I did fix that issue, but I can't recall how. Could be:
- reinstalled Grid
- removed "Moveanything" addon
- disabled "GridStatusHots" addon
I'm guessing it was Moveanything, but if you don't have that then try #3 and so forth. Best I've got atm.

May 24, 2007Just a thought:Posted in: Grid & Grid2
Even if Pet's don't fit the nice, clean, tight version of a 5 x 5 Grid matrix for a 25 man raid, perhaps one could have an entirely secondary window that would populate just with Pets so that you could locate it adjacent to the main character window or somewhere entirely differently.
I just use X-Perl for my Target, ToT, Focus and myself and if I wanted to show pets in my party I would use it for that too, but for Raid pets I think a 2nd Grid window would be an option that may be better than trying to fit pets into the current window.
May 24, 2007With 2.1 is anyone getting an error where the minimap button doesn't do anything? It worked prior to 2.1, but not the next day.Posted in: Grid & Grid2
I have changed maps and moved other buttons around to no avail. I haven't yet disabled all other mods except for grid but I have disabled some of the more likely candidates. I'll disable all of them tonight and check.
Probably a mod conflict (I use Trinity Bars, MetaHud, X-Perl and Fubar but not Fubar-Grid) but thought I would check here.
Grid still working fabulously for me - thanks to Pasta and the others for a great mod.
Dec 28, 2006Just a note in between all the bug/enhancement talk to thank Pastamancer, his accomplices, and the other addon writers for Grid (especially the additional buff/HoT/cornersize authors!) for creating a great mod. I've been using it mostly in AV/WSG as a hardcore PVE Priest and it works very well there with 40, so I know it will work well in PVE raids also.Posted in: Grid & Grid2
Having 368,000 healing done in a 42 minute AV is a testament to how well it works.
Dec 8, 2006I am using Trinity bars and had the same problem. I fooled with the frame settings location something or other and when I set it to LEFT or BOTTOM or something then it started to behave normally. Sorry I don't have the details, but suffice it to say that I have both Trinity and Grid working simultaneously w/o a problem.Posted in: Grid & Grid2
Dec 4, 2006One last note:Posted in: Grid & Grid2
Perhaps it is just me, and/or been posted already, but about 1 out of every 8 clicks on a raid member will result in a non-selection due to the nameplate I believe being non-targetable. Perhaps I can change this myself or lower the strata of the nameplate, I'm not sure.
This is using Grid on the live server, so perhaps that is the issue. If not, it could cause deaths due to starting a heal on my old target thinking I had gotten my new one in the haste of battle.
Disregard if this has been covered or if it is because I'm an idiot. Just FYI otherwise. Thanks!

Thanks so much for this response earlier:
"My raidgroup has healing assignments, even for trash, so knowing the three lowest health, in-range units isn't useful to me. I don't want to derail this into a discussion of raid organization or healing tactics and I don't feel that it belongs in the core Grid package. Add it to the wishlist and perhaps someone else will create it for you."
I won't post after this one, as I agree we don't need to get into a healing strategy discussion, and I will definitely add it to the wish list as you suggested.
Please allow me this one chance to change your mind, however. No response necessary of course :)
For background I am perhaps the top healer for our guild which is currently working on Faerlina, who goes down tonight lol.
Probably the number one reason to use Grid in TBC is for healing/decursing. It has many other purposes, but healing is the key given the new changes. In this regard it is already much better than healing off of CT_Raid frames. For that, I thank you and your broader team.
That being said, the key for any Mod like this is QUICK IDENTIFICATION of the OPTIMAL TARGET.
For decursing all targets are essentially of similar importance, and it is easy to watch a few of the key targets like MT or MT healers, etc, using this mod.
For healing, however, there is a BIG DISPARITY in the differentiation of key targets. Someone at 5% health needs healing more than someone at 10% and so forth. Having only two thresholds to set health targets at with Grid leaves too many gaps and too many visual signals to identify the OPTIMAL target quickly - ie: the guy who is going to die.
Going with focused groups for the healers is not a bad idea (helps with overhealing % for example), but it would seem to help the poor healers and curtail the good healers. I heal all over the raid, and yet hardly ever drop someone in my party. If I was always OOM or losing my priority targets then this would be a bad thing. But I am not. I can save quite a few people in my raid from dying using current methods, but if I lose my tools to identify the optimal targets then I truly will be losing about 10-20% of my capacity as a healer. There is no way around this.
I know how much I heal and how often I lose targets. I am not an Emer Meter spammer per se, and I don't recommend my methods for everyone. However, I think the functionality I ask for could be so helpful to so many people. Just because your team uses the focus group strategy shouldn't force the rest of us to not get this functionality, right? I doubt I'm in such a small niche of the healer world :)
Sorry for the long commentary, lol. Great mod and I really do appreciate it. I'll add this to the wishlist. Thanks for listening.

Dec 4, 2006I can't stress enough the request to allow Grid an option setting to highlight the lowest health raid targets in range, in SEQUENCE:Posted in: Grid & Grid2
Red frame = lowest health
Blue frame = 2nd lowest health
Green frame = 3rd lowest heatlth
and so forth, depending on how you set it up. Even if limited to the lowest 3, that's all I would need.
The information is all available, the settings just need to be made available.
If Grid is to become the NeedyList, Decursive, Emerg Monitor all in one for TBC, it needs this functionality. I use Emer Meter to heal across the raid and I need to know the lowest person(s), not just everyone below a certain threshold.
This mod has so much potential (and is great already), but if I can't get this I still have a hole in my TBC mod package.
Dec 3, 2006Great mod - thank you!!Posted in: Grid & Grid2
One HUGE request, if possible... I posted this on wowinterface as well..
Instead or in addition to being able to have frame warning for people below a certain health level, could we be able to see the ACTUAL LOWEST and 2ND LOWEST HEALTH raid targets in range??
That would replace Emer Meter functionality, since I usually healed the 1st, 2nd or 3rd lowest member in range. For example..
Orange Frame = Lowest Health raid target in range
Green Frame = 2nd Lowest Health raid target in range
Blue Frame = 3rd Lowest Health raid target in range
3 targets would be plenty. The data should already be available to determine this, we just need the setting options available to us.
That would be HUGE! It is much harder to figure out the optimal target to heal when 5 targets are all the same color.
