Not to remain pessimistic....
But what exactly is the point of Mapster over the built-in map? The ability to reveal unexplored areas is the only "feature" I see with this addon.
Is downloading 4-5 addons to accomplish the same tasks as the old cartographer really the best option here? Instead of just asking Cartographer developers to change the "couple characters" in the LUA file and redistribute a working copy of the addon they've maintained for years?

I am pretty sure the 3.02 warning was added recently... there's no way I would've missed big bold red letters before ! i swear !
I agree with the above poster... Cartographer is a must-have when it comes to map addons, and 3.0 is really too much.
Oct 17, 2008As with most other major Cartographer updates, this one has deemed the addon almost useless. You cannot click anywhere on the map..you can cant right click to zoom out 1 level, you cant left click to zoom in or change zones. The instance maps aren't even there.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
Dec 13, 2007I just installed Bartender3... looks good so far. I'm wondering, though. I respec from time to time... and wondering if its possible to add buttons to your bars for talents that you aren't currently specced for?Posted in: General AddOns
For example: I respec SL/SL Warlock for arenas, and I train Curse of Exhaustion. I made a bar just for curses and I'd like to have Curse of Exhaustion on the bar, whether I'm currently specced to know the curse or not. The next time I respec, and I drag Curse of Exhaustion onto that curse bar I made.... will the button stay there even when I untrain the spell?
