bartender3 - Action Bar AddOn for WoW 2.0
    Are any of you using other mods to center/align your bars? I was using DFM to do this with BT3 but had some odd behaviour once locking BT3 in DFM (Bars would not work unless I did a /console reloadui occasionally). Honestly im not sure if it was BT3 or DFM that was causing the problems.

    I ran across a post in the general forums that you can/could center UI elements using script commands like the following:

    /script BT3Bar1:ClearAllPoints()
    /script BT3Bar1:SetPoint("BOTTOM", UIParent, "BOTTOM", 0, -5)
    /script BT3Bar1SavePosition()

    However the 3rd line would generate errors and not save the bars position -- anyone have any suggestions outside of the face that im being over picky about my UI mods :)

    I'm hoping the 3rd line is just wrong -- another user sugested to use that to save the bars a few pages back and like I said it does not work (atleast for me).

    There was also a post to edit the LUA file and change the X/Y coordinates there -- anyone know if these coordinates are to the BOTTOM LEFT/CENTER/ETC bind point of the bars?

    posted a message on Grid
    Hey another quick ? -- Any way to do a mock layout of Grid without bring in a raid? I would like to center and position it for 40man layout (ideally not while in a raid).

    I also am curious if it does or if it does not can this be done -- any way to set the layout for 40man, 20man, 10man as seperate layouts -- IE: I got a EEPANEL im putting my Grid raid frames in and would like it to be the same size no matter the # in the raid but upscale the icons in the grid depending on the # of people. I hope I didnt confuse anyone with this -- i'm still suffering a bit of a hangover -- TIA.

    As a mage I would love to see Audio alerts in Grid (Curse, Missing Debuffs, etc). I know that this is the avenue that the author of RDX took with his Grid clone (I dont advocate paying for RDX btw just a comment). Really this is the only thing that has prevented me from using GRID as my main set of raid frames -- i'm paying attention to everything else going on and as a non-healer am not used to watching those raid frames aka. whack-a-mole.

    I use this to center the 1, 2 and bonus (i.e. shapeshift) bar to botom center of the screen:

    (You could combine these into one macro if you use supermacro if you wanted too)

    Macro 1 (will place 1 and bonus bar in same place):

    /script Bar1:ClearAllPoints()
    /script Bar1:SetPoint("BOTTOM", UIParent, "BOTTOM", 0, -5)
    /script Bartender:SavePosition(Bar1)
    /script Bar10:ClearAllPoints()
    /script Bar10:SetPoint("BOTTOM", UIParent, "BOTTOM", 0, -5)
    /script Bartender:SavePosition(Bar10)

    Macro 2 (sets bar 2 on top of bar1)

    /script Bar2:ClearAllPoints()
    /script Bar2:SetPoint("BOTTOM", Bar1, "TOP", 0, -5)
    /script Bartender:SavePosition(Bar2)

    Would highly appreciate it if anyone could explain to me why this does not work.

    /script BT3Bar1:ClearAllPoints() ** WORKS FINE **
    /script BT3Bar1:SetPoint("BOTTOM", UIParent, "BOTTOM", 0, -5) ** WORKS FINE **
    /script Bartender3:SavePosition(BT3Bar1) ** DOES NOT WORK FINE **

    The 3rd line to save this generates a "Attempt to call method 'SavePosition' (a nil value)

    Not sure if this changed with 2.0 or if I am not putting the right "Frame" value in however that is the correct frame name for Bartender3 Bar #1.

    I really perfer not to use Vizor / DFM / etc -- if those mods break for whatever reason (2.0.3 is coming) everything I have set will reset.
