Ok, half of my guildies and friends who I end up supporting with their mod habit use WAU and only WAU and never go to the directory listed mods...

Would somebody be willing to put this up on SVN/WAU?

As has been said a number of times, EQC is not being updated, so there's no reason for it to be in WAU. Install the version you want to use and forget about it, there's never going to be anything to update unless someone adopts the addon... and that seems unlikely since there are two forks of it instead of someone picking up maintenance on it.

Kekkub, you missed my point. Perhaps I will be more direct. Put tekkompare on WAU. That way people who use WAU will at least have something they can add to their huge list of mods to update. That is all.

If we're totally locking people out of any compare mods...then can we at least get someone willing to keep their current project updated and accessible through WAU?

It's kind of a dick move to just blatantly push back the TOC on code that (even though it might not be superbly written) worked for 98% of the thousands of people that use it.

Please cut the petty politics and realize that there are thousands of people that use WAU to update their shit and could care less about one tiny squabble between some of you power-tripped moderators.

Please, if you're going to maliciously break something in a fully working community supported project, please be aware that there are a number of users using just WAU who would at least like an alternative.

    Thanks.

I know SimpleCombatLog does much of the filtering, but all it really does is alloq you to filter line by line.

I suppose more or less what I would like to see is what is promised as an additional component to x-perl unit frames that allows you to view a tooltip that includes the events leading up to their death.

Something that could objectively look at the player and log these things would be fantastic; then filter from there the specific unit similar to how SimpleCombatLog allows you to overide all filters for (a) specified unit(s).

I hope I am doing an ok job of explaining one example of the indepthness (word?) of what I'd like to see out of this mod...I keep posting between a long night of raids and the time I pass out...

I was hoping that this is still happening.

While doing new content, being able to specifically determine what you want to see in a combat log...more specific than the built in blizzard mod...

I want to know why I died. I want to know what is killing or hitting over a specific amount on my tank. I want to know what specifically kills everyone--whether it is creature, environment, dot, aoe, MC'd friendlies, themselves--and the built in blizzard log can't do this.

Also, I seem to have all damage that could come at me "turned on"--but sometimes it doesn't show why I die.

This would be very very helpful for tuning raid performance both on the personal level and for a raid leader.

I would like an option to hide the MT and PT list frames.

There are a few people who use other mods for MT and PT frames and currently i dont see a way to fully get rid of the display...

I am back to the precedent version :)

which one is working for you? I went back three or four full revisions and it crashed wow every time i tried to change the scaling.

i had just spent a while resetting all of my mods and setting and slowly enabling each mod and reconfiguring them manually.

i went all teh way back to 27794 and still having issues.
