If you havent tried it already, Load Profile -> All in one Sorted, this is about as close to bags within bags that it gets currently.

Thanks that looks great for the meantime. Keep up the good work!

Shoutout to a guildie and a great addon Narg--just started using it today.

Been married to ArkInv for a while, and I have to say I really enjoy the "bags within a bag" appearance it has. Have you thought about making that an option?

Also, I haven't quite nailed down the precedence of rules. With prevent duplicates selected sometimes it's hard to get the duplicate to go where I want it to.

On build r25465 I haven't seemed to be able to see any debuffs on my target frame. Have tried various options of moving the frame around, prioritizing, etc. Is this a known issue that was corrected in a later build?

posted a message on Compiled List of Ace Addons that WON'T Be Broken in Tuesday's Patch?
Just wondering if anyone had lists of addons that will not be affected by Tuesday's patch. Things are hectic enough trying to get all of these downloaded before the Tuesday rush, and I thought it'd be nice to have a list of addons confirmed working.

posted a message on Boss Timer for BigWigs
One feature I really like about RDX is the fact that it will time boss encounters automatically for you (when combat is engaged and when the boss is dead).

Given the architecture of BigWigs I think that this would be a very easy module to add and very helpful for tracking raid composition, strategy refinements, etc. On top of just calculating DPS I find attempt time very helpful in refining strats/charting progress.

Just have a small window with the boss name and a stopwatch-like timer interface. Maybe a start/stop/reset button too. I'd love to have this.

I still think the addon that someone posted earlier is what you're looking for:

If you're NOT rage limited, then you should be using every ability as much as you can. SB/Revenge/SS all have 5-6s cooldowns, so you can easily slip Sunders in between them. Even easier if you have a macro/addon to do that for you. :P

Yup I'd agree there. I have a macro called "loltank" that I use for vael that just spams all the crap that I have. More often than not when fights are less filled with delicious free rage (most in the 30-60 range at any given time) I'm extremely picky about what I use and don't trust a macro to use the right thing at the right time.

And I'm not saying I never use sunder after 5. If I have the rage I'll stick it in there for the hell of it if I have nothing else to spam aside from HS atm, but in general the whole "spam sunder for threat" thing is something you learn early on as a tank and usually walk away from as you gear up / get better / get to know your class more.

    OMG WHAT NO!

That is the worst thing i have ever heard. Sunder armor is an instant attack.. That means weapon speed does not affect it. Sunder armor is the best threat generating attack besides revenge. Slam actaully generates less threat, the only real use for it is the dispell magic chance that it has. Heroic Strike is on next swing, so you can use that as well as your instants.

If you don't play a warrior, i forgive you... so good luck with this mod.

<-- MT for a Naxx guild.

Anyways since we're already on the tanget let's go there. :P This discussion assumes using Heroic Strike 9 and Revenge 6 from AQ.

Of course sunder is an instant attack; my mention of "depending on weapon speed" is only related to heroic strikes (which are weapon-based queued attacks). I don't use slam personally, since I'm not full prot, but it technically has the highest single-use threat generation of any warrior ability when you factor in innate threat and white damage. It's just not anywhere as high a threat/rage ratio as revenge, and if anyone's using it for anything more than a rage dump they're probably wasting rage.

Heroic strike, on the other hand, if used with a quick weapon can be substantially more threat-effective than sunderspam. Take for example a weapon like Widow's Remorse, where you have about as much top-end damage as a Quel'Serrar but a 1.6 weapon speed. Raid-buffed (assuming > 1000ap) you will be hitting white in the 200-300s and critting in the 600-800 range. With innate threat and white damage factored in that averages out to be on par or better than a sunder.

    BUT.

By using HS you don't blow your global cooldown. This means if you're sunderspamming, you can't queue up shield block, and you can't use revenge. Now obviously you're gonna stop the sunderspam to use those abilities if you need to--but my point is by making HS with a fast weapon the primary threat spam your global CD is always open to queue up shield block or use revenge the moment it's up.

That's all I'm saying. HS scales with gear and ap (unlike sunder), but has diminishing returns with slower weapons since it is based off of weapon speed. IMO, if you're just gonna rely on sundderspam for threat you should stay in 8 piece might where it's useful. :P

Sure, since some of the complicated stuff i'll save for a rainy day this addon's pretty much ready to go.

What's the typical protocol for a small addon like this? Worth putting in the svn? Or just drop it a folder somewhere and link it.

Overrated's rdx5 release with some personal modifications for skin/behavior.

Although I'm looking forward to replacing it with something not as big as a building as far as memory consumptioon goes ><

Actually this would be a nice thing to have. I've been looking for a "first mod" and I think I'll pick this up and write it.

It's also handy to have it monitor sunder debuff durations. For example, when 5 sunders are applied more often than not (depending on your weapon speed) it's better threat generation to move to HS spam/revenges/sslam (if you have it) than to spam sunder. But the debuff wears off after 30 seconds of no more sunders so you want to make sure you land one every 30 seconds to keep the debuff off. Sometimes that's hard to keep track of since you don't know how much time is left and endgame bosses cause your sunders to not land often.

Fun stuff, i'll start tonight. :P

The bottom bar is the now ubiquitous oSkin mod which you can find on the SVN.

That is hitsmode indeed on the combat log.

And yes the action bar mod is Bongos. Tried a lot of different bar mods over the past year and it's a clear standout. I use numpad to control most actions so I can go w/ the 4 row setting and pretty much map the keys to the numpad visually.

How did you scale the cooldown timers, I assume it's oCD

I'm on my laptop so I don't have access to the code ATM, but if you just want to scale there's an option on oCD that lets you change the scale.

I didn't want to scale, however, because I wanted it to exactly match my EBB size (which uses height and width).

If you look at Candybars.lua there are functions there for setting height and width, but they're not added to the mixin string at the top by default.

I just added those SetWidth and SetHeight functions to the mixin string table at the top of CandyBars.lua, and then you can open the main oCD LUA and call those functions from the AddBar (whatever that function was called, like I said don't have access to the code here) with self:SetHeight(id, 25) or whatever.
