AVQest, commonly known as the Diablo font. WoW is the only program I've found that renders the font nicely, as I can read it clearly at 8 or 9 pt., while I have to balloon it up to 20+ pt. for it to be legible in other applications. However, I'm considering a switch to something else, probably supernov.
Hmm, it was handy and easy to use that way, but it then required 2 more pages of documentation, which was annoying. I'd vote for it to be kept, unless someone else can come up with a reason not to.
(Btw, I'm back! Ah, WoWAce forums, how I've missed you!)
The one thing that I really didn't like about Tablet was that it didn't let you know what mouse button was used to click a clickable line. I was too lazy and unskilled at that point to hack around it, so I just decided to wait until someone remade it.
The whole forums seems to be moving kinda slow, but then again, I could just simply be checking it too often.
I would like to try and help out with Ace3Config, especially given the addon I'm working on is about to hit the config phase of production, so I guess I'll check out the tickets and see if there's anything I can help with.
Hmmm, if I remember correctly, the data transfer limit is something like 14kb per so long, so this could be pretty handy for addons that need to transfer a lot of data.
Oops, forgot to post. I got a fresh, new account, after I contacted Kaelten on WoWAce IRC. It probably took him 30 seconds, tops, so it's not a very hard process to add someone. If you've waited at least a week, try to find Kael on IRC, he's friendly and helpful.
And if anyone needs to get something on the SVN, and they've already signed and e-mailed, and are just waiting for the response, I'd gladly upload it for them, unless there's something wrong with that?
He's talking about ChatFrame_AddMessageEventFilter().
It's not Lua functionality, it's WoW functionality. Lua is the language, WoW is the environment you're using the language to program for. For more functions specific to WoW, check out http://www.wowwiki.com/World_of_Warcraft_API.
Alrighty then, I guess I'll start coding. Since it's already there, I'll probably use LDB for the info passing, but I'll definitely include some flag to indicate whether or not the MO is a display, or just a menu button.
Wow, this sure has come a long way from a request for an updated FuBarPlugin for Ace3. When you guys are done with this, please make sure that it can still provide that basic support that almost all addons will want, eg. a button with an icon, that somehow links to a config screen/menu.
Or have those been pushed aside in favour of the Blizzard interface options window?
We know, that's why it's editing a console variable. This is just a macro to toggle the feature so you don't have to dig through the interface menu every time you enter/exit a major city.
