If you use embedded libraries, then since Automaton is one of the first addons to load (they go alphabetically) its copies of libraries load first and get used, so any other addon that uses the same libraries will artificially bulk up Automaton's numbers. With embedded libraries, you simply cannot get accurate performance data. Either run standalone libraries or don't worry about it.

There really should to be a sticky with this sort of info (not that anyone will read it). Now that 2.1 tracks addon memory usage, it comes up multiple times a day. :P

    Feature Request:

Allow to set the size of the icons. 40x40 is wat to big for me and I prefer 32x32 for example.

    It has a Scale feature...

Is it possible actually to have bars with more than the 12 standard buttons ?
I am actually using TrinityBars which is the only addons bar mod to do this that I know but the latest patch made it really buggy and I am looking to replace it.

You could try InfiniBar, but it's still pretty beta, no guarantees on bugginess or features or lack thereof.

posted a message on aperture memory usage?!
Most likely you're running embedded libraries, and since Aperture loads them first, all Ace2 library memory usage is being attributed to Aperture. Nothing to see here, really.

Glad the tooltips are working again... I tried Baggins while ArkInv was having problems, and it just isn't the same. <3

Pitbull's been doing this since 2.1 patch for me. I didn't post about it since it's at worst a minor annoyance to me. I'm not sure which version I currently have, I'm at work atm. I also haven't seen any rhyme or reason or pattern for it yet.

posted a message on Mr Plow v4.5 (Updated 09/05/06)
    Two feature requests please. :)

Soul Shards: I would love Mr. Plow to plow my soul shards into my shard bag. Scenario: I have 24-slot shard bag. Let's say I "overshard" to 28 shards (I do this surprisingly often), so I have 4 in my regular bags. Now when I expend shards, they get taken from my shard bag first. This leaves me with empty shard bag slots, and soul shards taking up regular bag slots. Now if I'm use ArkInventory, I can manually move them around, but there's no way to do this with Baggins, I have to open the Blizz bags (ugh) and find them and move them.

Feedback/Spam: Only two settings... "Silent" and "OMGimspammingtheeverlovinghelloutofyou". :( I'd love a "middle ground" setting that tells you when it's starting and when it's finished, without excessive spam.

Thanks for an awesome addon. :)

posted a message on Low Memory High Customization Bag mods
With standalone libs, ArkInventory was using 2.4MB at load time and could end up as high as 5.5MB for me. Baggins seems to use slightly less so far, and Baggins deals better with new incoming items due to being able to set up rules. I used Ark since it came out, but the latest issues with it made me try Baggins again (hadn't tried it in a while), and I think I'm staying with Baggins.

Love the debuff highlighting now. I can finally see magic debuffs, and the higlhight is highly visible without making the text on the frame harder to read. Awesome. ;D

    Hi,

i play a priest and would like to have a feature, that bar changes depending on harmful or helpful target. So i can set my dmg spells and heal spells in 1 bar and it shows what i can do with the target.

Definitely a possibility, but I don't have it set up just yet. I'll add it to the list.

There are a limited number of macros, and an unlimited number of buttons in InfiniBar.

I second this, would be a great feature.

Please, do not implement this. It's already implemented in macros. Just do something like :

#showtooltip [harm] Mind Blast; [help] Renew
/cast [harm] Mind Blast; [help] Renew

    Two problems with this:

    1. There are a limited number of macros, and an unlimited number of buttons in infinibar
    2. Your macro would not work well for people who use "passive targetting" to heal.

Anyone else having problems with Arkinventory and closetgnome? Running both mods makes it impossible for me to acces my items from my inventory (using arkinventory of course). Disabling the gnome solves this problem, but I am not sure if Arkinv or ClosetGnome are causing the trouble.

    Greetings!

I use ArkInv and ClosetGnome and don't have this problem... I only use the base 'gnome addon though, none of the other modules.

posted a message on Antagonist, quartz, chronometer, classtimer, necb
Quartz and ClassTimer use the new 2.1 API for tracking buffs and debuffs. Chronometer still works by parsing the combat log as far as I know, which has advantages and disadvantages. As advantages, it can track things that the other two won't - things like Consecrate which is neither a buff not a debuff, spells cast on things that aren't your target or focus, etc. As a disadvantage, it isn't necessarily as accurate... if you have a debuff on one mob, and another mob of the same name dies, you can lose that timer.

I can't talk about Antagonist or NECB since I've never used either one.

OmniCC is what you want. I don't think it's Ace2-based though.

Does it matter that it's Ace or not? :P But, yes, OmniCC is what they need. :)

I'm going back to CooldownCount because the numbers in OmniCC are now so faint that I can barely make them out.

OmniCC is much more configurable than it was. /omnicc for options.

It works the same way though with Postal. Enter in your recipient, then alt-click (the mail gets automatically sent), alt-click, alt-click, alt-click, alt-click. You just sent out 5 items to the same person in the span of about 3 seconds.

Well, I, for one still use Gmail, as being able to prepare 21 items to be sent, and review them before sending the whole makes quite a big difference.
    But that\'s just me :]

Yeah, reviewing the mail you're going to send is the big one. It's rare, but every once in a while I click something I didn't mean to, and send it off since there's no way to stop it once you alt-click. Actually it's rare enough that I've only done it once so far, and the item was inconsequential (stack of netherweave, I wasn't even going to bother asking the guy to return it). But still, some kind of sanity check mechanic would be nice.
