    Heh. My Grid:SetProfile("DPS") that I wrote was just pseudocode pulled out of my rear. You're saying that's what it's actually written as?

    I have another question. Would it be possible to externally change Grid's profile? I have Grid set up with a Healer profile that makes it large and in the center(ish) of my screen, and a DPS profile that shuffles it off to the side and shrinks it. I'd like to script it so that if I change specs on some characters, the profile changes automatically (for psuedocode, if class=="Priest" and spec==2 then Grid:SetProfile("DPS")).

    If that's not possible, I'm still interested in the answer to my original question. :)

    Hello all.

    First off, fantastic addon; I couldn't heal without it. :)

    My question is this: Is there any way to set grid's position externally? What I'd like to do is have Grid at the bottom of my screen at all times, whether it's in a party, 10-man raid, or 25-man raid. This would require setting Grid's y-position to be very low for party, somewhat higher for 10-man, and higher yet for 25-man.

    Basically, what I'm asking is, what would the syntax be if I wanted to call from a kgPanels script, say for example.... Grid:setAnchor(0, -400)

    I've tried digging around in the LUA files to find it myself, but it's beyond my competence level.

    I like to take screenshots on the fly, and I usually don't want to have any names showing. How difficult would it be to create an addon that adds a key bind that toggles visibility of all names?

    Dridzt, the issue is not that I can't loot the good stuff on my runnee... I run the dungeons for exp, not loot. :) Rather, to be efficient in my exp I don't loot anything at all since I'd have to take my attention away from killing things for just that long, yet if there was a way to see "Hey! There's something here that's not just garbage cloth and copper!" I would go back and loot that one corpse. That's why I wanted to see this. :) But if it can't be, oh well.

    You mentioned the mouseover tooltip, I wonder if there's an API function to tell what kind of cursor you have? That is, if the tooltip says the corpse is assigned to someone else but the mouse cursor is in loot-icon form, stick a message in chat that says, "Scarlet Champion has green or better loot!" (or something)

    Well, that's sheer idiocy. Not like I want it to loot FOR me, just check and see if I can loot anything that's not explicitly assigned to me. Guess that explains why I couldn't find anything in the API that might help, though... thanks anyway. :\

    I often use the husband's account to run my own low-level alts through dungeons of all sorts. It's quite a sight, really--sitting cross-legged with a laptop on each knee--but is somewhat inefficient and leaves me little time to loot. I started wondering how many nice area-drop BoEs I could have sold, or how many sexy BoP drops I've missed. Gah!

    So I want to see this addon become a reality, and if no one's interested, I'd appreciate if someone would point me to the necessary functions in the WoW API (I can't find them :s).

    It would need to do four major things, really.
    1- Which of these corpses can I loot?
    2- Which of these corpses are assigned to me?
    3- MARK the corpses that are lootable but not assigned with a hunter's-mark style graphic if possible. This would indicate corpses that have loot above the threshhold.
    4- COMMUNICATE with other people who have the addon, ala QH. That is, if I'm running this addon on my runnee and it sees a corpse assigned to herself, it wouldn't look interesting to her... but if my runner also had the addon and noticed that he could loot the corpse too, it would communicate that and both clients would mark it. Two people running this could find and mark any loot above the threshhold.

    Thoughts? :)

    I'd never heard of ZMobDB, and in my extensive searching for something to do this, the name never struck me as something that might do portraits so I could investigate further. ;) It serves the purpose, although I'd like to turn off the 3d animation and fall back on a 2d still-frame portrait.

    It's better than empty holes for sure though, thanks.

    Hello,

    First, thanks for the addon. It's really sexifying my UI. :) I've just done a complete overhaul on it, in fact, and there's only one more thing I'd like to do.

    Is it possible to use kgpanels to display a standalone portrait in a panel?

    Specifically, I'm trying to place my picture (and, in another panel, my target's picture) within a round border that I've already set up in a panel. I'm sure this will have something to do with calling the SetPortraitTexture("player") function, but I've really got no idea what to do with it from there. Putting this into the scripts area of a panel throws an error. ^^;

    I'd appreciate any help with this that anyone could offer. Thanks in advance.

    I love some of these layouts, especially those with the long horizontal portraits. I know to keep them from being "squished" I need to use 3d portraits instead of 2d, but my computer is not very good and I'd like to disable the animation. Is there any way to do this please?
