Looks like you got this screenshot from a video or something, could you link it if you can find it again?
From what action I can see on the guy's bar, it looks like he's a shaman, maybe Tauren? He seems to have the stomp stun ability on the action bar (farthest left, third from the bottom). He's also got a mana bar and not a rage one, so he's not a warrior. He probably is a shaman, you can clearly see a lightning bolt icon near the middle of the bars. If he is a shaman, then the left-hand icon could be reincarnation, but I have no clue what the right-hand one would be. I know it's used for the rogue sprint ability, but shamans don't seem to have an ability that uses the icon.
Yeah, we really can't see what it is, we'll need a bigger pic or the whole vid so we can see what it does, and pick out frames in it that are less blurred than that.

The option I'd really like in a dropdown menu, is just one little line or icon to 'pin' the menu open until you unpin it, so it doesn't automatically close, which can get annoying when you're fine-tuning one or more options. Maybe have the top level menu re-positionable by dragging on a handle bar on the top? I mainly like dropdowns for being nice and compact, and with a little work they can easily be flexible too.

There's just people out there who don't like dropdowns, that's all.
I'm not one of them, however, and I like your idea. It's nice and compact, without opening another big, bulky config frame on top of the options window, and would help me keep my FuBar nice and clean.

If you can't get an SVN account within a reasonable amount of time, I'd be glad to upload it for you, just e-mail it to me.
To get an account, read the SVN Rules, sign the talk page, and then hop on IRC to find someone who will get you one. It seems the e-mail provided in the rules isn't checked that often, and many people have been waiting a long time for one.

I already did, and they're fine. They're just jpegs.

    WTB those unitframes!
If it's too much trouble, I'll settle for just the font, and copy the unitframes.

I once saw a gold-spammer, who spammed out the same, long message repeatedly in two channels: trade and yell. Because the message was long enough, it was the only thing displayed in the chat frame, so the message flashed between yellow-ish and red.
Heaven help us if they find a way to get past thew color filter.

Actually, I don't think they filter out colors. IIRC, the |c######## part does nothing, and the |r part disconnects you.

It's a bit cluttered for me, and the unitframes look a little randomly placed, but I suppose what works for you is what matters. But overall, it looks very polished.

That's an interesting bag mod you've got open there, what's it called?

posted a message on Possible to start a new UI Screenshot thread?
I'm against creating a new thread, as I'm quite interested to see how big the thread can get before WoW gets screwed over and dies. Hopefully, that'll be years from now, but who knows? After all, Activision just merged with Vivendi, Blizzard's parent company.

Why not just go to the end of the thread?

posted a message on Ace2: Right for my addon projects?
I guess I could re-write the tutorial, since I remember how darned useful it was for me to start coding AddOns.
EDIT: I'm going to start re-writing it on the page http://www.wowace.com/wiki/WelcomeHome_-_Your_first_Ace3_Addon, which is the same name as the old tutorial, but with a '3' instead of a '2'. If this gets problematic, we can always rename the page, or delete the old one.

Whoo! I found someone else who plays ORB, and knows how to make a good-looking UI! Looks sweet Tenelov, love the Zerg/Aldar crossover in the textures. Though it looks a little stretched in the top right, might want to fix that.

posted a message on What's needed to use the SVN?
I luckily got a SVN account.
Then, my computer account screwed up, and I lost the e-mail with the password in it.
The password was a random alphanumeric string.

So, I'm on the waiting list again, I'll post here when my e-mail gets a reply.

posted a message on Desktop Screenshots - Show us your non-WoW!
I'm thinking of switching to linux, but I'm wondering about program compatibility. Can Linux emulate windows, or otherwise run programs made for windows?
EDIT: One big program that I'm wondering about is WoW, does it still work fine on Linux?
EDIT2: I've looked at it a lot more, and I've sorted out compatibility and such. Also, I noticed shortcuts to FireFox in the screenshots, so I'm not very worried about incompatibility issues at this point. Wish me luck!
