Kerecha's first error happens on login and is caused by your new code in Altoholic.lua:158 (DS:RegisterEventListener("Altoholic")), since DS doesn't seem to have that function and its meta table does the rest. I commented that line out localy and Altoholic was working fine again. So maybe you added some changes for a newer version of DS you didn't push, yet.

Yay, thanks Elkano. This simple change fixes all the errors i was getting and it is all working as expected now.

i had odd errors appearing as well. Deleting the altoholic.lua saved vars didn't help.

but deleting all Datastore saved variables, made these errors go away. A button inside althoholic would have been nice.

Wish i'd seen this before the servers went down for maintenance.. will try this and post with results when they come back up.

    Thanks.

I suspect Altoholic has also implemented its own form of name completion, so the 2 compete (that is, Postal will autocomplete "Shagem" first when you type "S", then Altoholic thinks the user typed in the full name "Shagem" and autocompletes "Shagem" too but with the cursor at the end since it thinks the user typed the "m") and one interferes with the other.

Can I suggest you to check if you can disable Altoholic's autocomplete? Or disable Postal to see if Altoholic does indeed have its own autocomplete mechanism?

You're right of course, if i disable Postal the autocomplete from Altoholic works in the same way Postal's does. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to disable this functionality in Altoholic currently though.

    Hi there,

Just having a slight conflict issue with mail recipient name autocompletion when used in conjunction with Postal as per my post here: http://forums.wowace.com/showpost.php?p=287368&postcount=612

Any chance of a fix for this? Otherwise thanks for an awesome addon for keeping track of everything on mine and my friends accounts.

Actually xtoq, its not clear at all. No idea what the heck you are saying. Also is this issue with Postal v3.2.0 or Postal v3.2.1?

Do you also use Altoholic? If you are, try turning off Altoholic and see if the issue exists. That addon doesn't play nice with many other addons, especially in the way of hooks.

I have the same issue, and yes disabling Altoholic does indeed fix it. Basically when you type the first letter of one of your Alts names into the "To:" box it autocompletes it to that alts name and moves the cursor to the end of their name so for example i type "s" and it autocompletes it "shagem" with the cursor and the end and none of it highlighted, so typing any other name starting with s requires me to delete everything it autocompleted and continue from there.

I can see this isn't your problem but do you have any tips on what we need to ask the altoholic developer to change so that it doesn't screw up Postal's perfect implementation of autocompletion?

This is probably out of scope, but perhaps there is another addon i can combine with squire to achieve it.. Anyway, is it possible to stop squire from selecting oversize mounts in certain zones? More specifically, mammoth mounts suck in Dalaran and Stormwind.

I have a strange problem with Wowaceupdater 1.9.44 on my laptop. No matter what i do i can't get it to save my "WoW Install Directory" in preferences. It defaults to C:\Users\Arsenal\Documents every time i open the Preferences panel. I can use the browse button to select my wow directory ok, but clicking "Ok" never saves it. In fact i can choose any directory and it doesn't save it, so its not just my WoW directory.

All other options in the Preferences panel save correctly.

Its probably worth noting that i'm using an Apple Macbook Pro and running Vista under bootcamp, but this is the first program i've come across any issues with... and even then i can't see why it would be related.

I assume this is just something to do with the way Dogtag/Pitbull does things compared to Perfectraid, but for some reason the [Raidgroup] tag only works for people from my realm in battlegrounds whereas Praid shows everybody's groups fine.. is there anyway round this or is it just something to live with?

I'm the author of the mod. :P

I left out the option to autojoin not for botters, but because i didn't tink of it. :)

I think I will add it, but before I need some advice on how to make a timer on it (I don't want to auto-join instantly). If someone can point me on how to make this I would be grateful. :)

Thank you very much for adding this, and a 5-10 sec timer would be great.. don't want it auto-switching bg's when i'm in the middle of a 5 cap AB!

Also thanks to Ragnor for the code in the meantime.

Out of interest does SmartQueue autojoin the battleground once you get the "invite" as it were?

Yep, i've always had the same problem, which certainly seems odd when you compare how few nodes it has stored versus how many my mining module has.

I just got a nice idea for this addon. after reading a couple posts above. How about an option to have the raid leader (whoever que'd up) automatically do a /rw [Opponent Name] is close to death! (or something similar, when one of the enemies is below a certain percentage.

This way the text would be dead center on the screen and also has the raid warning sound, to alert all members to finish off the weakened enemy. Of course setting it as an option to those who may not want that seems like a natural idea. :)

Now this does sound handy, though does require someone in your group to have the person targeted/focused to be properly trackable.
