    I'm got this set up:
    [13] = {name="Vampirism!", search="You cast Vampirism", r=0/256, g=128/256, b=128/256, iscrit=1, ismsg=1, class={"Warlock"}},

    But I'm a tad lost on the variables on the searching. This will probably suffice for me to know when it happens, but it might be kinda nice to have different ones for crit and non-crit procs.

    Just change the string you're searching for.

    [13] = {name="Vampirism!", search="Your Vampirism heals", r=0/256, g=128/256, b=128/256, iscrit=1, ismsg=1, class={"Warlock"}},
    [14] = {name="Vampirism Crit!", search="Your Vampirism critically", r=0/256, g=128/256, b=128/256, iscrit=1, ismsg=1, class={"Warlock"}},

    If you want the actual amount you healed in the SCT message:

    [13] = {name="Vampirism! (*1)", argcount=1, search="Your Vampirism heals you for (%d+)", r=0/256, g=128/256, b=128/256, iscrit=1, ismsg=1, class={"Warlock"}},
    [14] = {name="Vampirism Crit! (*1)", argcount=1, search="Your Vampirism critically heals you for (%d+)", r=0/256, g=128/256, b=128/256, iscrit=1, ismsg=1, class={"Warlock"}},

    Is CandyBar functioning as intended wrt textures?

    edit: A guildie told me that apparently the CandyBar texture was changed? If so, anyone who helps develop it, could we please get the old texture back...it was much more legible. Thanks.

    Used this today with Teknicolor, works great. Besides the scroll-to-bottom button I also miss the Copy URL feature from Chatbox, where strings that start with "http" or "www" get turned into clickable text that opens a dialogue box with the URL selected so you can copy and paste it into a browser. Would love to see that small feature without all the other crap like enchanting ad reducers and whatnot.

    At any rate thanks again!

    !!!

    So close to being able to get rid of Chatbox...

    All that's missing is the glowing scroll-to-bottom button as someone else mentioned.

    Are shortened channel names toggleable btw?

    Gray,

    Really liking ED, kudos! There are a few things I hope to see implemented before I'd be convinced to switch to it permanently. Wish list:

    - message for buff/debuff/etc. fading
    - configurable strings for formatting events (a la SCL) incl. option to show or not show icons
    - crit color and ability to customize every color
    - ability to add own icons for events that don't have them by default (trinkets etc.)

    I think that's it. :P

    Oh, and one question - I didn't test ED in a raid setting so I wasn't sure: are stackable buffs/debuffs shown with the number of stacks you've received like SCT?

    Again, thanks for the spectacular work.

    Agreed. Damage meters do more... *cough* damage than good. They can be useful in tweakin a DPS class's build, but once done, they're hardly needed and cause nothing but trouble in the form of in-guild rivalry. Most of the guilds I've been in were eventually forced to ban them from raids.

    That's totally absurd. It's not the damage meters' fault, it's the fault of the idiots who abuse and misuse them.

    I'm guessing you haven't been to Naxx, where encounters are essentially designed around the most popular raiding mods? Some bosses have enrage timers and require a minimum raid DPS to kill; tracking your DPS classes shows who needs to improve, the difference consumables make, or areas where your strategy can be improved etc. SW Stats is also excellent for tracking healing stats, and is incredibly helpful on healing-intensive fights like Patchwerk for fine-tuning your strat.

    Can modern encounters be done without damage meter mods, certainly. Are they only useful for "tweaking a DPS class's build" - ffs no. WoW is a much more data-intensive game than most previous MMOs; the amount of information generated during a raid is staggering, and tools like damage meter mods help organize and make sense of the chaos. No guild who is working on cutting edge content would "ban" damage meters - they are a core raiding tool.

    If you have a problem with people being idiots over damage meters instead of using them to analyze and improve the raid's performance, your problem is with the people, not the mod.

    Sorry for the digression, but it irks me when people ignorantly disdain addons, especially the popular scorn for damage meters that's happening at present.

    posted a message on MiniRaid - the smallest raid unit frames [PREVIEW]
    Changed it a little, actual health bar at top w/ abbreviated debuff type, and an idea of how to display debuffs:

    Purple line = druid002 is cursed, blue line = druid003 is magic-debuffed.

    Just some ideas for you Maia, feel free to take this stuff and do whatever. Depending on what font you use, you can make these frames even smaller...I used Myriad Pro above, but Myriad Semibold Condensed is...well, condensed!, and shaves off like 30% of the width. It's a little less readable though.

    And Kimat, can I just say your idea to show health deficit in 2 digits is absolutely brilliant? ;)

    I love this idea. /applaud

    I came up with another variation using two ideas posted in this thread. :D

    First box, no one selected, total class health is shown at the top. Number to right of name is health deficit.

    Second box, Druid002 selected, his health percentage replaces the text at the top.

    Would be simple to highlight the background color of a name when debuffed as well...

    I would love to use these Maia. ;)

    I think the problem is bigwigs is already using the fubar2 plugin .9

    Any chance we could get (temporary?) support for a BW FuBar 1.2 plugin again? Some folks are not upgrading to FuBar2 yet for various reasons.

    My current setup: here.

    I'll edit in list if people want one :<.

    Which scrolling text addon are you using? Specifically I want to know how you have damage in/out on separate sides, buffs/debuffs on top, and how you have Blade Flurry hits listed like that (the BF listed as [2 Hits] confuses me, is that a Sinister Strike perhaps?).

    And if you wouldn't mind explaining how you altered the chat tabs. :D

    Thanks!
