is that all?
I have it running between 50-60 MB atm. It was 65-73 a week ago but I decided then to dump some mods :D

Oct 24, 2005For some weird reason no one actually stated a quest mod.Posted in: Addon Ideas
Basically a combination between Monkeyquest and Quest-I-on but then Aced. and removed from idiocy like window customisation, font editing and that kind of weird stuff.
- Quests to be opened or collapsed per area
- Seperate movable questframe
- the minimize button to almost hide it when you don't need it
- progession displayed on screen (dunno if this is defaulted by Blizzard anymore :D
- ability to expand from any direction (the major plus of Quest-i-on imo)
- quest levels
- quest coloring by difficulty as well as for progression
- Shift left click to chatbox incl the lvl of the quest
- if complete then hide the quests/objective as an option
- an extra line in the questframe to display the number of completed quests
Oct 10, 2005I don't really know in which way you can change things yet in 1.8 but there Blizzard decided to make their UI components to be loaded as addons instead of the default UI. What they will place in there is a complete mystery to me but that might aswell be the unitframes.Posted in: Addon Ideas
the 16 debuffs... well it sounds nice but I sure as hell don't use it. I use DUF atm and have 8 or 10 (depending on the frame itself) debuffs and 4 buffs for targets which is more then enough. so my suggestion would be a slider or something where you can users to set the amount of buffs and debuffs they would like to see in the frame.
Sep 28, 2005Posted in: Addon IdeasQuote from "Devla" »In my opinion, there are three good DPS mods out there right now:
Recap is the best looking and most feature filled of the three. Also has InfoBar and Titan support.
Damage Meters adds a "Synch" option which works well for large guild raids. No Titan or InfoBar support.
Combat Stats is the oldest and easiest to use. I think it has InfoBar and Titan support (haven't used it in a while).
Gello isn't working on Recap anymore, and is looking for someone to take it over. Maybe porting it over to Ace and adding a Synch option would be a good project for someone. I guarantee it would be a popular mod if done well.
A recap looks great does the job terrific but one HUGE downside. It creates an enormous sv file.
Damage Meters imo a great tool. easy to use and just does what it should do.
Combat Stats. There is a continued version out there since the original isn't developed anymore, but the new version works great. I use this in Titan Panel.
I use both Damage Meters and Combat stats. Tried Recap but that huge sv file made me decide to dump it soon. I just playing with it for the use of dumping the info in a php script.
Sep 27, 2005Actually when loaded the Discord mods are quite friendly but the initial load is a drag. switching between Nymbia's Perl and DUF actually gained myself on average half a frame per sec :)Posted in: Addon Ideas

True I currently Use DUF/DAB/DART too but the problem with those mods are that they aren't really friendly for the casual gamer :)
What Lozareth basically did was give you 3 libraries to toy with and do what you please, but for many players to damn advanced :)
Most people want it to be simple drag and drop with at the most 3 commands they need to remember and that's what I kinda wanted for the new UI I will be constructing for my guild. My target for this one is basically deliver an UI which you can instantly use with a max of 10 mins of configuring to their liking. That while still being able to move stuff around and most of all be damn handy to use :)
Trust me It's hard enough to accomplish it :) to soon it gets complicated for many people as I experienced with my other UI which I now just classify as advanced.
DUF/DART/DAB is more usefull for expert class then :) but still it stays great stuff what he makes.
Sep 26, 2005Well asked about the Discord mods at Lozareth but according to him it wouldn't help a bit.Posted in: Addon Ideas
For some reason I don't understand why people use Recap at all. It makes so much junk in your savedvariables that I deleted after 4 days. By then It already grew to be my biggest SV file.
Sep 26, 2005Karma has been one of the best addons I have seen and use it for a long time now, but currently it processes alot of errors due to the new patch and frankly the whole thing seems to be dead even the so called continued version which only had one release :OPosted in: Addon Ideas
The system is really handy to filter out people you dislike so you don't end up with them in an instance ;)
