That scares me more than the last thing that scared me a whole lot which was rather gut-shiversomely in the first place.

Why am I reminded of the kegger-party Borg from Sluggy Freelance?

*Rowne has gained a new playable class; Turan.

*Rowne cheers and dances with glee.

Granted! It's approximately 0.0000003792 picoseconds however before another n00b comes up with something even more idiotic that they herald as the best thing ever (and was very likely sourced from Something Awful, the most evil site on the internet).

I wish the citizenry of the World could get a crash course in protocol, elecution and sensitivity. Resulting in a better World for all.

You have an amazingly amazing computer, unfortunately it's so amazingly amazing that it secretly tries to take over the World and build an illluminati-esque society behind your back. Within two weeks your house and everything in it is wiped away by The Mysterious G-Man and his cadre of suit-encrusted goons. You're left to believe you're Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoyna del Rosa Remeres, a simple Monkey Grinder on the streets of Little Bavaria, a man who has absolutely no comprehension of technology whatsoever.

[Disclaimer: Name shamelessly stolen from 'The Suite Life'.]

I wish it was a perfect winter all year around (not deadly but about 17-20c the whole time).

    The horror, the horror!

I'm not a big fan of medieval stuff so I doubt it'd work for me, high-end technology or Geiger is where it's at for me. I need to do my entire interface out in the pleasing Geigerness that my WinAMP skin now holds.

If they ever did something like that with Starcraft though, I might ... might be passingly tempted by it.

There's always [SciTE] which has a [Lua Scripting Extension] but in my honest opinion, when it comes to real beardy testing, one can't beat the [Lua Parser itself]. Just run it on your file in a command prompt via 'lua -l filename.lua'. This will also give you a good testing grounds to practice real, executable Lua to see whether a crazy idea will work before booting up the Warcraft client for it.

Granted! You can now eat food over the internet, unfortunately this leaves you with a virus which alters your perceptions wildly. Almost everything in the realms of reality looks like food now. It all ends horribly with the misconception that that traffic meter over there was a lollipop.

"Omigod, that Car has bite-marks in it!"

[Disclaimer: This wish fulfilment was shamelessly ripped off from Teen Titans.]

I wish I could have even more fun whilst testing my AddOns (there need to be more people just standing around when I'm trying things out).

Whilst recently discussing my Cleveland-obsession with a friend of mine (it does not exist, it's a cover-up, a sham, a hoax, it's not really there, it's a Government installation, it's an alien stronghold, it's the End of the Virtual World we live in, it's ... [all this is stemmed from the fact that Cleveland is mentioned in so much fiction and fictitious media that the place has become as fictitious as the media itself, Cleveland is almost as popular in Science-Fiction as boobs are in action movies]), I was reminded of [this site].

Basically it covers the strangeness of American attractions and if there was one reason I'd want to visit America, it would be to check some of these out, some of them are utterly wild and push the envelope a bit too far, I'm surprised some of them haven't been outlawed by the right-wing populi of those states.

Ah, it sounds like you look after your PC.

I'm going to go with I/O failiure then, followed by overheating at a distance. Overheating might be happening but you'd be seeing other things, like weird cursor glitches and at least some artefacts somewhere, or you'd crash if you tried to run WinAMP with visualizations for example.

I/O refers to input/output, basically this could be the IDE controller, the motherboard, the cables or the drives themselves that're the source of the IDE issue. You could swap in some new hard disks but if it's the motheboard or the controller then you'd only ruin those too. I'd suggest trying a new motherboard before anything else. Oh and check your in-case CPU/mobo temp, just in case.

Okay, you can @path between room objects on MUCKs, right?

Why not use the text of a 'section' in one of these books as a MUCK's room description, then @path the exits to the choices of the book, so the MUCK itself becomes an interactive book with many players wandering around not having the faintest clue what they're really doing. *Perky.* That was the basic idea.

I don't think Illitrate could find a suitable piece for the Gnomes at the time.

Myself (for the guys at least), I settled on [Spaceman], which is totally perfect.

Granted, you are now a Master of time. You can play time like a VCR! This is cool for a while because you're able to rewind time to save yourself from death; you become a lthreethreet Ninja, with all the riches the World might muster. However, the increasing boredom of being stuck on Earth has driven you to insanity and deep within the depths of your own twisted mind, you no longer have any access to those powers whatsoever; somewhere in your mind you're Lance Buckshot, travelling the Universe with countless buxom babes, in reality however you sit in a quiet, padded cell. A drooling vegetable, a warning to those who would seek ultimate power.

I wish I could get AceLeash released (if belatedly), I've had the new globals system in place for a while now but this forum is too addictive!

I think that perhaps you mightn't have played those Choose Your Own Adventure books?

Head over to The Underdogs, they have some there.

Basically, the player would log-in but instead of North, South, East, West as the exits, the exits would be things like; "Turn to part 367" or "Turn to part 48" and they'd have to type the numbers to go on. There'd be a basic skill system wrangled in there too. I just think it'd make MUCKs much more entertaining to navigate.

Just in case anyone missed it because they were all in edits rather than a new post; I've put the BoogieBox videos up for download on my server.
