    I figure I have to be doing something wrong, but I use Skada with two windows, one the default called Skada, and the 2nd one I named Threat. I'm attempting to replace Omen completely, and it works fine, except when I'm on my pally tank. I have "Do not warn while tanking" checked, but it doesn't matter.. I get the Fel Nova sound I set over and over every time the other tank is tanking and I am riding his threat (like on Saurfang when we switch off.. especially obnoxious on that fight). There is no way to drop my threat instantly other than salving myself and not attacking whatsoever, and this is incredibly annoying on my paladin. Is there any thing short of disabling all sounds on my pally (which I'd have to undo when I'm not in tank spec) that I can do to fix the problem? I may be missing something simple, but i really need this to work in order to replace Omen.. I'd hate to go back to using Omen with Skada when Skada works perfectly otherwise.

    I'm not sure if this is possible, but I currently use Grid with mouseover macros. I would love to have the option, however, of a Clique-like mod that would allow me to bind keys to mouseover healing over *certain* frames.. say, Grid, while allowing you to default back to Blizzard keybindings when not mouseovering Grid. so I could set W to Binding Heal mouseover over Grid frames, but also set it to casting Devouring Plague otherwise.

    Clique allows you to assign click actions that interact with certain frames separately from the Blizzard click functions, so I was wondering if it's possible to do that with keys. It would be especially helpful for saving keybinds when dpsing and having to throw an emergency heal (I dislike clique for this because i prefer not having to fiddle with modifier-clicks, and otherwise, there aren't very many "click"s that you can do..) or while shadow pvp arena when you have to be versatile and keybinds are at a premium.

    I think the problem is fixed. Thank you all of you for your help, and especially Phanx, messing around iwth the addons.txt file in that character's folder fixed it, I believe. It wasn't set to read-only, but for some reason some of my random text files were being saved in the same folder and there were additions to addons.txt that seemed to be blocking anything further past that being read.

    I have a problem on my shaman- there are addons that I cannot disable no matter what I do. I've removed Addon control Panel in case that was the problem, and I physically disable from the character screen, log in, and I still have Auracle/Shadowed Unit Frames, a couple of Grid indicator modules still on. It's really bugging me. I don't have this problem on my priest, my other 80. I've tried resetting my shaman's Saved Variables, no good. I've been trying to experiment with SuF and Pitbull, so sometiems I want Pitbull on and sometimes I want SUF, but I cannot have "just" Pitbull on. SuF just won't go away. (as well as Auracle, but I just deleted it).

    Any ideas what could possibly be causing this problem?

    I have another question. I dislike how texts will grow outside of the frame, for instance, if my Focus Target's name is long, even abbreviated, it will grow outside of the Focus Target box and overlap with the Focus box which is to its left. I would prefer to have something like S. .... inside the box rather than having the text grow outside of the box. Is this something that can be done?

    Also, how are texts prioritized? For instance, on my Focus frame I have name on the left and percent HP to the right, I want to make sure that the percentage is prioritized over the Name. I think this works when Name is to the left and percent HP is to the right, but not vice versa, possibly because anything on the left is always prioritized?

    Other than that.. Boss Frames, please!! I've been messing around a lot with Pitbull 4 and SuF, and Shadowed Unit frames is missing border coloring for elites/rares/bosses and Pitbull is missing the boss frames. I'd really love to have the option, since blizzard boss frames are really ugly.

    Thank you for the comment, for some reason I had thought the combat fader was just an option for your target, dumb of me. It works perfectly. I guess the only thing I really miss at this point is an option for boss frames, as the default Blizzard ones are so ugly.

    Two questions:

    1. Is it possible to have the cast bar on top of the portrait? I put my portrait in the center horizontal between Health and Power bars, and would love to have the option of having it be replaced by the cast bar when there is a cast going off.

    2. Is there any option to hide frames unless health or mana is not 100%, or if you're targeting someone, or in combat, etc.? If not, does anyone know the name of an external mod that could do this?

    I've been a long time user of Pitbull, and I keep trying out pre-made OuF frames, but I just keep coming back to Pitbull because it is easy for me to configure and make look exactly the way I want. Those two features are the ones I miss the most from OuF tho. My apologies if these questions have been answered before or the answers are obvious. Thank you for your work in providing this unit frame mod, it is still my standby and I think it will remain that way.

    *Nevermind, it was a stupid problem on my part.! I just wanted to edit then and thank you again for this plugin, it makes Grid even more versatile than it already is. I LOVE being able to make the mana bar into a HoT bar the way Vuhdo can handle hots, my only wish is that there were more bars (which isn't a problem related to this plugin at all of course). Thank you for your work on it.

    I know you already said that you don't want to add stacks/duration to the cornericons plugin ,but I would really like to see those added, so thought I would leave a word. As it is, things like GridIndicatorSideIcons do add duration, but I've been used to using those for a different purpose.. i really feel that the upside of using something like icons instead of an indicator square is to be able to add things like duration (as well as being more easily recognizable, of course).. so I would love it if you would reconsider that, seeing as it is something people can choose or choose not to use depending on whether they check "show duration" for the aura..

    How does Grid aggro alert work? In pvp, it doesnt seem to light up at all, which may be as intended, but I was trying out vuhdo and it lights up aggro indicators when someone is targeted in BGs.. which is somewhat useful and could be useful in stuff like 5v5s.

    ETA: i dont want to make it sound like i'm comparing grid to vuhdo and it falls short.. it doesn't. If it did I would just use vuhdo. I like Grid and have been using it for years, but i did want to ask about a few features that i've noticed while trialing Vuhdo.

    I do use the icon type stuff, but generally stick to indicators because icons are usually too small for me to distinguish when I have several different types of hots, and same iwth cooldown spirals/numbers. The indicators changing color is fine, but the hot bars are kind of nifty in Vuhdo as a visual cue for hot duration.

    I would love to have a plugin that adds HoT bars such as the ones implemented in Vuhdo. they are similar to GridManaBars, but just with HoTs like Rejuv/Riptide/Renew, etc. ticking down on bars. I apologize if this isn't the right place to ask for such a plugin, but wasn't sure where else I would post.

    I've been experimenting with Vuhdo because of the rave reviews, and I must say that these HoT bars are the only thing that I really love, that Grid cannot already do.

    I understand that it may be possible to do something like this with GridControlPipes, but afaik that only works for one hot. On Vuhdo you can add up to 3 "bars" separate from ManaBars for different hots.

    That's the error I get. When I go to skinner-->backdrop it says Backdrop texture file is set to None, backdrop texture --> inactive tab.

    BTW, I also had a very annoying green texture show up for docsui nameplates on friendly players, i had to disable nameplate skinning. Just a headsup for anybody who couldn't figure out why there was a green bar on top of friendly player's names. It's because DocsUI_nameplates reskins player and npc naming, but isnt' intended to show a friendly health bar, but skinner adds one.

    I had this problem and when I went to the .lua it already contained this exact same code. I copied pasted your code over it anyways just in case, but still had the problem of Skinner overriding Skada bar textures. I just deleted the entire line and it works fine now. Not sure if I should be doing such a thing, but just a headsup in case anyone else is having similar problems.

    Also, Skinner doesn't allow me to use Auracle. The default Skinner settings hide the Auracle edit box for trackers. I was perplexed when I tried to set up Auracle, and it was only the fact that there were detailed instructions and screenshots on curse.com for Auracle that made me realize a lot was missing from my auracle config screen. Turning off Skinner fixed the problem.
