Okay Nevcairiel, that was the answer to my question.
I was hoping that its possible to add another "Set" of Raid Icons which you could select via an Addon, but since it cannot be created via the regular LUA code and since its against the TOS ill delete the files again. I dont want to lose my account just because of such a (imo) trivial change to the interface looks, especially since I wouldnt get any benefit over other players (Like for example when people make invisible walls or use modified world meshes to get to areas where they shouldn't) other than a little more eye candy.

Thank you, I guess this topic is done unless Blizzard opens up an allowed way to allow custom Raidocon Sets.

These icons are in two different places in the MPQ (one texture containing all of the icons in a grid, and then individual textures for each icon). You probably need to replace all of these to make them show up properly in all situations.

Can you tell me where I find the individual icons by any chance?

And where can I place that code please Kagaro? Simply put it to the start of an existing LUA file?

I did that and it works for unitframes and aloft raid symbols, but not for regular icons over the head on friendly units for example where I have aloft nameplates disabled.
Here 2 examples of what I mean..

See how the icons switch between the old and new custom style depending on if its on a nameplate or not?
Thats my problem and I wonder if its possible to change this with a possible addon maybe.

    Image probably said it all.
I am trying to insert these Icons into WoW, the problem is that the file is extracted out of the data/locale/base-locale.MPQ file, and it doesn't work when you simply put the new blp file into the interface folder keeping the structure.

Would it be too difficult to make an addon like maybe aloft that exchanges the regular icons with customized icons like these and makes them floating above the enemies head?
I absolutely suck in LUA programming but it was another addon Idea I had and maybe someone with more programming experience than me also likes the idea. ^^

Thank you in advance for responses!
