    Hello,
could you list pets in their class column instead of pet column, because they share greater blessing with the class. But separate them somehow from players.
    Like:

    Wariors
    -------
    Player1
    Player2

    Pet1
    Pet2

Maybe color them or add icon to distinguish owner/type.

As it is now, I have to assign say greater might to hunter pet and then remember not to left-click.
There isn't really room for listing all pets below the correct classes i think. I don't understand your last sentence. Why is it you have to assign greater might to pets? Can't you just leave it blank and then only assign 10 min blessings for individual pets?

I have now comitted my changes. Atm greater blessings are only buffed if all members of a class is within the 30 yards needed to buff it. I changed it so that only one has to be within 30 yards and the rest can be within 40 yards (using hl to check distance :)). I have tried something similar before with 100 yards but people didn't always get blessings then. So this should besically just allow auto buffing in a few cases more :)

GetSpellInfo only works on names if they exist in the character's spellbook, and thusly would require localized input.

just use 635 Holy Light (Rank 1)
Where did you find this id? According to wowwiki wowhead should have the info but couldn't find it. And didn't bother writing macro/addon to print it. :)

Anybody knows if it's safe to get spell name by calling GetSpellInfo("Holy Light")? Couldn't find the id but if this works for clients in other languages it should be fine.

If so i have a small addition for auto buffing of greater blessings :)

    Hi Poull!
I really like this Mod but when I'm rezzing people I always have to wait for them to accept the rezz before I can rezz the next person. Usually it's not a big deal but if you have to rezz a lot of ppl after a wipe i don't want to wait these few seconds everytime. Isn't it possible to save who hase been rezzed and "blacklist" him for 10secs or until everyone else is rezzed?
Additionally the Notification doesn't work for me, I've set it to say, party, raid - everything but it never sent any Rezz-info to the chat. Any Ideas on this?

SmartRes should already remember who has been ressed and not pick them for another 60 sec until their dialog box is gone. So your first request is already for me and everyone i have talked to.
Also i haven't had anyone else having problems with notifications.
What language is your cielnt using? And have you updated to the latest version?

    Hi Poull,
Big fan and user of SmartRes, after 2.4, i downloaded the lastest verson from wowace files and installed it. But my auto res dosesnt work like it used to before 2.4. I have auto res bind to - and when i press it, it just cast res but doesnt res anyone, before 2.4 it cast and res dead members that were in range and not res'd yet... any help?
Do you mean that it selects your res spell but doesn't target anyone? If so my best guess is maybe you are pressing the button for manual res. So try and check options and see if that one is assigned to - too or something similar.

Only change i made in 2.4 was when manually targeting people who had already released, it said unknown. (it might still do because ora2 isn't updated yet)

The 4th argument of UNIT_SPELLCAST_SENT which should be the target of a spell is no longer nil when a player who has released is manually targeted for resurrection. Instead it is now the string "Unknown". This means that line 183 in Participant/Participant.lua should be changed from:

if not target or target == "" then target = mousedowntarget end -- set from worldframeonmousedown

    to:

if not target or target == "" or target == "Unknown" then target = mousedowntarget end -- set from worldframeonmousedown

    Hi Poull,

I'd like every healer to pickup the mod and keep it updated. Is there any chance to have some kind of "mod installed" check with responses providing version number?

    Cheers,
I'm not really updateing it that much as it works pretty ok. Some occational glitches can happen but i haven't taken the time to fix them. but if i understand you correctly just get the healers in your guild, which i suppose is what you are referring to, to use a problem like the wowaceupdater that can be downloaded at the frontpage which is an easy way to check for new versions.

I have had an idea for a small improvement of the auto buff feature. I was under the impression that when you buffed someone who was in combat, you also got in combat. So my idea was that if severel people didn't have a blessing (say after having been ressed) those who wasn't in combat should be buffed first so the auto buff feature "works" as long as possible.

However as i tried to test these changes it seems that buffing people doesn't put you in combat. I have tested on a lvl 60 mob and a mob inside rfc. If it's possible i will test in a raid soon. But any of you have any idea if you actually do get in combat from buffing people already in combat in raids only? Or you just get in combat in raids for being near trahs mobs (i know bosses put all in combat)?

