Is this just a port over to Ace2? Neat. And the coming of Jujus has been on my want list for such a long time, I can't wait for this addition.

an idea that i had, that may be well suited for a module, is a small bar above the grid display to show more detailed info about the grid unit that your mouse is currently over.

Lol didn't I just suggest this very same idea like 5 posts back? Anyways. That looks great and is essentially what I thought should be displayed there. Of course have options to change what is displayed within the bar and how (maybe Watchdog-esque tags?) And not only have it display whom you're hovering over, but enable it to lock a static player or perhaps even an entire class-group. (i.e., I play a druid and have been given decursing duties on all priests. allow the bar to lock Priests and their debuff (filtered) status).

Actualy the more I think about it I'm thinking of having each plugin have a default icon that gets displayed when you don't have any of the items in the item set for that pluging. IE say you have healthpotions on button1 but don't currently have any in your inventory. Right now the button just disapears and will popback in when you get a health potion to use. If I give each plugin a default icon then that icon will be displayed instead of the button just disapearing and the item could would display 0. I could also dim the button to help indicate you don't currently have any of the items for that plugin.

I actually prefer the collapsable method. i.e., You have three buttons: Health Pot, Mana Pot, Food. While you have some of these items in your inventory, the best type of that item will be displayed in each of its corresponding slots. Now say you just downed your only mana pot in your inventory. The bar will 'collapse' down to two slots and Health Pot and Food slots will be right next to each other.

Not sure how well this will work with some of your functionality of right-click to create health/soulstones and the different mounts, but just my two cents =)

Set a MT name which would be clickable and plugged for Clique.

From what I understood, Clique will be dead when BC comes out.
Clicking will be managed by Grid itself.

Spank me if I'm wrong, maia ^^

From what I understand, Clique will be fully functional unless something else changes from Blizzards end. The only things that arn't going to work is spell-rank selection and heal-rank selection.

Seems that "Use on yourself" option doesnt work...I`ve tried on bandages, don`t know for the buffs etc.....

I don't use bandages, but buffs, consumables and misc. nick-nacks all work with Use on Self for me.

If "status bar" become an independent plugin (I can't see anything about it on the first post ^^), I guess we could have more use for that kind of bars:
    - Show informations about who we are hovering (name, maybe health deficit, debuffs... you choose);
    - If you are casting a heal, shows who you're casting it (I really miss it in Squishy).

That way, that's less bloat on the frames themselves (no tooltip getting in the way of other squares... something like PerfectRaid out of the box).

I slightly agree with British on this point. I find it kind of necessary to have some additional information on certain units, possibly hovered or clicked. Perhaps a plugin could be made to dock into the header of the Grid frame (or possibly even add its own mini-frame on top) to show a few choice things:

Set a MT name which would be clickable and plugged for Clique.
Although the frames themselves are compact and nice, it would be great to to have the ability to set a static name (possibly even a whole class group?) on different healing/decursing duties.
Have a part of the header (maybe at the end) show a small indicator of whom you are currently casting a heal on.

Kudos on another fine mod maia, can't wait to see this bad boy in action. Of course my suggestions are for ambitious plugin authors and not for the core at all =)

    X,

Used 0.4 last night for ZG run, then some DM and UBRs fun. Works like a charm. Stacking was being handled very neatly and it certainly feels like it has that nice 'polish' on it now =). I will continue to do things that try and break it and keep you informed.

I would suggest you try turning off all other addons and see if EavesDrop still does it. Does it move even after you lock it in the options? just wonder if some how you are accidentally moving it from your normal UI usage.

No worries Gray, something is not gelling with it for some reason. The only other step I havn't taken is to completely delete my WTF and WDB folders and reset the entire Ui. Moving it during normal gameplay is not exactly possible given its location and the location any of my click casting mods.

I can't seem to pinpoint what the problem is for me. And my apologies that I can't provide a more code-savvy error report, but I have zero coding skills and buggrabber isn't catching anything. I appear to be the only one having this issue so I'll just try and work it out on my end.

Its using WoW's built in frame moving/tracking, so I doubt its anything with EavesDrop itself. Set it where you want it, lock it, then reload UI. If its works that once, than it should stay there forever. The only way I know for it to lose its place is if the position has never been saved before and you crash.

I'll try doing a fresh install of the addon again, and try this method. There is no rhyme or reason to why it happens. In ZG tonight it would keep its position for 1-2 hours then out of the blue revert back. Very strange.

Thanks for the quick fixes and the quick reply. Was going to post the error for anchoring to itsef but someone beat me to it. At any rate, will download revisions now and try them out tomorrow or Saturday night. Since you are talking about storing loot data/history, making this a seperate, LoD addon would be nice =). Perhaps have a start/end/reset session option as well so we can record loot tables (with player names/class) tables.

Grayhoof, I'm still having issues with the Eavesdrop frame not saving its position. It throws no errors, it simply resets its position after I change instances, reload ui or log in/out. It does also happen occasionally on its own. I can't pinpoint it to any other one thing that could make it happen. I tried loading ED on its own, continues to do the same thing. I have cleared out my SV file, and deleted the file folder and did a fresh unzip.

Tried out the loot monitor/window last night - I likey. Some observations even though I'm unsure as to what your options base will be:

    1. Option to set alpha for frame/border.
    2. Have the frame/border scale to loot received.
    3. Option to only show other persons loots that are above a certain quality and/or quest/junk/etc.
    4. Make the frame have a static header that would show # of looted types for the session (resetable via click?) i.e., 0 (orange colored) 10 (purple colored) and 10 (blue colored). Not sure how difficult this would be or if you're even going this way, but just throwing it out there.
    5. Option to adjust fade time.

From its current state it worked flawlessly. Thank you for making coins off by default. Again, not sure how difficult any of this would be but being able to enable/disable certain loot types for raid/party members would be great.

Fantastic work on both of these, ++Karma for you!
