does just what I was looking for - <3 the option to enlarge the glow effect!
just a time format able to show hh:mm:ss would be the sugar on top for me. is that planned/doable?
i have this funky plan:
i have my buttons on a black background (ct_viewport). i'd love it if i could set the out of range color to black including a 100% alpha so it looks like the buttons are hidden completely.
i didn't find the alpha option in the addon, neither does it seem to accept a format of r=x b=x g=x a=x. now I heard one can set the alpha of the layer above the icons being out of range manually easily - well, I can't. when i open a lua it could aswell be martian and i'd understand the same amount.
didn't know where else to put this question, i appreaciate any help and i hope i made sense.
I guess that hits the nail - once consumed, I don't have a mana "ruby" anymore, just another mana gem. It works perfect if I consume the mana ruby and conjure a new one before the cd runs out. Then the icon will indeed jump back to become a ruby icon (i guess thats what you experience with healthstones). Problem is, I don't conjure new stones during a fight where I plan to use 2 or more managems, so I will not have another "ruby" but the next lower tier manastone only.
If there's any easy solution for this, it'd be great - if not, no biggie. The addon is awesome like it is :)
<3 this, its perfectly working now - tried it a million times, no more error. perfect!
now I'm having the next issue tho; won't keep me from using this one, no biggie -
so, if i'm making 2 manastones and consume 1 of em, the major mana pot shows up (which is just perfect).
Once the cd is off the gem (making me able to consume the 2nd one), I'd like to have the icon of the 2nd gem shown instead of the pots one. xad doesn't change the icon back from the pot to the (second) gem once the cd is off unless i rightclick it (and then abort the conjure cast). Is that doable or even intended to be like that? don't get me wrong, it will still consume the gem and not the pot once the gems are off cd, so functionality is perfect - its just against my instinct to click on a pot when I 'just' wanna eat a gem :)
ps: i didn't sleep yet, i hope i made sense and you could understand what i mean ;)
I appreciate your explicit and quick response, I am even under the illusion I understood what you said :)
I'll try one of the solutions you suggested, really appreciated. Thanks!
i'm experiencing something interessting, but I'm not sure whether that is intended to work like it does or not.
i'm playing a mage using bongos - i set my UI so that I only have those spells shown, that I need for range purposes a.k.a. 1 spell per range (making it 5 buttons with the current build) - I hid all the other buttons. The spells on the hidden buttons are ofc not 'clickable' but they work just fine using the assigned key.
So, i wondered why oCD refused to show me the cd on my frostnova. I found out accidentally that the hiding of the buttons prevents oCD to show the cooldown for the selected skill. Once I unhide the button via the bongo menu, the oCD bar will pop up and display the cooldown correctly.
Me being a total stranger to coding - i wonder if thats planned (and if so if I can change it somehow) or if its not intended (and ofc if it can/will be changed).
[...] Can you walk though step by step what you are doing to repeat this and make sure to check your bags for any manastones as you go. I don't see what exacly is going wrong yet.
sure -
1. login ofc
2. conjure the first manastone (mana ruby) by rightclicking on the Major Mana Pot shown on that slot when there's no manastone yet
3. mana ruby is created, XAD icon shows the icon of the mana ruby now (all fine so far)
4. trying to create the 2nd manastone (mana citrine) by rightclicking the same icon again
5. getting error message as linked above:
Error: Interface\AddOns\XAD\Core.lua:805: AceLocale-2.1: Translation for not found
First I thought it was something so it only works once per login - which is wrong. It works just fine if I consume the mana ruby and then re-conjure it.
I guess thats all I can say being totally stranger to coding :)
awesome addon, it offers just what I need - except for scaling of the icons.
can I do that with another just as light addon or was I just blind and its even in buffalo yet?
Error: Interface\AddOns\XAD\Core.lua:805: AceLocale-2.1: Translation for not found
whenever I conjure a mana citrine by rightclicking on the manapot button - works fine for the first conjure (mana ruby). also works fine on reconjuring it after I consumed it.
maybe I should add I'm a total retard when it comes to anything about coding - so even if this error message is a 100% obvious hint how to fix it myself, I wouldn't see that.
