It's an addon called Litestep which is free btw unlike a lot of other addons to mod windows with.
this is the "layout" i used http://mynimal.deviantart.com/art/case-LS-37760903
which i then proceeded to butcher to basically fit the background color of this wallpaper and my needs.
its a text based addon btw.

    niiice, thanks a lot :)
now just need some documentations or a good site, since litestep.net seems a bit outdated hehe.

How do you get the default taskbar to hide? That is to say other than auto-hiding it, so it doesn't popup annoyingly every time you bring the mouse too close. Thanks in advance :)

unlock it and bring its height to 0 by dragging the top to the bottom

I don't know if it's a bug or the normal behavior, and i don't know if it comes from my layout (modded p3lim)or from oUF itself.
On the party frames, the aura borders are not correctly colored when the unit is out of range but instead, the wholo icon is covering aura+border. once the unit comes in range the border becomes correctly colored.

post a screenshot of that please

    1. What can I use to show enemy buffs/debuffs? I'm using classtimer right now, but it doesn't fit in with the overall look.
    2. How do I get my buffs like Phanx? (vertical bars)
    3. Is there anything I can use other than parrot for Shaman cooldowns? I like to know when SS is up, as well as when my shield runs out.
    4. Are there any tooltip addons that show what the hell a vendor does? Startip only has name, not what the vendor sells.
    5. Anyone have any suggestions for reducing the number of buttons showing? I use stuff like ctrl+mouse3 and such for hotkeys, but I'm not a huge hotkey user. That's why I have so many buttons visible.

    1. its configurable, make it "fit in with the overall look"
    2. dunno where you saw that... her buffs are in the top right corner.
    3. MSBT like Lyn said.
    4. Tinytip does this... actually all tooltip mods i ever tried did this... and never heard of Startip.
    5. make bars show/hide based on condition, like combat/no-combat, show on mouseover, etc...

A friend of mine started to use my layout and as he's playing a shaman, asked me why his weapon buffs like windfury weapon weren't being displayed, why ?

Another question also, currently i have range check enabled on party and raid frames and it seems to work fine but when i try to add the target and pet frame to the list of enabled frames it doesn't seems to work, i target a npc standing right next to me and it's being displayed as out of range, why ?
    So basically i changed
    	if(not unit) then

    to
    	if(not unit or unit=="target" or unit=="pet") then

i think i remember some1 sayin' that UnitInRange only works on raid/party.

well thing is, in the grid layout afaik there is no recoloring if you get aggro.
and yes i meant of course oUF_banzai.
but i stole rabbits code from the raidlayout to recolor the name if u get aggro which seems to work.
otherwise wanna show me the function to add ?

well its not a function, its a command. you need to set the "default" color in the function that update the thing you are using, because banzai color them to red when aggro, and then stop coloring them in red when you don't, but it never set the color back to default because your function that update the object should do it.

ie: if you are using the hp bar, you need to have something like "bar:SetStatusBarColor(r, g, b, a)" in your "updateHealth" function.

if you are using the name, then you should have something like "self.Name:SetTextColor(r,g,b,a)"(but you prolly already have that in your updateName function).

found something else which im unsure of it the problem is located with grid or not.
however im using lib banzai and its working fine for my oUF layout but for grid it seems to stay in the aggro color regardless if im targetted or not, once ive been targetted of course.
    it resets are a reloadui

if by lib banzai, you mean oUF_Banzai, then its normal as oUF_Banzai doesnt recolor the hp bar, it only send a command to update the health bar(with the function in your layout), which set the color there for most layout, but if it doesnt, then it stays on red.

So... if you are running oUF_Banzai, just add ":SetStatusBarColor(0.2, 0.5, 0.9, 1)" in the updateHealth function of the Grid frames.

You need to upload another smaller image and link to the original, or use the thumbnail feature most imagehosts provide.

    or just use the bbtag.

    [ url=the.link.here][ img width=300]the.link.here[ /img][ /url] without the space

mine works just fine though and its pretty much a straight up copy from rabbits.

what he means is if some1 want to check it in 2 weeks, and Rabbit did some changes, yours won't have them, but p3lim's link always give the up-to-date version and + no need to download something.

Is it possible to make the combat fader plugin fade my frames back in when i choose a target instead of when I get in combat?

yes, change the event for "UNIT_TARGET", and do a check like "if(UnitExists("target")) then show else hide end", etc..

No, the orange background color is manually set just to show the opacity problem I have, it shows through the health bar it self in the 2nd one, as opposed to the last one (the wishful thinking one)
All the frames are the same unit (my rogue ><)

ahhhh i see. well i don't know why, but maybe adding something like this in the fadeFrames functions would fix it
framename.Health:SetAlpha(A) -- or (A*1.5) to put a higher alpha than the frame one

another guess would be that there is some code leftovers from your previous try that change the bar alpha or something...

are you running it as a separate addons/modules or is this in your layout?
