I peeked into the simpleMiniMap code, and this how that finds the Capture frame:
    for i = 1, NUM_EXTENDED_UI_FRAMES do
    local f = getglobal("WorldStateCaptureBar"..i)
    if(f) then..

Stripped out the rest of the function, since it only ties the capture frame to the mover frame in sMM :)

Kinda makes sense, as there's different capture bars for different events, I don't think there's a quicker way of doing it is there?

@ Coldfury (I remember joo from BWL days :D): LUA layouts are there still / again, no working frame editor atm (although Tivoli is putting that in as far as I know, aside the good old LUA layouts).

He's actually spending some time on Nurfed, adding and fixing a few things. Over the past 6 months it's only given 1 error (now with 2.4) though, so it didn't need much fixing :)

@ Paradigmlie: as far as flexibility, Nurfed is on par with Pitbull, oUF and the likes. I don't use the default layout either :P

What are good UF mods that arent mem hogs like Pitbull? All i use from pitbull are the health, power, and text. Heres a SS of what i use from it. (not shown is my party, on which i have a custom text header that shows the talent trees of my party members)

You're not gonna want to hear this, but Nurfed does the job very well for me. Never moved away from it ever since I started using it nearly 3 years ago now. Whole Nurfed suite uses ~500 Kb altogether (so that's the amazing virtual actionbars, the unitframes and the other minor stuff), and Tivoli is finally getting around to finishing it now.

I'm pretty sure Apoco and I are the only ones you'll see on these forums who still use it though :D

So to answer your question about dates, no I didn't know the exact date, *BUT*, I knew it was April 1 plus/minus a week...I'm sure you knew this as well. The fact we didn't know the *exact* date is irrelevant. We knew an approximate date, and that date should have been factored.

I won't comment on any of the whining and crying in here, because being a developer myself, I know I'll get too pissed off while writing a reply to that nonsense.

I will however say this: How come you and 90% of "the people" "knew" this, whereas I and anyone I know who has been on the PTR figured it would still several weeks due to the fact that Blizzard screwed a lot of things up (apart from API problems, there's still issues in the game itself)?

They've pushed out crap patches too soon before, but this one they really rushed. I honestly did not expect them to push this one out so soon, as there is absolutely no rush for them since it's the last patch?

On topic: Omen2 works fine for us, had a few problems in the first few raids last week, but everything has settled down. Cleared through MH and BT this week without any problems anywhere, only weird thing is that I seem to be doing more threat than before :P

Silly fury warrior threat, good thing our tanks win ^^

Then I'll correct you. :) It does matter because if Baggins loads that one copy of the library, then anything else that uses that library will show up as Baggins memory usage.

Yes, but like I said, I'm pretty sure most of the memory listed for Baggins comes from the PT library, which is only used by Baggins in my case (at least I think so, haven't checked yet :E) :)

Baggins is low-memory for what it does. You're using embedded libs. None of your memory stats are accurate.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't matter wether I use embedded libraries or not does it? Since there will be at most one instance of any library?

I don't think there's any other addon that uses the PT library (which is 95% of the memory usage reported for Baggins I assume), and I don't need the fancy sorting Baggins gives me. All I'm looking for is what BaudBag gives me to be honest; I was just using Baggins because it beats ArkInventory and Sanity on all points, and last time I used OneBag it wouldn't work (altho I assume that's been fixed by now :P).

Not make it public, don't worry, this is only for personal use and I've still left all credits intact :)
The base addons were really good, so I'm not gonna pretend they're my own addons, but I modified them quite heavily, just renamed them so I can find em quick when I want to change something.

It's just a habit of mine, I do the same thing with websites/software I make. Split every little detail into little modules, then merge them into one central folder (but leave the 'modules' separate) to minimize the number of folders I gotta go through, and possibly centralize some settings like fonts :P

Update on my UI, still working on it :P

    http://www.werelds.net/UI.jpg

I still need to find a good low-usage replacement for Baggins, what I'm looking for is more or less an All-in-one bag addon where I can still see the bags separately, any ideas?

And I need to figure something out for my buffs, using the lazyman's option of Buffalo2+Dreamlayout is kinda..meh :P

For the record, the wChat, wStats and wNameplates are highly modified versions of respectively oChat, LynStats and evlNamePlates, I might merge them into 1 single addon once I'm done.
The StatLogic library is just there because I'm working on an addon of my own, forgot to disable the library when I disabled the addon. I can't seem to embed the library into the addon properly, it keeps bugging out on the UTF8 stuff, even though it's loaded and everything :|

Edit: anyone know what breaks the combat log btw? Mine looks like the old one all of a sudden, and I can't get the filters to work again; I actually liked that feature :p

Thats what the cooldown module of DoTimers does. And it can fill or deplete at your choice.

Decided to try DoTimers out today, but that's still not the one seen in http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/5011/wowscrnshot031608192333sq5.jpg

Anyone figured it out yet? :<

    Current WIP: http://www.project-guild.com/images/WoWUI2_4_1.jpg

Things to note: Raid groups grow from left to right vertically. The unit frames to the right of raid are MT's, and below the raid is Assists. Currently using MSBT and missing Parrot. The memory load includes the non-LoD version of Lightheaded which runs at 14mb...so subtract about 13mb from the total, so the entire UI runs pretty light. There's actually 4 fully active keybound bars usable, just not visible...3 of which display as paging modifiers on Alt and Ctrl. Probably most happy with this layout...as I've gone through quite a few in the last few weeks. Tooltip borders are custom loaded to replace the main blizzard tooltip.

Which addon(s) do you use for your chat? I've tried to figure out how the hell to get my tabs to show all the time, but I still dunno how that's done :D

At the moment I've simply got oChat, so if there's some LUA way of showing tabs, that'd be great :)

How do I make UI that is clean and simple and doesn't suck donkey balls? I use 1280x1024 and no body makes anything worthwhile for that resolution.

    http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=1764.msg195566#msg195566

Mine is made for 1280x1024, I'm also one of those suckers with a normal 5:4 TFT monitor ^^

I'll be done with it soonish, so if you want, I'll make a public download of it then. My whole guild is asking for it atm, no pressure on me at all ^^

WIP of my UI, and with WIP I mean very much WIP :p

    In combat, raid

Out of Combat, still in raid though :P

Still need to finish my UF layout, I'm gonna get rid of my buffs at the top right. Although, is there any way to get rid of a buff without having a buff frame? I generally don't give a crap about buffs, I just need to be able to click off stuff like Salv every now and then..

Other than that, I just need to alter the looks of PerfectRaid a bit (still tempted to switch to PitBull, but with a bit of luck Nurfed will have raid frames back soon), find a good place for tank targets, configure Autobar properly, skin Omen etc :p

    Any suggestions? ^_^

All panels are just Skinner middleframes.

Minimap button frame from WoWI is the minimap jobby.

MBF is amazing, I love it :D

I'm gonna mimic your panels with eePanels2 for now though, because Skinner for some reason doesn't update panels until I hit reloadui :P

I'll just set my stuff up temporarily until I can steal some of your settings :)
