    Note:

    If your settings seem to have reset after the last update, go into the Options -> Profile and Choose Default again, or alternatively, copy your settings from Default using the "Copy" option.

    Is there any way to have it default to a profile (say, the Default profile) regardless of character logged in? I have a Default profile listed in SavedVariables\Bartender3.lua, but it won't load it up by default anymore. It loads the Bartender3 defaults unless I explicitly change it (Options>Profile). It used to load up whatever the Default profile had, if there was a Bartender3.lua present, now it simply recognizes it with no loading.

    The AddOn That We Do Not Speak Of is excellent. Even that coupled with TrinketMenu is a smaller memory usage footprint than that of ItemRack alone, or so it seems. ^_^

    Nothing like having memory usage at 18.5MB sans raiding addons.

    Oh great, looks like a lot of people are asking for this "go to bottom" button, hope that means someone will put it in soon :D

    what I meant to point out was, i already did quick fix to implement what you are looking for...

    The only thing I still miss from this Excellent mod is a "scroll to bottom" button in the corner of chatframes when not at the bottom, like the venerable ChatBox has (http://ui.worldofwar.net/images/ui/01819.chatboxB.jpg). I know it's on the ToDo at the wiki page, I just wanted to do a shameless plug for that poor feature :)

    I currently use Tekkubs "The Low Down" which is great in it's own right, but not what I need... A visual indicator would be a lot better. I sometimes scroll up to read or compare a lot of links, and if I don't scroll the frame a tad now and then TheLowDown will start scrolling it to the bottom for me. With a button I'd always see what frame is not at the bottom, and have an easy way to get there.

    Any way to have the buttons in Prat do this? Right now i"m using both Chatbox and Prat....several features that I love about prat aren't available in Chatbox...but I've grown so used to the scroll to bottom button I'd rather not do without it.

    I just posted about this very same issue. I did not want to Shift + Mouse Scroll Down, or have to use The Low Down, mostly due to reasons other posters have already stated. Once you are used to doing a certain thing a certain way, it's hard to break old habits, neh? ;)

    So, that being said, I decided to code (read: hack) in the desired ChatBox functionality to provide the "Scroll Down" / "Scroll-To-Bottom" button functionality initially found in ChatBox.

    The function ensures that regardless of whether you have the Up/Down Arrow buttons toggled on or off, the "Scroll Down" / "Scroll-To-Bottom" button will always show if you have scrolled up into the chat frame/log. It evens moves the button to the same place that ChatBox had positioned it. XD

    Currently, it also moves the Emote Button to the right side as well. However, that was an unexpected side effect (I keep my Emote Button toggled off anyways) and I am still working on the correct placement and the slight alpha fade a la' ChatBox.

    Prat\modules\Buttons.lua
    Line 204
    (replaces function Prat_Buttons:ChatButtons())

    function Prat_Buttons:ChatButtons(frame,visible)

      local ggCFnUB = getglobal("ChatFrame"..frame.."UpButton");
      local ggCFnDB = getglobal("ChatFrame"..frame.."DownButton");
      local ggCFnBB = getglobal("ChatFrame"..frame.."BottomButton");
      local ggCFn = getglobal("ChatFrame"..frame);

      ggCFnBB:SetPoint("RIGHT", ggCFn, "RIGHT", 0, 0);
      ggCFnBB:SetPoint("LEFT", ggCFn, "RIGHT", -32, 0);
      ggCFnBB:SetPoint("TOP", ggCFn, "BOTTOM", 0, 28);
      ggCFnBB:SetPoint("BOTTOM", ggCFn, "BOTTOM", 0, 0);

      if visible then
        ggCFnUB:Show()
        ggCFnDB:Show()
      else
        ggCFnUB:Hide()
        ggCFnDB:Hide()
      end

      if ggCFn:AtBottom() then
        if ggCFnBB:IsVisible() then
          ggCFnBB:Hide()
        end
      else
        ggCFnBB:Show()
      end

    end

    It works on all chat frames, as far as I can tell. ^_^

    Hi, I changed to this recently from a mod called Chatbox.

    One feature I really miss is that when scrolling upwards, chatbox would give you a button with an arrow pointing downwards that would bring you back to the end of your chat.

    If you were at the end, the button would vanish however.

    Currently with Prat, with buttons hidden, there's no way to know whether you're looking at the middle of your chatlog, or the end.

    I find myself frequently at the middle of the chat somewhere, not knowing that I'm there, thinking there's no chat going on.

    Add that smart downwards arrow button that shows up when you're not at the end of chat? :S

    Hm, seems as if you have to click the toggle for the Chat Buttons to get it to move (possibly because it fires an OnUpdate type of event?) looking in to it now.

    Is there an option for the "Go to bottom" button to be made available if one has scrolled up in the chat history. Since Page Down doesn't repeat if you hold the button down, scrolling down with the mouse all that way is a PITA.

    Regardless, this AddOn is excellent! Thanks for the hard work on it.
