haven't tried the Ace3 package, since I think Phanx fixed that in a previous post. Maybe not! Either way, any help would be greatly appreciated as I loooved the simplicity of KotJ and miss it muchly :)
You can set keybindings with BT4 by typing /kb and hitting enter. You'll then be in Keybinding Mode as shown by a box at the top of your screen. Mouseover a BT button and press your keybinding... bam, done. I like it!
I'm also having some problems with pop-ups sticking on-screen even after my cursor has moved away. 0 padding, 1.0 scale, and it happens with the standard "skin" or ButtonFacade's Vol skins.
I've also noticed that using ButtonFacade Vol II (the only skin I'm trying right now), pop-up buttons are sometimes being surrounded with the default "Blizzard" button skin when clicked.
I hope this helps track down the problem, thanks for all your work Toadkiller :)
i don't know if it will make the performance hog. but i like a feature from bongos. when i active a spell what make a buff like sprint, evasion, drums of battle. the buttons glow green as long they are active.. perhaps this can be implemented?
Although I didn't know Bongos had this feature, it sounds... well, cool. I support Bartender4 having something similar, if only to play around with :)
No dice? Even after complete profile reset, it's still doing it. :/ This is only becoming a problem now that I'm playing a rogue, where I'm using weapon buffs a lot more often... seeing those bars wig out on expiry is a bit frustrating!
I've had this small problem since... wow, a long time now. A minor annoyance, but perhaps someone can help with this.
My temporary enchantment bars always 'wig out' when reaching their expiration. The bar will go solid and stretch horizontally across my entire screen for about 3 seconds after a poison/weightstone/etc expires on my weapons, then vanishes.
I've no problem with fan updates if they're good updates, but if the updated mod remains buggy or bugs are introduced it is not a good update. Such is the case with DiscoDice, which has the functionality I'm looking for but problems with leaving combo points 'stuck' on the screen after switching targets or targets die, plus a kludgey options system that does not allow me to disable all its tracking bars, leaving a mod that is more informative than I need and showing the wrong information while doing it :(
I'd like to request a simple mod that displays a rogue/druid's combo points in a movable, draggable frame. There should be the option to choose between text-only and graphical display, with resizable combo point buttons. Being able to change the color of the individual combo dots would be nice, too.
Right now, there are few mods out there that do this and this alone... NinjaPoints has the text option, but no graphical dots that I know of. Many unitframe mods do not allow resizable combo point displays. DiscoDice is buggy, and the recent update is fan-made only. The only alternative would be HUDs, but not everybody likes to use HUDs :)
If you're using the module that hides the chat buttons, then the option for the "jump to bottom" button is in that module. If you're not using that module to hide the buttons, then that button is already in the default UI. ;)
Got it, didn't even see that option! :) Exactly what I wanted, too... hiding the usual buttons but still showing a jump to bottom when scrolling up.
Sixty, you may have enabled AltLinking, and set your Main as the char you're currently typing on...
And on another subject, can the mousescrolling of chat windows place a small "jump to bottom" button in the window? Prat and PhanxChat have these features and it is great, but is sorely missing in Chatter. :)
Is it possible to add the option to skin the minimap button icons? i.e. the PVP icon, LFG, mail, etc. It would be nice to give these icons a plain, square border ala Chinchilla's "Square, Thin" minimap border :)