    Hi,

I'm one of our raid assistants and want to use pally power to assign raid blessings. Problem is... I'm no paladin. Shouldn't be a problem, according to the manual, but one thing is missing: I don't see any player names below the class icons in the config screen and can therefore not assign single blessings to players.

I created a lvl 1 paladin and with that little fellow, I saw the names.

It would be great if you could take a look into this.

    Regards
    Boergen

The reason playernames aren't show is because they use the info updated every 2 sec when monitoring which blessings are up, who is in range etc. And this info is only updated for paladins. I'm not sure if it leads to any sideeffects if they are updated for non-paladins but maybe you can help out testing that. What you do is simply change line 1015 in PallyPower.lua from this:
    if num > 0 and PP_IsPally then

    to this:
    if num > 0 then

And oyu cna post here if you experience any problems.

Thank you for the fast reply I dont have access to wow this right now. When I click they names will it autobuff all the warriors and my other one with salv in that example or do I have to click a special way for the custom baby buffs?
When you left click the buff buttons you always cast greater blessing. When you right click you cast 10 min blessing and that includes the special assigned 10 min blessings. Furthermore if only some people need a special 10 min blessing the class button will turn blue.

OK guys Im a retard and I need your help my guild runs 25 mans 4 days a week and I can get the greater blessings working great. But how can I assign 1 warrior salvation and 1 druid kings when everyone else has salvation? If someone could walk me through this I would be ecstatic and fyi we using great blessings on all and baby buffs on specials. Thank you for your time.
Here is a screenshot of me assigning salvation to a dps warrior.

There are severel ways to assign it. One way is to click the player name and pick the blessing from the dropdown menu. The two other ways is to use the scroll wheel on on the player name either in the config screen (where you see the small salvation icon) or on the player buff button.

Between raids (Or even within the same raid, players come in and out, a druid tank becomes DPS etc) I haven't always reset all the buffs and started again from scratch, meaning there are often residual small buffs configured. If I was the only paladin then it's fine as I can see the greater buffs and the lesser buffs for everyone. If I'm not the only paladin however, I have to go through a lot of menus to see at a glance the lesser buff config for all the other paladins.

Alongside each player name my lesser buffs are shown, it would be really nice if all the lesser buffs could be shown there. Perhaps the left to right sequence could match the top to bottom sequence of paladins so you know which paladin is which. Obviously it would be necessary to have a little box for each paladin even if they aren't lesser buffing the player so that the sequence is maintained. It could have the same config interface as the greater buffs where you click the small boxes to cycle through the lesser buffs for each player instead of (or as well as) the menu system. It might make the config window a bit wider depending on the number of paladin in the raid but I think it would be acceptable. It could always wrap if there were more than X paladins I guess.

I tried showing more normal blessings than your own but the config simply became too wide to support that. Showing blessings the same way as greater blessings are done in the config window doesn't really scale well up to 25 or 40 players so don't think that is an option. I have a few alternative solutions though. I could prefer you from being able to select normal blessings that others have already taken. So you can't see them but all you would have to do is cycle through those left and pick one then. Or maybe i could show a list of all the greater and norma blessings assigned to a player when you mouseover his name in the tooltip.

My 2nd little request is that it would be really nice if there was an option to configure autohide on:

    a) combat
    b) combat when everyone has the correct buffs
    c) soloing
    c) soloing when you have the correct buff

My reason for this is that during an encounter, I often am not paying much attention to pallypower but if it were to suddenly appear midcombat as someone had been battle-res'd for example, then I could chuck a buff there way, then it would hide again, freeing up screen space.
I think it's already possible to hide it when soloing. It would be possible to hide it when entering combat but think it's only possible to make it appear after combat is over then. Aznamir should be answer this better than me but I'm quite sure it isn't possible to make it show only when someone is missing a blessing.

Added individual keys for auto buffing greater and normal blessings. Standard keys are still , and ctrl+, but just change that. :)

Click your name at the top of the Paladin column in the config window to get a popup menu that lets you choose the 10-min blessing for you specifically.
Or simply use the scroll wheel on your mouse directly on your name either in the config window or, if oyu updated to the newest version, the buff ubtton with your name that appears when you mose over the class button.
