The only way to preserve the empty places in groups is to actually create a separate PitBull Group for each Raid Group. Then you can arrange them however you like and players won't all spill together into the one bin.

Thank you! I've been thinking about wanting this for a while, but hadn't really tried to figure out how. Took me a while just now to get it all set up the way I wanted, but it is now. We'll see what I messed up with tonight's raid. =D

First I'd like to say that I enjoy your addon immensely. It's one of my core addons. With the new patch I can't seem to figure out how to show the new totem bar. Is it not in this version of bt or am I missing something?

A guildmate had the same problem.

He solved it by going to a shaman trainer and learning the new spell(s). ;D

Actually on a similar note, I tried both Shadowed UF and STUF recently, and the feature one of 'em had that I liked is the ability to anchor one frame to another frame.

For example, after playing with it for a bit, I decided I wanted to move my pet frame, so I just grabbed and moved it. Then realized that I needed to move my Pet's Target frame too. Would've been nice to have that frame anchored to be relative to the pet frame rather than relative to the whole screen.

But, that's a really minor thing. I tossed out both ShUF and STUF fairly quickly in favor of PB4. Thanks for the awesomeness.

You can open an enhancement ticket for this but I'm disinclined to add any more options to the Aggro module. The options we have were meant to be hold overs till we can get around to implementing a more proper notification system so that all the different modules that highlight things can have access to the same methods without conflicting with each other.

Well then get the proper notification system done! By tomorrow! You should be working on this 24 hours a day for free for us users!!!

Is there a way to have Aggro be a highlight?

Neither background nor border are sufficiently bold enough for me, so at the moment I'm using Health Bar, but it would be nice for it to be a red highlight similar to mouseover or debuffs.

Here's another vote for adding LibResComm. Certainly not crucial, but it would be nice.

Another question I have: the pet happiness icon, in xperl and stuf, has a tooltip when you hover over it telling you exactly what the level is at. I'm slowly figuring out that from the icon itself, but as I just started my first hunter, it'd be nice to have that tooltip, which doesn't seem to be there with PB4.

    New option request:

Can I change the chat color output? I love the new green for positive cash flow from merchants, and red for negative cash flow for merchants, except that because I'm slightly color-blind, the dark (to me) red is really hard to read.

I'd love a brighter red, even if it ends up closer to pink.

    Thanks!

    Exactly, HZ.

The rune-bar was just an example. The cast-bar was another thing I figured out a "workaround" for by having it there but the background for it fully transparent. If it's "show only when casting" or whatever that option's called, then all the other bars get squished during a cast and unsquished once the spell goes off.

Right now with PB4 it looks like I'll be doing a similar workaround with the runes being an icon instead of a bar, since it does the same squishy thing (I think). I can go look at doing the workaround you suggest with a separate addon, though, at least for the rune bar/icons. Shadowed UF is certainly easier to configure than PB4 (which is way easier than PB3).

That said, the configuration display in PB4 is a giant plus for me. I hate having to get other people to group with me just so I can set up my party/raid frames.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion on separating the runes. I'll keep poking at this stuff, and I'm sure I'll come up with more questions as I go. :)

    Darn you HunterZ! :)

Been using Xperl forever (well, since my second raid, anyway), and I've been steadily getting less happy with it with each 3.x.x patch.

So, this thread has prompted me to start trying out some other unit frame addons. Spnt about 3 hours on it last night trying to get a few of them configured how I want, but still didn't get very far.

The thing I ran into on Shadowed UF that made me give up on it (for now) is that I couldn't find a way to get it to use "fixed" bar heights. E.g., adding the rune bar for my DK shrinks all the other bars, but I want my health/power/etc. bars to be the same height whether the rune bar is there or not.

Pitbull4 I stopped messing with when I couldn't get text formatted the way I wanted. After I gave up and just played for a while (with Xperl), I realized I can use dogtags to do that for me, so that's no longer an issue.

I'm a tankadin, so there are a few issues from xperl I'm hoping at least one of these UFs can address.

    1) Give a giant huge red background for people with aggro.
    2) Either don't give that for our other tanks, or at least be able to sort raid frames to put those tanks in a fixed place so I know to not taunt off them.
    3) Handle vehicles in a sensible way. Looks like pretty much all of them do this.
    4) Copy my setup from xperl to save me a ton of configuration time. And I want a pony! :)

Feature request, hopefully fairly easy to implement:

The current aggro indicator is a red border around the frame. This is VERY useful to me as a tank, especially as a tankadin with Righteous Defense.

However, it'd be even better if the entire frame was tinted red, similarly to debuffs tinting the entire frame blue, green, etc. for type of cleansing.

And, an even *more* useful option, would be to have the entire frame tinted red for non-tanks, but only the border turning red for tanks.

I keep meaning to dig into the code and implement this myself. If I manage it, where would I send the code changes to for approval to get into the main trunk?

The biggest issue I have is picking up loose mobs that've run off to pick on a healer or DPS, which no tank is currently targetting. Currently the tools I have to see this are X-perl's red border on raid frames, seeing one run off towards the party, which frequently either I don't see due to the crowding and spell effects, or someone screaming over vent that there's a mob loose. :)

What would be ideal is a quick way to target whatever mob is targetting a non-tank. I know there are blizzard restrictions on interactive frames (e.g., you can't target someone through the Omen frame, but you can through a raid frame) and I don't know if it's possible to show which enemies we're currently fighting in a static interactive frame. If it's a DPS who overran threat, likely it's their target, so I could target them, then target their target. But for healers, it's entirely possible that the mob attacking them isn't targetted by anyone in the raid.

I always see who my target is targetting just by having the target-of-target frame up, so that part of this addon doesn't seem useful to me. The taunt warnings and knockback warnings sound really useful, though!

I don't really understand what "* TankWatch-Icon feature helps you to quickly pinpoint which mob is going out of control or which one can be taunted to take the load of other tanks easily/safely (with their current targets in mind)." means or how it works. If this does what I'm asking for above, I'll be eternally grateful!

I doubt I can check until weekend after next. I will try it out as soon as I can, but need to go on a real raid where the achievement could pop up automatically. And this weekend a whole lot of guildies are being wusses and trying to avoid the wife aggro from raiding on July 4th. :)

I definitely would love to have POIs on the minimap as well as the world map, and choose which ones to show.

Would be nice to be able to see a POI's coordinates.

And I'm looking forward to checking out the quest timer and item button support tonight.

I noticed last night that I didn't have a quest timer for a timed quest.

Made a new gnome, and 4 or 5 quests in got the quest to deliver some booze while it's still hot (5 minutes). Way back in the day, a timer popped up near my minimap, which I didn't get last night. I don't know if this is related to tomquest2, or the blizzard changes in 3.1, or some other addon. Any idea? I'll be happy to spend some time testing this if you'd like me to.

Last night I had to seriously shrink the maximum widths in the quest tracker. It seems to be automatically expanding to the max.

I also got an error when my DK dinged 60. Of course I forgot to post it last night, and it's on my computer at home, inaccessible from work.... Hopefully I'll remember to do so tonight.
