What I do, is I use an addon like kgPanels to help me figure out where I want to put things.
Make a panel the right size, choose your anchoring (I always anchor the bottom left of the frame to the bottom left of UIParent), and use the kgPanel to find the spot where you wanna place your frame, then just use the offsets from kgPanels in the actual SetPoint call in the lua. :)
Frontier, the addons "Moveanything!" and "FluidFrames" (my preferred), both allow individual scaling and movement of UI frames. Sadly, this is done on a per-frame basis and with a drag handle, but I'm certain that once done the actual size can be edited in the SV. Once set up, it's usually not noticeable, unless you open the frames while in combat - the addons can't move/resize UI frames while you're in combat lockdown.
RecountThreat is only showing my threat. Not sure if this is only happening in cross-server instances, or if it's just a bug introduced by the 3.3 patch, but it means I have to install another threatmeter. And just when I'd gotten used to having Recount do everything. :)
There is no import/export feature in PB4. Also, you can't really use any of the layouts posted here in PB4, either. You can attempt to re-create them (which is the easiest method, imho), but you can't just paste the info into SavedVariables and have it show up right.
dr_AllCOM3, he doesn't have the option of using IE8 at work. Some companies are VERY paranoid about upgrading. There was one I used to work for, nothing could be installed on their computers after going thru an IT Security department at the home offices to be vetted and safety-tested. In 2004, they were JUST upgrading to WinXP - nearly 2 years after it's release. Everything else had a similar lagtime.

Just wondering if anybody knows a way to, in a macro, swap between self-buffing templates? I've got one template set up for my Retribution spec, and another for my Protection spec. I have a macro that automagically swaps my spec and gear, and would like for it to be able to swap my buff templates as well.
The versioning scheme used was changed a while back. In the layout, just change where it says "41843" to "1883".
Be warned, however, that many of the layouts listed here are from much much older versions of pitbull - pitbull and pitbull 2. So they still may not work.
She's using the kgPanels script to hide/show Recount while in combat.
Eilenda, in your kgPanels script, OnLoad section, put "Recount_MainWindow:Hide()" or whatever the hide command is for Recount. This will hide Recount the moment your kgPanel loads, and after that it'll obey the OnEvent section of the kgPanels script.
I use MonkeyQuest for my quest tracker. It works quite well. With the border off and background set transparent, it also works well with kgpanels for fitting into my ui look. :)
Kerecha, that's Pitbull4 mimicking the swap method that the Blizzard UF's use - when you're in a Vehicle, it displays the Vehicle's health/power/buffs as yours.
Okay... I just left Pitbull4 to go to StUF. Take a gander.

Okay, new WIP UI - decided to get away from the "big box UF's" and try something a little more minimalist.
I promise, I'll get a raid SS up soon. As soon as I figure out how I want Grid to look. *grin*
