    I get that from time to time to that ppl get themselves as pets, sometimes its just a single person, but sometimes its classes that don't have pets, and from time to time the entire raid shows having themselves as pets.

    Make sure wow is allowed to write to the location where you have the saved variables folder.

    This is not uncommon as an issue on vista/win7 computers where WoW has been installed in the default "programs" folder. The so-called security system won't allow wow to make changes to files in the "protected" programs folder unless ran as administrator.

    Easiest fix is to move wow away from the programs folder. No need to reinstall, just create a folder for instance c/games/world of warcraft and move the contents of your wow folder there (and redo shortcuts).

    MinimalArchaeology is working and looking good now, just a few tiny details

    The buttons open arcaeology panel and the X to close the MA window isn't skinned.

    (not sure if nest 2 are skinning issue or something that needs to be adjusted in the addon)

    The "holes" for placing the scrolls/runes seems like they could use a slight nudge upwards in relation to the bars/buttons if possible.

    Theres "dead space" around the borders preventing it from being placed snugg against the edge of the screen.

    The bars I am talking about are enabled (if you are using the default Blizz UI) through the interface options you access by clicking the little computer icon. I think there is a separate topic for 'action bars' and you just enable them with a check box. They appear on the side of your screen.

    When I went to the Bartender interface, they also showed up on the side. Until Kerecha told me that all I had to do was change the button ratio, I had no idea how to get them from the vertical to the horizontal. I think Bartender uses the Blizz bar default until you tell it otherwise.

    But I think I'm good now :)


    Thats just it, i have always had them checked, they disappeared and became "bartender" bars the moment i installed bartender thats why it sounded strange to ever see those with BT installed

    what "addiotional actionbars" ?

    to "flip" any bartender bar just change the ratio between buttons and rows.

    1 button 12 rows = vertical
    12 buttons 1 row = horisontal

    My guess is that you want the overall size of the frame to dynamicly change whenever the castbar activates.

    Ie if your normal frame without the castbar is 30 pixels (15 each power and health) and the castbar is 10 you want the frame to become 40pixels whenever a cast starts instead of all 3 being displayed as 10 each.

    I think this would cuase some pretty messy problems with positioning and spacing between frames, not even sure it would be possible to do in combat.

    It behaves simmilarly when set to not hide, but then it needs quite a bit of work to make it appear as if its hidden when not casting.

    If you set it on the bottom, no background or border on the frame (think you need to use an empty/blank bartexture aswell, don't remember exactly) it will just seem to appear below the rest of the frame.

    Personally i have the casttext on the mana bar and a thin (just 2-3 pixels) castbar below it on autohide

    Anyone know how I can do this with LUA Texts? Is there any way to treat HP+MaxHP as one string of text and apply the string.sub to the whole thing?

    ie showing 99999/99999 as 99,99k or 99.9k
