I wish WAU had a 'beta' pane that showed beta versions of current addons you have installed, so we could help (by being a beta tester) if we wanted, but it would be a choice to load em up. And be able to 'fall back' to a stable (and predictibly working) version if we wished.
This would prbably involve some behind the scenes management of versions and SVN definitions, but is should be doable. And it would save a lot of anguish on the part of the casual users who use WAU and often get unstable updates (betas) of addons downloaded. (see toadkiller's offical Autobar thread http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=9138.0 for an example...)

While I agree that the transition from old to new has not been handled well (I use WAU too) I gotta hand it to Toadkiller, this mod has always been awesome under his development (and essential once you start using it) and I am totally behind where he is going with it. The changes are going to allow him to give us a lot of the features we have longed for and make it easier than ever to use, configure, and extend.
That said, I do hope he gets it back to where it was as quickly as possible (the config controls either don't work at all or work in a very klunkly and incomplete manner. i.e. popup direction). He seems to be updating rapidly as he gets it rolling, so I'm optimistic.
If you are getting weird issues some config options actually are working, but you have to reload the entire UI manually to get them to actually assume the new configuration. It's a bit of pain to get used to the new config model, but you will be happier in the end.
Give him a little patience.
P.S. I WISH WAU had a 'beta' pane that showed beta versions of current addons you have installed, so we could help if we wanted, but it would be a choice to load em up (and be able to 'fall back' to a stable predictibly working version if we wished...).

Sep 22, 2007How hard would it be to make the dressing room bigger? Say, have a UI scalebar/input field for it specifically, so I can pick how big I want it to be on my screen? I love to be able have something fullscreen like the character chooser as you are logging in. say a button to toggle to fullscreen and hit esc to come back.Posted in: Addon Ideas
Anyone know how hard this would be to accomplish?

I am also having the problem that other(s) have reported. Icons alla round minimap. However I cannot get 3.0 to work at all (for any practical purpose). What pluings to register to it and load do not function and cannot be adjusted (right clicking on them gives an old framework reference error).
Where can i get the latest Fubar 2.0? I need to roll back to it.
