    did you file a ticket?

No, but based on the responses here, I will. It appears to be something that players would like to have. It shouldn't be too much trouble for somebody who knows what they're doing, especially since most of the functionality is already written in the Aggro module. It would be really awesome for somebody to take this on!

To create a filter like the one I use, you'd go to Aura -> Aura filter editor -> Advanced, set it to Display when: Highlights and List type: Whitelist, and add some debuffs in the list. Then go to Layout Editor, select the frame(s) you want to use the filter on, and go to Aura -> Highlights to select the filter you just created and choose colour settings.

I will try this tonight in the meantime. Thanks for the tip.

Hey - I recently made the jump to Pitbull 4 from 3, mainly waited this long because I didn't like the idea of having to re-create my UI from scratch. The entire UI creation experience compared to PB3 was MUCH better than I expected. The process took about 25% of the amount of time as the previous version, which is outstanding. Thanks for that.

Now for my question: One thing that Pitbull4 is lacking (or I just don't know how to set it up) is a good "buff/debuff" system that can let the end user know important debuffs on other raid players. For example, on Anub'arak, it's VERY important that you know which players have "Penetrating Cold" ASAP because you basically have 3 seconds to heal them or they die. With Grid it's quite easy to add a debuff to watch for, and I'd love for such a feature to be added to Pitbull4. Something along the lines of this in the config:

    Buff/Debuff Name: <Textbox>
    Action: <Dropdown List>*
    Color: <RGBA Dialog>
    Enabled: <Checkbox>
    <Remove Button>

*Values here would be "Highlight Health Bar", "Highlight Frame", "Border Frame" etc

Basically the reason I'm asking is that I've always just written my own crappy plug-ins to unit frames to make them work like I wanted, and I can't figure out how to get this functionality to work in Pitbull4. Think of the way that the "Aggro" module works, and that's basically what I'm looking to do except for customizable buffs/debuffs.

Thanks for your help - you guys have really worked hard on this and the result is awesome.

posted a message on Quartz: Modular Casting Bar
It would be super awesome if Quartz would treat channeled spells like it treats multiple like items being created by a profession.

For example, each item made is a separate tick on the Quartz bar while the overall total progress is also being tracked. I'm hoping that each tick of the channeled spell could be treated the same way (part vs whole) so that players who want to clip a channeled spell and start casting a more optimal spell can see when the tick occurs and not do it too early.

    Shadow priests worldwide would rejoice!

is there a posibility to add health frames to kalecgos encounter?
for dragon kalecgos an demon Sathrovarr the Corruptor.

I'd like to second this request. Since both of these guys have to die at almost the same time, it's rather difficult to keep track of both without ventrilo. The problem is that Sathrovarr exists in something similar to the invisible realm, and isn't targetable when you're DPSing the dragon, and vice versa. Probably would require use of the raid communication channel.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Last night on Kalecgos attempts, there was some buggy behavior on the spectral realm announcements. They would occasionally announce a player that was already in the spectral realm as the "portal spawner" instead of the correct person. After a few hours of attempts, we were able to determine what was causing this problem.

The "mis-notification" happens when there is a player who goes through a portal that is about to despawn. This player *barely* makes it in as the portal is despawning, and at that moment a new portal spawns on a different player. Essentially two players end up gaining the "Spectral Realm" debuff and almost the exact same time, and sometimes the "late" player's debuff gain is actually being announced.

It's pretty important to know who had the portal spawn on top of them so that you can react accordingly. I'm sure other guilds have noticed this behavior too - so what can we do to help you see if there's a repeatable pattern to this? I'm not sure that logs alone can help solve the problem because you won't have any idea who was the "late" guy.

Thanks so much for your help! BigWigs makes this game better! :D

I`m interested in the ability to remove the "Spell damage" text and just leave the numbers. As for the dogtag option, how do you use it ? i check it and nothing happens.

I'd like to second this request. Thanks! Loving this so far.

combat logs are not very helpful, transcriptor logs are preferred to show us the name of events and such, anyway, i took some guesses and added some timers, no idea if it works.

Thanks a lot - I'm sure others will provide feedback on this.

Until then, I have installed Transcriptor and will provide these logs to you asap.

I would be happy to provide combat logs to aid in this addition.

Here's our logs from two seperate kills. I'm sure any other void reaver logs would also suffice.

    Thanks again.

Hey guys - huge fan of BigWigs.

It has recently been determined that Void Reaver's knockaway agro reducer will not reduce agro if the target dodges or parries the attack. Because of this many guilds are doing things at the knock away time (30 second timer roughly) to help keep the tank from getting hit with it, such as intervene spams, dodge trinkets, etc.

It would be awesome if there were a BigWigs timer bar for the knockaway attack. If you guys deem this worthy of addition, I would be happy to provide combat logs to aid in this addition.

Thanks for making such a great raiding addon!

That's not exactly what I was looking for, but I tried it anyway. This definitely solves the problem.

I'm going to miss my ag raid frames though :(

posted a message on Big Wigs - "Effected Player" list - idea
    Guys -

I love how BigWigs places a skull icon on single players that have something happening with them that requires the focus of a raid, such as Static Charge on Vashj.

Given the number of encounters that randomly select a group of players, obviously using raid symbols is a little much to get those people noticed. However, if Bigwigs had some sort of "players effected" list/array built into the interface, it would be quite nice for many reasons.

When players are added to or leave the list/array, a custom event could fire that unitframe addons could catch and highlight the player accordingly. This would very easily let healers know "who got watery graved" or "who has an inner demon," etc because the unitframes would have seen a the "effected player" event and outlined the player's frame in yellow (for example).

I hope this makes sense - it would make it much easier to see multi-player random afflictions during encounters - at least easier than matching up health bars with comma-delimited raid warnings.

Is there some kind of frame hack we can do in the meantime?

I answered my own question, the answer is yes.

Basically the bug has to do with scaling and right aligned fonts. 100% scaling size is the only one that's guaranteed to work, so instead of scaling it in game, why not set the in game scaling to 100% (the only one that works) and edit the luas to reflect the preferred size?

Basically I took AUF.lua and adjusted any static sizes by the percent that I previously enlarged it in game. The same goal is accomplished, and the text is working as it did a few months ago.

If you scale frames and are missing pieces of your right-aligned text, read on the forums a bit and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty! :)

Looks like it still isn't working after the patch, which means if they intend on fixing it it will be weeks before it happens.
