PickMail - Shift+Click on the mail listing to collect and delete it in one step...looking for an alternative though, since it doesn't work with mail that has multiple items.
WatchYourBack - Press a hotkey and you can look behind yourself. Another one and you can look left. Press them both and you look right. Loads of fun when you need to see where things are in relation to you in a hurry. I have it set for the back and forward buttons on my mouse right now.

Yes, yes and yes - unless there's something non-standard about the way that the Mac version of the game handles paths, especially spaces?
Try using "/" instead of "\" since you're on a Mac (that sort of problem crops up occasionally with addons on Macs). If that doesn't work, maybe consider escaping the character by using "\/" instead of "\". If either of those work, blame it on Microsoft for bucking the trend by throwing out years of precedent when they chose to use "\" instead of the widely accepted, and easier to reach on the keyboard, "/". If those don't work, then I have no clue. All I know is that OSX follows the UNIX convention, rather than the DOS convention.

As for configuring it, I'm not sure about the latest version of Auctioneer, but it used to be hidden away in the auctioneer command line options (/auctioneer). You had some moderate controls over it, like being about to merge it into the main tooltip, rather than having it as a child tooltip, or being able to govern what information you wanted to display there.

As for deleting saved variable files, Chmee's idea is exactly the way I would suggest implementing it as well. Leave it to the user to make the choice of whether or not to delete the saved variables for a specific addon. In addition to that, you might possibly have it as a preference to automatically clean out unused ones when updating, or something of that sort, but Chmee's idea would be the ideal, I should think.
And if you're fishing for other feature ideas, something I had been thinking about the last few days was the idea of...I guess we'll call it "gray listing" an addon. Basically, set it up so that it stays installed, but it doesn't get updated alongside the rest of your addons when updating. The use for something like that would be for people that modify their addons and don't want to manage the hassle of restoring addon files from backups after performing an update. For instance, if I've made minor modifications to addons X, Y, and Z, normally I have to back up the modified files before updating, or else slight changes the author just made might overwrite my modifications. After the update is done, I have to restore my modifications, which may or may not work with the new version of the code. I know that I'd prefer to have them simply not be updated until I specifically choose to update them, rather than having to restore my modifications after an update.
If I could turn off updates for specific addons that are already installed, it'd save some extra effort.

If you go into the settings for the bars, you can change the texture. Some of the other textures get rid of the strong gradient that the default texture has.

REQUEST #1: Allow the width of the Player castbar to go significantly larger than the current max of "1500".
REQUEST #2: Allow the Player castbar and other castbars to go truly flush with the edge of the screen when borders are disabled. Perhaps this means allowing negative values for the x and y positions?
REQUEST #3: Allow the other castbars besides the Player castbar to have the same dimensions as it, instead of being smaller.
It's a real testament to just how good an addon is when my only requests for it are cosmetic in nature.
I looked through the first 18 or so pages of the topic and couldn't find these specific requests, so please forgive me if they were asked already.
There are a few cosmetic things that I can do with eCB that I really would like to have in Quartz. For instance, with eCB, I have it set up so that my Player castbar is behind FuBar (which has a transparent background), since it makes it look like FuBar itself is my castbar (see old screen capture). I can't do that with Quartz though for two reasons.
The first is that I am not able to make the Player castbar wide enough. I'm only on a 15" monitor, but the largest width setting of 1500 in Quartz just doesn't stretch across my screen. I don't know if it's because my UI scale is set to the smallest setting or if it's something else, but it only goes about 2/3 of the way across the screen..
The second reason is that I can't get it to go flush with the edges of the screen. I disabled the border and the icon, and I couldn't get the cast bar to sit flush with the bottom or the sides, since it always wanted to be inset by a few pixels. I also couldn't set the position to a negative value in the options, which was how I handled this with eCB. If I could set the x and y positions to negative values, or if it would allow me to drag it so that it was truly flush with the edge, that problem would go away.
The only other thing I would really like to see is the ability to make the other bars the same size as the Player cast bar. I usually keep my enemy cast bar at the top of the screen, stretching clear across, that way it's very obvious and very visible. Similarly, my focus bar has a place on the screen where it stretches quite a ways, and so does my mirror bar. Quartz limited some of those bars to smaller sizes though (500, I believe). Is there any chance that those restrictions might be lifted?
Oh, and I love the way that you handle tradeskills. When I saw it for the first time, I was crafting a couple dozen items for skillups. I suddenly broke out into a huge grin and said, "That is so cool." It's really tearing me up now, since I've gotten a taste of all these great features that Quartz has to offer, but right now it means sacrificing the appearance of my UI to accommodate it.
Any chance you can help?

It's not so much that you need it for a specific situation. For healers, managing your time in and out of the five-second rule can dramatically increase your mana efficiency. Changing the order of your casts from Rejuv + Healing Touch to Healing Touch + Rejuv can reduce your time spent inside the five seconds, and if you knew when the mana ticks were coming, you would know when to start your cast so that a tick or two came in while your cast was active. With those long Druid heals, I know that I have plenty of use for a feature like that, since it'd effectively let me get an extra tick where I normally wouldn't get one. That means 100 mana where before I would get none. That adds up quickly over the course of a 5-minute or 10-minute fight.

I grabbed the textures that you had posted way back before luzienne ever came onto the scene (not sure which revision they correspond to), and they seem to work fine for the rounded bar, which is what I'm using at the moment. I haven't tried the diagonal one recently, so I don't know if it works, but my problem is solved, so I'm a happy camper. If I run into trouble though, I'll be sure to grab that specific revision's textures. Thanks again for all of the work.

I came to this topic to try and find a solution (or else report a problem) for two issues that I encountered when using the addon. After reading through the topic though, and seeing how far it has come in such a short period of time, as well as just how responsive you were to suggestions and complaints, I couldn't help but feel the need to thank you. The two problems I had, the default casting bar showing back up and the problem with textures on Macs, were both addressed in this topic, and I look forward to trying the fixes out (I hope that those old textures you uploaded still work, but if not I know where to ask for help now).
Again, I just wanted to thank you for all of the hard work you've put into IceHUD. I wish I had discovered it sooner, since it absolutely blows the competition out of the water.
