Thanks for the replies.
Setting the layout to "None" is fine as a workaround. It's not something that I want to do very often, but there are occasions where I want to reduce clutter a bit and don't actually need Grid to be visible.

May 11, 2010Possibly a dumb question:Posted in: General AddOns
Is there a way to "share" some bars when you are switching between dual specs?
For me it's really bars 1 and 2 that are different when I switch from Discipline (main spec) to Shadow (off spec).
Pretty much all the other bars remain the same.
So I'm finding if I make a change to, say, bar 10 in my Disc spec, then I have to switch to Shadow spec and make the same change again in order for the bars to be consistent.
I'd like it if I could just mark some of those bars (eg. bars 3 to 10 or something) as being "shared" across the two specs. Any way of doing that?

Ok, I've started work on the translation. Will have to do a few bgs to get all the strings and double-check them, but will post my results back once it's done.
Most of the translation was quite easy but I am having some serious doubts about some of the strings Alterac. Many of the strings are different depending on which side is capturing and what the target is. For example, some use the verb "destruir" (destroy) and others "caputurar" (caputre), while others use different punctuation (exclamation marks) and others nothing. I get the impression from looking at the English strings that this kind of variation doesn't exist, and so I am wondering how complicated I can make the Spanish strings (regex "|" operators and the like).

No one has yet to provide the Spanish ("esES" I believe) translations.
Any information on how I could go about doing this? I speak Spanish and English, have a copy of WoW in Spanish, and have some programming knowledge.
May 25, 2008Just installed Capping and it looks great but the timers don't seem to work when running WoW in Spanish. Is this a known issue? Everything else seems to work fine, but in Alterac (the only bg I've tested in so far) the timers don't show up. Is there something special I need to do to make them appear? The mini-map and the other Capping UI (the menu etc) does show up.Posted in: General AddOns
