You can easily get free Credit Cards in Germany...

But PayPal payment shouldnt really be much of a hassle to implement I guess

posted a message on How much damage can I do w/o pulling aggro?
As a Damage Dealer you should know your "crit spell" threat normally :P

With your Idea they still would need to know how much damage they do, for classes with DoTs this even gets more complicated, which is about as complicated as knowing your spells threat value when they crit...

In the end the calculations are the same you have to do in your head:

if TankThreat - MyThreat > MyMaxThreatMindBlast then
    /cast Mind Blast

    or:

    if DMGIamableToDo - MyHighestCritDMGfromMindBlast > 0 then
    /cast Mind Blast

I dont really think the second one is that much easier :P

Not to mention in the time you are doing that decission the Tank already built an additional 200Threat most likely :P

I dont really see the problem in the Client gathering non personal system information.
Those information you already made available anyway:

WoW collects and submits "non personal Hardware Information"
almost every other MMORPG does it aswell
Steam does it and even publishs Studies about it which are really important even for every(even non steam using) publisher
Every bigger Websites does it if possible

I dont really see a bad thing behind it. Websites have to be financed, the amount of money by ads raises if you can specifiy what User group are viewing your content and the AdProvider can specifically provide Ads targeted to the consumers. Even projects generously hosted by someone(lets say Google) have "hidden" ways to finance themselves, almost always by gathering statistic Data for the given Hoster.
Aslong as they dont start to gather personal Information its not really a bad thing.... You could argue that starting to gather such information ends in gathering Personal Information by checking which URLs are browsed etc., but I dont think in this community this would be done long...

    Quote from ArcadianDelSol »

the Asus a8n-e is supposed to support up to the 64 x2 4800+ - Im not going to put $200.00 into this motherboard, but Im sure there's a reasonably priced upgrade in the middle somewhere that wouldn't kill me to pick up.

Well I went from the CPUs available, the 4000+ was the fastest I could find here at a Pricesearchengine.

Hes referring to your current CPU.

And you cant really get a Upgrade with your current Motherboard. The highest available CPU for Socket939 is a Single Core Athlon64 4000+ which is a 200MHz upgrade compared to your current CPU. It helps close to nothing and is not worth the money(~30$)

Buying a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400(~150$) and a new motherboard with P45 Chipset (~around 100-150$ or more depending on the features wanted) and 4GB of DDR2(~60$) is the best upgrade you can get at the moment for around 300-400$.

But if you are not gaming besides WoW it might be wise to wait a bit longer with a hardware purchase.

Uhm if you paid 3200$ for that PC 2 Years ago I would kill the "friend" that built the PC.

I had about the same PC and I bought it March 2005 so more than 3 years ago, just a different graphiccard. I paid 1000?(at that time it was around 1200$) without a graphiccard. A good card was ~350?(~400$) at that time so MAX 1600$ wouldve been justified for that PC.

If you got a PC for 3200$ your graphic card is normally more than enough for WoW and a new one (like a Radeon 4870) wouldnt really bring a FPS advantage...You can easily test this by just reducing the graphic details to zero and check if your FPS are noticeable higher(Normally you get like 2-5fps more, with a sucky graphiccard its like 10-20 :P)

WoW is normally CPU capped, so a faster CPU or if you dont have ~2-4GB RAM is pretty much the only upgrade you can get.

posted a message on Threat-2.0 and Black Bow of the Betrayer
Hunters grabbing aggro is usually the result of FD not working correctly and nothing else. Even if the mana drain causes threat its so little it doesnt matter(8mana per shot... let that even be 50threat per shot which is unrealistic it wouldnt matter at all)

posted a message on Incoming damage estimator
Median Damage that comes close to the damage a tank gets doesnt exists, this is the main problem in Healing in TBC.
Your Maintank Healers can overheal 70% of their heals(pure spamming) and the tank can still die. In Sunwell we quite some times had tanks dieing because of massive spike damage(over 20k in under 2secs). Preventing that is pure luck as "coordinating" healing on the tank is impossible because of haste gear(and haste procs) and random lag. A Maintank currently always needs full healing on him the only thing you can do is aborting heals manually in the last sec although that kills Maintanks sometimes aswell(getting dmg right after the heal is aborted).
The problem arised because Tanks could easily stack up high parry/doge values and to make a fight "hard" instead of trivial on the Maintank Healing the mobs got massive damage, that rapes your MT if he doesnt dodge 4hits in a row. You can clearly see this because every SWP Boss has a hidden buff on him that removes 20%(!!!) dodge from the Tanking Person. While in Black Temple a renew is almost enough to heal your Maintank...

It looks like they want to go away from Pure Spamming in WotLK, which healers appreciate I guess.

Its a bit awkward to have a Multiplayer Game inside a MMORPG :D

    I will look forward to:

RaidLeader AddOns to check whos currently playing and not paying attention. (I know from some guilds that had "serious" problems because of Texas Holdem ingame :P)
    RaidMember AddOns that disguise everything

Quartz can do that besides many other things castbar related, maybe you already got it installed. Its THE castingbar mod. :D
(You have to resize the castingbar to width 0 etc. and move the time to the buff)

    Wrong forum btw
