posted a message on Omen2 tank mode?
    Bah! Stop making sense! :)

Actually, thank you for the very nice response. I understand completely, though I do wish Blizzard could provide the info needed to do this. :)

Is there enough communication between Omen clients that, if I tell my client "I'm the tank", then when another client sends an AGGRO warning, it'll tell my client which will say "The stoopid Mage is approaching your aggro on Mob Foo" or something to that effect. I know *I* can understand that it's a warning, and that I might lose aggro at any time without said warning, and that it's not 100% reliable. But I'd think it would help considerably.

That said, yeah, 'til Blizzard can directly tell the addon what everyone's *real* threat level is, making a tank threat warning is very hard.

    Thanks again for your response!

posted a message on Omen2 tank mode?
Okay, I've searched the forums and the web for an answer to this, and failed to find one. Hopefully someone here can answer what I'd think to be a simple question....

How do I tell Omen that *I* am the tank, and I don't want to be warned when I'm about to gain aggro, I want to be warned when I'm about to *lose* aggro.

I can disable aggro warnings, which I've done for now, but I'd like to get a warning that's the reverse of what our DPS and Healers get so I can be ready to throw a taunt, and/or start cranking out more threat if I've been conserving mana.

Is anyone aware of another addon that would do this for me if Omen won't? Preferably one that works with Threat-2.0, since everyone has that as part of Omen? I've seen references to TankAlert, but that appears to no longer be supported, and doesn't work any more.

I recently noticed that Blizzard's default compass is still showing on login even though I have the Compass module enabled. If I toggle the Compass module off and back on, it then hides the Blizzard compass.

I'm having the exact same problem. Just started using Chinchilla today, and absolutely love it. This is the only thing that even remotely annoys me about it. And it's a very minor annoyance, but still there.... ;D
